ISTANBUL – BRUSSELS – LUXEMBOURG
Arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight, and after baggage drop, check-in, and passport control, we fly to Brussels at 11:05 on AJet Airlines scheduled flight VF65. Upon arrival at Brussels Airport at 12:45 local time, we depart with our vehicle waiting at the airport to organize our Luxembourg city tour. According to IMF and World Bank data, Luxembourg ranks as the world leader in terms of per capita income. The capital city, which shares the same name as the country, Luxembourg, is protected on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and is the only city that has succeeded in becoming the European Capital of Culture twice, in 1995 and 2007. After our city tour in Luxembourg, one of Europe’s smallest countries in terms of area, we head to our hotel in the Luxembourg region. LUXEMBOURG – (Strasbourg Tour) – (Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – ALSACE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for our hotel in the Alsace region. En route, guests who wish may join the extra Strasbourg program (50 Euro). Located on the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg will welcome us like something out of a fairy tale, with a beauty like a painting. Included on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and home to the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s pedestrianized center and streets will be explored on foot during our city tour; among the places we will see are Petite France, famous for its Alsace Houses that make us feel in the very heart of a fairy-tale land, Gutenberg Square and Statue, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in its very heart, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city, which continues to serve today as a hotel and restaurant. During the free time after the tour, guests who wish may join the extra Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour program (80 Euro). First, we will go to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and Petite Venise (Little Venice), the city’s most famous area with colorful houses around the Rhine River. In the unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will find the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as purchase many souvenirs. Our next stop will be Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to cars, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés; with its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which carries the city’s story to the present day with documents, it is a village straight out of Grimm’s fairy tales. After the tour, following the free time given, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Alsace region. Upon arrival at our hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
ALSACE – (Bern & Gruyeres Tour) – LAUSANNE – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for Lausanne. En route, guests who wish may join the extra Bern & Gruyeres Tour (70 Euro). We first arrive in Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained completely unchanged since the Middle Ages. Because of this historical fabric, it is included on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Located within the borders of Switzerland and with German as its official language, Bern also reflects the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our city tour in Bern, built around the Aare River, we depart for Gruyeres. Selected as Switzerland’s most beautiful village in 2014 and the birthplace of the world-famous Gruyère cheese, Gruyères is a fairy-tale village with flower-decorated houses and streets, preserving its medieval character intact to this day, giving its name to the region and the region’s world-famous cheese. Located in the upper valley of the Saane River, on a hill at an altitude of 800 meters, and without vehicle traffic, this village is known not only for its cheese but also for Switzerland’s famous dish fondue. After the scenic tour we will offer in Gruyères, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Lausanne. Upon arrival in Lausanne, we conduct our city tour. Lausanne holds a very important place in our national history because it hosted the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne on July 24, 1923; it is also one of the important episcopal centers of the Middle Ages. With its medieval castles, D’Ouchy Castle, palaces, cathedrals, and museum buildings, Lausanne takes its visitors deep into history, and its location on the shores of Lake Geneva further enhances its charm. After the sightseeing tour in Lausanne, we depart to organize our Geneva city tour. Known as the “French city of Switzerland” and located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Geneva is an impressive city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations (CERN, World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, United Nations) in Geneva places the city at a central position culturally and administratively. During our tour in Geneva, where museums, parks, historic monuments and streets, and fresh air meet, the main places to be seen are St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain that has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Monument. After our city tour in Geneva, we head to our hotel in the Alsace region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
GENEVA – (High-Speed Train Linked Outlet Tour to Paris) – PARIS
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, transfer to our hotel in the Paris region. Guests who wish may participate in the extra Geneva – Paris High-Speed Train Linked Outlet Tour (95 Euro) program. In this program, we first reach Paris from Geneva in about 3 hours by high-speed train, enjoying a comfortable journey. Upon arrival at the train station in Paris, we begin our tour accompanied by our guide. (On this tour, which will be organized depending on sufficient participant numbers, the tour guide will accompany the guests who purchased the High-Speed Train Linked Outlet Tour program and will travel with them to Paris by high-speed train.) We offer free time at the outlet center, which provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy and experience pleasant and affordable shopping with the stylish stores of many prestigious brands it houses, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas. After the free time we provide, we complete our tour and head to our hotel in the Paris region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we provide room assignment and free time to rest.
