Denizli, Pamukkale Travertines, Hierapolis Ancient City, Serinhisar, Salda Lake, Serinhisar Chickpea Bazaar, Lake Burdur, Afyon Kolaylı Facilities

On the 4th day of our Bozcaada Ayvalık Çeşme Pamukkale Salda Lake Tour, after breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart for Pamukkale. We start the day by visiting the Ancient City of Hierapolis. 2,000 years ago, the Kingdom of Pergamon could not resist this attraction either and built the City of Hierapolis next to the travertines. During this period, Hierapolis served as a thermal health center, and its waters, believed to be healing, have been visited for thousands of years by people coming from different parts of Anatolia in search of health and beauty. Even today, thermal pools continue to be visited in the pursuit of beauty and health. You too can enter the waters where the people of the ancient world swam thousands of years ago and watch the magnificent view of the travertines. In the Ancient City, which has distinct traces and features at every point, after listening carefully to our guide’s explanations and completing the visits to the Bath Building Necropolis Area, the Domitian Gate and Latrine Building on the Main Street, the Temple of Apollo, and the Plutonium (the cave of hell), known as the entrance gate to hell, we reach the Pamukkale Travertines, which fascinate with their pure white texture. After our guide’s information and the free time given to enter the travertine pools, we leave the Travertines. Before leaving the region, we have our lunch. After our meal break, we give you free time to shop for gifts for our loved ones at the famous textile factory outlet of Denizli, renowned for its textiles, and at Serinhisar Chickpea Bazaar, known as the “Capital of Chickpeas,” which meets 80% of Turkey’s chickpea demand. After our free time, when we arrive at Salda Lake, the Maldives of Turkey, in this blue paradise that greets us, you can also swim depending on the weather conditions. After spending plenty of time at Salda Lake, we begin our return journey. In the evening hours, we drop off our valued guests at the points where we picked them up and bid farewell, looking forward to seeing you at our next itctur.com organization, and complete our tour.
