DAY 1: ISTANBUL – DELHI 20:50

The great journey begins. Meeting with Ejder Tourism representatives at Istanbul Airport. An overnight journey into the heart of India with THY’s comfortable flight.

DAY 2: DELHI: LAYERS OF HISTORY

Arrival in Delhi with the first light of morning. After settling into the hotel and taking a short rest, we immerse ourselves in Delhi’s chaos and beauty.05:15

Old Delhi: Visit the massive Jama Masjid built by Shah Jahan, followed by a tour through the spice-scented narrow streets of Chandni Chowk market by rickshaw.

New Delhi: Wide boulevards bearing traces of the British era, India Gate, and the Parliament Building.

DAY 3: DELHI – JAIPUR: ENTERING THE PINK CITY

After breakfast, we depart by road for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Along the way, we witness rural life in India.

Evening: Free time in Jaipur’s famous textile and handicraft bazaars.

DAY 4: JAIPUR: THE SPLENDOR OF RAJASTHAN

Amber Fort: Ascend this massive hilltop fort like royalty on elephants or jeeps. We will lose ourselves in the shimmer of the Mirror Palace (Sheesh Mahal).

Hawa Mahal: Photo stop in front of the famous "Palace of Winds" with its 953 windows.

City Palace & Jantar Mantar: We see the giant sundials and astronomical instruments in person.

DAY 5: JAIPUR – ABHANERI – AGRA

Today our route heads toward the city of love.

Abhaneri: Along the way, we visit the Chand Baori stepwell, a 8th-century giant well with 3,500 steps. We witness an architectural marvel.

Arrival in Agra: Hotel check-in in the evening.

DAY 6: AGRA: THE WHITE MARBLE OF LOVE

Taj Mahal at Sunrise: As the first rays of the sun touch the white marble, we visit this masterpiece, one of the seven wonders of the world. This monument of love, built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, will take your breath away.

Agra Fort: We explore the massive red fort that served as the residence of the Mughal emperors.

DAY 7: AGRA – JHANSI – ORCHHA – KHAJURAHO

In the morning, we take the high-speed train (Shatabdi Express) to Jhansi.

Orchha: We tour the palaces and temples in this mysterious medieval town on the banks of the Betwa River.

Evening: Arrival in Khajuraho.

DAY 8: KHAJURAHO – VARANASI (flight)

Khajuraho Temples: With our guide, we discover the world-famous stone carvings with erotic scenes in this UNESCO heritage site.

Flight: In the afternoon, we take a short flight to Varanasi, India’s spiritual capital.

DAY 9: VARANASI: THE SOUL OF THE GANGES

Sunrise & Boat Tour: We glide along the Ganges River in boats during the quiet of the morning. We watch the worshippers and cremation ceremonies on the riverbanks (ghats).

Sarnath: A peaceful park and monastic area where Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment.

Evening: Aarti Ceremony: We witness the mesmerizing fire ceremony performed on the riverbank amid hundreds of lamps and hymns.

DAY 10: VARANASI – DELHI (flight)

In the morning, a final discovery tour through Varanasi’s narrow streets (gully) and contact with the local people. Then transfer to the airport and flight to Delhi.

Qutub Minar: The massive brick minaret, one of India’s first Islamic monuments.

Lotus Temple: Visit this temple of silence, one of the finest examples of modern architecture.

Farewell Dinner: A special dinner on the last night of our tour featuring India’s famous flavors.

DAY 12: DELHI – ISTANBUL

Early morning transfer and return to Istanbul with the THY flight departing at 07:00. Arrival at 11:35 and the end of this fairy-tale tour.
