We arrive at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete baggage drop, ticket, and passport control procedures, then fly to Barcelona on Ajet Airlines scheduled flight VF607 at 11:35. After arriving in Barcelona at 13:30 local time, we set out on our panoramic Barcelona city tour with our private coach waiting for us at the airport. On our tour, we first go up to Montjuic Hill, where we can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city. After a photo stop here with the city’s unique and breathtaking view, the Columbus Monument, Plaza De Espana, and Port Olimpic (marina) are among the places to see. BARCELONA – (Barcelona Icons & Girona & Figueres and Dali Museum Tour) – BARCELONA
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Barcelona Icons & Girona & Figueres and Dali Museum Tour program (125 Euro). First, on our tour, we go up to Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the city’s magnificent view, and visit Park Guell, designed and built by Antoni Gaudi. “entrance fee included” In Park Guell, which took its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1984 and takes visitors to a fairy-tale land with its vivid colors and nature-inspired figures, we offer free time for photos and sightseeing. Then we will see Casa Mila, one of Gaudi’s most important works in urban architecture (Gaudi’s House), and complete our tour with a walk around La Sagrada Familia. After the free time offered at the end of the tour, we begin the second part of our program, the Girona & Figueres and Dali Museum Tour. Our first stop on the tour will be Girona, the largest city in Catalonia, which enchants visitors with its museums, galleries, Gothic-style architectural works, and walls rising around its narrow, cobbled, labyrinth-like streets. In our visit to Girona, we will see and photograph the colorful houses lined along the Onyar River, which divides the city in two, and walk along Libertat Street, a traffic-free street in the old walled city square whose exits lead into narrow, maze-like streets. In the city where Christians, Catalan Jews, and Muslims lived together throughout history, we will complete our tour by viewing Girona Cathedral panoramically, and then head to our next stop, the Dali Museum in Figueres. After a short sightseeing tour in Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dali and home to the museum he designed from a theater building while he was still alive to display his works, we will visit the Dali Museum (entrance fee included in the tour price) and take an art tour through the museum, which houses 4000 of Dali’s works, accompanied by our guide. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel in the Barcelona area.
BARCELONA – VALENCIA – (Paella Dinner and Valencia Nights Tour)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Valencia. Upon arrival in Valencia, our panoramic city tour will include the Gothic Cathedral, Valencia Cathedral, Torres de Serranos, the medieval walls surrounding the old city, Reina Square, Mauques de dos Aguas Palace, and Town Hall Square. During the free time offered after the tour, guests who wish may join our extra Paella Dinner and Valencia Nights Tour program (65 Euro). On this tour, we will discover Valencia, the 3rd largest city in Spain, which fascinates visitors with works bearing both historical and modern architectural features from the past and present, and its port area under the evening lights. In Valencia, the birthplace of Spain’s world-famous Paella, we complete our tour after dinner at a local restaurant and free time in the port area and along the famous coastline, and arrive at our hotel in the Valencia area. VALENCIA – GRANADA – (Al Hambra Palace Tour) – (Sacremento & Gypsy Show)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Granada. Granada, founded on fertile lands at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is one of Spain’s most touristic cities. In our panoramic tour of the city, which throughout its rich history was mainly influenced by the Romans and the Umayyads and is home to the Al Hambra Palace, we will see the Columbus Monument, Grand Via, La Rambla, and the City Hall Square among the historical Andalusian/Granada streets with works remaining from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods. Free time after the city tour. Guests who wish may join our extra Al Hambra Palace Tour program (65 Euro). We visit the Al Hambra Palace, one of the most extraordinary memories not only of Andalusia but of the entire Islamic history, famous for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens, and included on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. On the opposite slope of Al Hambra, in Sacramonte, one of Granada’s oldest settlements with its white houses and labyrinthine, winding, steep, and stair-lined streets, where from every opening we can watch and photograph the red walls of Al Hambra Palace from afar, we watch the Gypsy Show. GRANADA – (Ronda Tour) – SEVILLE – (Flamenco Show Tour)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Seville. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Ronda Tour (50 Euro) program. Ronda, with its narrow winding streets and lime-white painted houses, is divided into two by the El Tajo Canyon, and is famous for being built on a sandy hill. At the bottom of the canyon, 120 meters deep, the Guadalevin River flows. The Puento Nuevo (New Bridge), Plaza De Toros, Old Town, St. Maria la Mayor Church, and Mondragon Palace are among the places we can see panoramically during our city tour, where we can photograph the river’s most beautiful views. After the tour, we continue our journey to Seville. Upon arrival in Seville, we organize our city tour. The most crowded and developed city in Andalusia, Seville owes its exotic and rich cultural history to the period when it was under the dominance of the Moors, the North African Muslims in its history. We explore Seville surrounded by beautiful and magnificent cathedrals, squares, palaces, museums, towers, and churches. During our tour, Plaza de Espana (Spain Square), where some scenes of Star Wars 2 were filmed, Torro del Oro (Golden Tower), an octagonal structure originally built for defense but later also used as a prison, the Seville Cathedral and Giralda Bell Tower, which is the 3rd largest Gothic cathedral in the world and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987, and Maria Luisa Park are among the panoramic sights. