Those who wish can join the “Hellesylt & Geiranger Tour” organized as an extra by our guide. Two enchanting villages at the fork at the end of Storfjord. Once the postal ports of the north, and now among Norway’s favorite cruise ports in the north due to the difficulty of land access, with an annual average of 180 ship visits. We start our tour by greeting Hellesylt Waterfall... Its first definition was the postal route going north, now a tourism center. First, we go to the viewpoint where we will see Hellesylt fjord and photograph the fjord from there, then continue on our way. The pregnancy stone and the stone bridge from the 1800s are our first stop. Then we go to Hornindal Lake, the deepest lake in Europe, and stop there. After setting off again, our next stop is Stryn, one of the liveliest towns in the region. After seeing the stone bridge in Stryn, where the royal family comes especially for fishing, free time will be given for your shopping and coffee/meal. Then, after a break at the foot of Lake Djupvatnet, if the weather is good, you will be amazed by the view you will see from the terrace of Dalsnibba Mountain at 1476 m. Afterwards, we will stop at the Flydal viewing platform and this time photograph Geiranger fjord. At the end of our tour we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on the ship. Those who wish can join the “Trollstigen and Alesund Panoramic Tour” organized as an extra by our guide. From the meeting point, the bus will take you through the beautiful area outside Ålesund to the land of trolls. This part of Møre og Romsdal is especially known for its furniture industry. The road from Sjøholt along the Storfjord will take you via Stordal and its Rose Church (built in 1789) to Valldal, famous for its delicious strawberries. The next stop will be at the breathtaking Gudbrandsjuvet, a 5 m narrow and 20–25 m deep valley. You can walk across a bridge from one side of the gorge to the other. From here, the bus will head from Reinheimen National Park to the Trollstigen plateau. As we descend Troll Road, the driver will safely navigate the bus through 11 sharp turns. At the lower part of Troll Road, there will be an extra photo stop where you can take the best pictures of Stigfossen. Next is a visit to the Troll Wall / Trollveggen, the highest vertical rock face in Europe. After this stop it is time to return to Ålesund.