PARIS – (Paris Phenomena Tour and Seine River Boat Tour) – (Paris Icons Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Paris Phenomena and Seine River Boat Tour (85 Euro). We begin our Paris Phenomena tour with the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris and even France. Built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Paris Exposition Universelle, this structure of steel and iron was nearly demolished, but after attracting great interest from tourists during and after the 1889 World’s Fair, it was spared and has remained standing to this day. We provide free time around the Eiffel Tower for photos and sightseeing. During this free time, guests who wish may go up to the 2nd floor of the tower, which consists of 3 sections (floors) and is reached by elevator to each section, to enjoy Paris’s unique view and take beautiful photos (Optional Eiffel Tower elevator ascent fee is 23€, not included in the extra tour price). After our Eiffel tour, we organize a Seine River boat tour. (Boat tour is included in the extra tour price.) The 776 km long Seine River, one of the world’s best-known rivers, divides the city into two. During the tour on long boats moving gently along the river, we will see many of Paris’s famous buildings and the 37 bridges over the river from a unique angle. After our Seine River excursion, passing via the Invalides (Veterans) Square route, we panoramically view Lady Diana Memorial, Palais Royal, the 17th-century royal entertainment center, and the Comédie-Française Square, where many historical buildings including the French State Theater are located, and reach the BENLUX Store, the international center of Paris fashion with its perfumes since 1959, where we provide free time for shopping and sightseeing. Guests who wish may visit the Louvre Museum, which was built as a fortress for defensive purposes in the Middle Ages but began to be used as a museum after the French Revolution, and which was visited by nearly 10 million people in 2012, after the photo break we will give at the Louvre Museum (Optional Louvre Museum entrance fee is 33€, not included in the extra tour price). Free time in the city center after the tour. In the evening, guests who wish may join the extra Paris Icons Tour (65 Euro) program. On our tour, we will first go to Montmartre Hill, known as the “Painters’ Hill,” where bohemian life still continues today, thanks to street painters and caricaturists and the work of many famous painters, and which forms the highest point of Paris. After visiting the Sacré-Cœur Basilica on top of this 130-meter hill (funicular transportation fee is included in the extra tour price), we will have free time for a portrait in the painters’ square and for sightseeing. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel.
PARIS – (Bruges Tour) – BRUSSELS – AMSTERDAM
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Brussels. En route, guests who wish may join the extra Bruges Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of Belgium” because of its houses located in the water and its streets made up of canals, Bruges is known as a dream city. The city’s historical structure and medieval architecture, which fortunately suffered no damage during World War II, have survived to the present day. The single-story houses with colorful roofs that appear before us in the city square, resembling cakes, along with churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets, will draw us into a fairy tale. After our city tour in Bruges, we continue our journey to Brussels. Upon arrival in Brussels, we conduct our city tour. Brussels, considered both the EU and European capital because it hosts many institutions related to Belgium as well as the European Union and NATO, is a city that has successfully preserved many historical artifacts throughout history. After our city tour in Brussels, where the Grand Place, one of Europe’s most famous and lively squares, and Gothic-style historic venues with their architectural texture are located, we set off for Amsterdam. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Amsterdam region, room assignment and free time to rest.
AMSTERDAM – (Amsterdam Icons Tour) – (Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the extra Amsterdam Icons Tour (55 Euro) program. On our tour, the Dam Square, Royal Palace, and Central Station are among the main places to be seen. After our tour, in which we will discover the city from different angles by walking through Amsterdam’s local neighborhoods and narrow streets, famous for its walking paths and canals, and visit its world-famous streets, we offer free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the extra Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills Tour (75 Euro) program. We first arrive in Volendam. In this fishing town, we complete our program with a walking tour on the streets surrounded by well-kept and beautiful houses and along the waterfront road full of restaurants and cafés, and then move on to Zaandam. Located in the north of the country by the Zaan River, Zaandam is among the favorites of Instagram influencers with its modern shopping opportunities and the feature of being an open-air museum where historic traditional green Zaan houses meet. After the sightseeing tour and free time we will offer in Zaandam, which bears the distinction of being the site of the first McDonald’s restaurant in Europe, we move on to Zaanse Schans, our tour’s final stop. With its windmills, museums, nature, and culture, this historic town is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Netherlands. After our Zaanse Schans visit, where we will see windmills used today in paint and oil production as well as shops where handcrafted souvenirs such as wooden clogs can be found, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Amsterdam region. (Entrance fees to the historical site are included in the extra tour price. The optional entrance fee to the Zaanse Schans museum is 15€ and is not included.)
AMSTERDAM – BRUSSELS – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Brussels Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after baggage drop, check-in, and passport control, we fly to Istanbul at 13:45 on AJet Airlines scheduled flight VF66. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 19:10 local time and end of our tour.
