ISTANBUL – BRUSSELS – (Brugge Tour) – PARIS
We arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control, then fly to Brussels on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC921 at 09:50. After arriving at Brussels Charleroi Airport at 12:20 local time, we set off for Paris by the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Along the way, guests who wish may join our extra Brugge Tour (50 Euro) program. Brugge, known as the “Venice of Belgium” thanks to its houses set in water and streets made of canals, is known as a dreamlike city. The city’s medieval structure and historic architecture, which fortunately were not damaged during World War II, have survived to the present day. The colorful, single-story, cake-like houses with roofs, churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets that appear in the city square will draw us into a fairy tale. PARIS – (Paris Phenomena Tour and Seine River Boat Tour) – (Paris Icons Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join our extra Paris Phenomena and Seine River Boat Tour (85 Euro). We begin our Paris Phenomena tour with the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris and even of France. Built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Paris III. Universal Exhibition, this steel and iron structure was nearly demolished, but due to the great interest it received from tourists during and after the 1889 World’s Fair, it was preserved and has remained standing to this day. We offer free time around the Eiffel Tower for photos and sightseeing. During this free time, guests may go up to the 2nd floor of the tower, which consists of 3 sections (levels) and each section is reached by elevator, to enjoy the unique view of Paris and take beautiful photos (optional Eiffel Tower elevator ascent fee is 23€, not included in the extra tour price). After our Eiffel tour, we organize a Seine River boat tour. (Boat tour is included in the extra tour fee) The 776 km long Seine River, one of the best-known rivers in the world, divides the city into two. During the cruise on long boats gliding slowly along the river, we will see many of Paris’s famous buildings and the 37 bridges over the river from a unique angle. After our Seine River excursion, we will pass panoramically by the Comedie Franceise Square, where many historic buildings including the Lady Diana Monument, the 17th-century royal entertainment center Palais Royal, and the French National Theater are located, via the Invalides (Veterans) Square route, and then arrive at the BENLUX Store, where we give free time for shopping and sightseeing for products such as souvenirs, cosmetics, bags, watches, and accessories. Guests who wish may visit the Louvre Museum, which was built as a defensive castle in the Middle Ages but began to be used as a museum after the French Revolution and was visited by nearly 10 million people in 2012, after our photo stop there, during the free time provided they may visit the museum (optional Louvre Museum entrance fee is 33€, not included in the extra tour price). On our tour, first we will go to Montmartre Hill, known as the “Painters’ Hill,” where bohemian life still continues today, due to street painters, cartoonists, and many famous painters having worked there, and which forms the highest point of Paris. After visiting the Sacré-Coeur Basilica (Church of Vows) rising on top of this 130-meter hill (transport by funicular is included in the extra tour fee), we will have free time for your portrait to be drawn in the painters’ square and for sightseeing. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to our hotel in the Luxembourg region. Along the way, guests who wish may join our extra Disneyland Tour (Single Park Ticket 130 Euro & Double Park Ticket 150 Euro – ticket prices may vary depending on availability. Advance reservation is recommended. Guests joining the Disneyland Tour are responsible for their own transportation from the RER Train Station to Disneyland Park. Guests joining the Disneyland Tour will be dropped off at the RER train station on the way there, and on the way back they will be picked up from the entrance of Disneyland Park according to their preference.) program. The capital Luxembourg, which bears the same name as the country, is protected under the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the only city that has managed to become the European Capital of Culture twice, in 1995 and 2007. After our city tour in Luxembourg, one of Europe’s smallest countries in terms of area, we arrive at Trier, the second stop on our tour. Trier, located on the banks of the Moselle River in Germany, founded by the Roman Empire and having the oldest history in Germany, features the Porta Nigra Gate, Trier Cathedral, Church of Our Lady, Ancient Roman Theater, Karl Marx House, and the Roman Bridge among the main sights during the excursion, and after free time for sightseeing we complete our tour and continue our journey to Cologne. In our tour as we head toward the city center, we will see the Moselle River and the vineyards lined along it. Then we will see Reichsburg Castle, the symbol of Cochem, from the outside and have the chance to photograph the castle silhouette. Built in the 11th century and located on a high hill, this structure can be seen from almost every point in the town. Located around the Rhine River and maintaining its importance as a major trade center since the Middle Ages, Cologne is an important German city known for its chocolates, Roman-era artifacts, Roman walls surrounding the city, medieval churches, and many historic buildings. Cologne Cathedral, Hochenzollern Bridge, and the Kaiser Wilhelm II Monument are among the main sights during our city tour. After the free time offered following our Cologne excursion, we head to Roermond, home to the largest designer outlet center in the Benelux region and Germany. After the free time we offer at the Outlet Center, which hosts stores of many famous brands and fascinates shopping enthusiasts with its affordable prices throughout the year, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Amsterdam. Away from motor vehicles, Giethoorn ranks first on the list of the world’s most peaceful places with its pristine nature, bridges, canals, and charming houses with unique architectural beauty. After our sightseeing in Giethoorn Hobbit Village, during the free time provided, guests who wish may pay an additional fee (optional boat tour fee 10 Euro) to take a wooden boat ride through the canals of this fairy-tale town and also see the charming houses resembling the living spaces of hobbits from a different angle. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Brussels Charleroi Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. After arriving at the airport and completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control, we fly to Istanbul at 17:30 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC924. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 21:45 local time and end of our tour.
