ANKARA – ZURICH – LUGANO – COMO – MILAN
After baggage drop, check-in, and passport control at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Terminal, which we will complete 3 hours before the flight, we fly to Zurich at 07:20 on SunExpress Airlines’ direct scheduled flight XQ732. Upon arrival at Zurich Airport at 09:45 local time, we set off for Lugano by our private coach waiting for us at the airport. With our arrival in Lugano, we will take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, which lies within Switzerland and will captivate us with its unique nature, wonderful views, and city park, and we will enjoy the unique scenery by photographing the beautiful natural surroundings. At the end of the tour, we depart for Como. Como is a center located in the Lombardy region and stands out with its historic buildings and orderly urban layout. Its city squares, cathedral, and waterfront offer visitors a compact and easy-to-explore area. Lake Como, one of Italy’s best-known lakes, completes the region’s natural appearance with the surrounding hills, lakeside settlements, and regular transport lines. The lakeside area is a region that is regularly visited throughout the year and has a balanced appearance between city and nature. On our Como & Lake Como tour, we will first reach Como city center and see the cathedral area, squares, and waterfront from the outside. Then free time will be given on the shores of Lake Como; during this time visitors may stroll around the lake, take photos, or explore the surroundings. MILAN – VERONA – (Venice Masterpieces Tour) – (Venice Colorful Islands & Gondola Tour) – VENICE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Verona. Located on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Verona is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum, and to the home of the famous play Romeo and Juliet by the renowned English writer Shakespeare, which tells the world’s most famous love story. After our panoramic city tour, during which we will walk along Via Mazzini (the main street) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafés, and stores, and also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and head to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Venice Masterpieces Tour program (85 Euro – including vaporetto and city entrance fees). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic works such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower; afterward, we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. At the end of the tour, during the free time offered only to passengers participating in the Venice Masterpieces Tour, guests who wish may join our optional Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour program (75 Euro). In this tour, where we will have the chance to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see the islands of Lido and Murano from the sea and visit Burano Island, the fishing village famous for its lacework, known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. After the free time for sightseeing and shopping, we return to Venice and complete our tour with a gondola ride, which has become the symbol of the city. VENICE – (Florence Masterpieces Tour with Lunch) – ROME
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Rome. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Florence Masterpieces Tour with Lunch program (65 Euro). Upon arrival in Florence, we begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, which immediately attracts attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the most striking features of the cathedral is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” where scenes representing the stories of the prophets mentioned in the Qur’an are depicted. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which for centuries was Florence’s political and social center and where Michelangelo’s famous statue of David is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After the Florence Masterpieces Tour, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour program (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” because of this feature, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares combine with the enchanting lake and valley views and the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, called Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” offering art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome can carry even these crowds with all its beauty and aesthetics without overwhelming people. On our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the symbol of the city, the ancient theater Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where, according to legend, those who throw a coin into it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, and Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo among the panoramic sights. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour program (65 Euro). We begin the tour by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of Angels and Navona Square, then visit Vatican / St. Peter’s, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the world’s smallest country in terms of area. We offer free time at St. Peter’s Square, where the St. Peter’s Cathedral, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 statues of saints, stands; thousands of Catholics come here every year for worship, and on special days the Pope comes out from his office to greet the people. After the free time provided, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this trip, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, Trastevere, where we will experience the true Italian atmosphere with its cafés, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops as well as its naturalness and simplicity, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, the Ghetto districts, and the Ancient Tiber Island, which is connected to the city by 2 bridges, are among the panoramic sights. After our walking tour through the narrow, maze-like back streets lined with small tables, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Siena & San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Pisa. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Siena & San Gimignano Tour program (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Siena. Siena is famous for its narrow streets dating back to the Middle Ages, its small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After an enjoyable tour of Campo Square in Siena and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we complete our tour and arrive at San Gimignano, our second stop. San Gimignano has earned a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to this day, and thanks to the 14 architectural wonder towers that survived out of 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters, it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers.” In San Gimignano, with its narrow streets opening onto the town square and its atmosphere that makes visitors feel as if they have traveled back to the Middle Ages, we will carry out a sightseeing tour through the squares where we can view the 14 magnificent towers panoramically. Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino has inspired songs with all its beauty and delights visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our Portofino tour, we continue our journey to Milan and, upon arrival, arrange our Milan city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining. During our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main sights. After the Milan city tour, we depart to visit the outlet center. MILAN – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – ZURICH
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for an unforgettable and dream-like train journey on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina railway line with the Bernina Express / Red Train. During the fairy-tale journey we will make on the world-famous Bernina Train, built between 1898 and 1904 and now listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, which adorns the dreams of many travel enthusiasts, we will have the chance to view and photograph extraordinary landscapes. After an enjoyable train journey of approximately 2 hours, we arrive at St. Moritz Station. After arriving in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set, we will have a short free time and sightseeing tour, then we depart for Zurich with the vehicle waiting for us. Upon arrival in Zurich, on our city tour we will see panoramically the Fraumünster Church, Grossmünster Church, Swiss National Museum, Opera House, Lake Zurich, Clock Tower, Old Guild Houses, Zurich Altstadt (Old Town), and Bahnhofstrasse (Station Street), with its lively and colorful atmosphere surrounded by world-famous shops. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Zurich Airport for our return flight to Ankara. After completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control at the airport, we fly to Ankara at 10:40 on SunExpress Airlines’ direct scheduled flight XQ732. Arrival at Esenboğa Airport at 14:55 local time and end of our tour.