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Cordoba. Upon arrival in Cordoba, we discover Cordoba, founded during the Roman Empire and the largest city in Europe under Islamic rule in the 10th century. In our city tour in the city center, which still shows Islamic influences and was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1984, the 1000-year-old Kurtuba Mosque-Cathedral, Roman Bridge, St. Nicola Church, and Jewish Quarter are among the panoramic sights. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart to take our Madrid city tour. The capital of the Kingdom of Spain and also the third largest city in the European Union, Madrid is regarded as the country’s political, economic, and cultural center. During the city tour we will carry out in Madrid, where statues, monuments, and natural beauty blend with modern architecture, Plaza Mayor, Paseyo de la Castellana, the bullring, Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace, and Puerto de Alcala are among the panoramic sights. After the free time offered at the end of the Madrid city tour, we depart for Porto. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Salamanca Tour program (50 Euro). Salamanca, in the northwest of Spain, built on the banks of the Tormes River and home to Spain’s first and Europe’s most ancient university, Salamanca University, with its ancient historical riches stretching from the Carthaginians to the Romans, is an active cultural, trade, and tourism city. After the sightseeing tour we will conduct in Salamanca, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 together with its historical and cultural riches, and a short free time at Plaza Mayor, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, we continue toward Porto. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Porto city center. Upon arrival in the city center, during our panoramic city tour, the 1st Dom Luis Bridge and the Douro River, designed by Gustave Eiffel, after whom the Eiffel Tower was named, Porto Ribeira, Porto and San Francesco Cathedrals, Porto Square and Lion Fountain, Freedom Square, Sao Bento Train Station, which is associated with its blue-and-white ceramic mosaics, and Bolsa Palace are among the sights to be seen. After the city tour, we depart for Lisbon. En route, guests who wish may join the extra Obidos Tour program (50 Euro). After the Obidos Tour, we depart for Lisbon. We head to Lisbon city center to organize our city tour. Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and, like Istanbul, a city with two sides, is also Europe’s 6th most visited city throughout the year. Lisbon, governed throughout history under the domination of the Phoenicians, Romans, North African Muslims, and finally the Portuguese, with this history dating back to 1200 BC, hosts many historical monuments. During the tour we will conduct in Lisbon, the city’s historic district with Rossio Square and St. Georges Castle, and the Santa Justa Lift are among the main sights. After the city tour, we offer free time in the city center. As the tour continues, the Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, built during the age of geographical discoveries and carrying symbolic significance for Portugal, will be seen and there will be free time for a photo break. Then, Avenida de Liberdade, known as Lisbon’s Champs Elysees and famous for its cafés, quality shops, and restaurants, is among the places to see, and we will have the opportunity to discover the city of Lisbon from different angles. On our tour, we join a Fado Show where we listen to Fado music, unique to Portugal, which emerged from the emotional and sorrowful laments of sailors’ wives and became world-famous. LISBON – (Greater Lisbon & Atlantic Coasts and Outlet Tour) – ANKARA
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we offer free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the extra Greater Lisbon & Atlantic Coasts and Outlet Tour program (95 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be the town of Sintra. Sintra will welcome us with its boutique shops, colorful and ornate houses resembling palaces, and cobblestone streets. However, the most important feature that led the town to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List is its architectural monuments and buildings from the Romantic Period. After our Sintra tour through the streets and avenues surrounded by palaces and churches, our next stop will be Cabo da Roca, called “The End of the World” and the westernmost point of the European continent. After a short break for you to take photos of the famous beaches, a favorite spot for the ocean and surfers, we continue our tour with panoramic sightseeing in Cascais, a fishing town, and Estoril, one of the most famous resorts known as Lisbon’s backyard, with its SPA and thermal hotels, parks and golf courses, and also famous for the Casino sections of the first Bond novel, Casino Royal. At the end of the tour, we join our Outlet Tour program. After our visit to the outlet center, which offers visitors a pleasant and affordable shopping experience with many prestigious brands’ stylish stores, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we continue our journey to the airport.
