We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before the flight to complete ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures, then fly to Bologna at 12:40 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1217. After arriving in Bologna at 14:20 local time, we head to our hotel in the Rome region by our private bus waiting for us. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Siena Tour (50 Euro). Siena is famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After an enjoyable tour in Siena, where we will see Campo Square and the historic narrow streets leading to it, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room check-in and free time to rest.
Rome – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its mountain strawberries and therefore called the “Strawberry Village,” Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing walk in Nemi, where narrow streets open onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley view blends with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, known as Urbs caput mundi, or “the city at the center of the world,” offering art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles stretching from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by competing architects attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome carries even these crowds without overwhelming the visitor, with all its beauty and elegance. On our tour of the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, the former symbol of the city and ancient theater that hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, which was the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that anyone who throws in a coin will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo will be among the panoramic sights. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Starting with views of Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the world’s smallest country by area. We offer free time at San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come each year to worship and gather, and where, on special occasions, the Pope appears from his residence to greet the public, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel almost like residents of the city, the areas of Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto, with their cafés, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops, offer the true Italian atmosphere, alongside their natural beauty and simplicity; the ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by two bridges, will also be seen panoramically. After our walk through the narrow, labyrinth-like back streets with small tables set out, we complete the tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
Rome – (Naples Tour) – (Sorrento, the Pearl of Amalfi or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – Rome
After breakfast, within the full day at leisure, guests who wish may join the optional Naples Tour (40 Euro). On our tour after arriving in Naples, sights include Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the Naples tour, within the free time provided, guests who wish may join the optional Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). Starting with lunch at a local restaurant, we visit Pompeii, which lies at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79 AD destroyed the city; thanks to archaeologists’ long excavations in 1748, the city was revealed in all its vitality. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. Or guests who wish may join the optional Sorrento Tour, the Pearl of Amalfi (80 Euro). After our city tour and surrounding excursion in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, famous for its small tourist boutiques, stunning beaches, breathtaking views, and its Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, and admired by visitors for combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, we offer free time. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
Rome – (San Gimignano Tour) – (Florence Masterpieces and Pisa Tour) – Florence
After breakfast and check-out, we head to our hotel in the Florence region where we will stay. En route, guests who wish may join the optional San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano, which has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day and has earned a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to the 14 architectural wonder towers that survived out of 76 towers following wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing in San Gimignano’s narrow streets, where time seems to have stood still and visitors feel as though they have taken a journey back to the Middle Ages, and in its squares where we can panoramically see the 14 magnificent towers, each opening onto the town square, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Florence region. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Florence Masterpieces and Pisa Tour (95 Euro). First, in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and Pinocchio’s hometown, on our city tour we will first see from the outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, which immediately draws attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is its bronze door, called the “Gate of Paradise,” on which scenes from the stories of prophets, some of whom are mentioned in the Qur’an as well, are depicted. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Piazza della Signoria, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and also houses Michelangelo’s famous David, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and goldsmith shops, will be among the sights. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region on Italy’s Ligurian coast, known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes running parallel to the shore, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transportation between villages via walking routes and train connections. After our sightseeing and tour in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, we continue our journey to Milan. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino, which has inspired songs with all its beauty, charms visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean views. Milan – (Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour) – (Lugano Tour) – (Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, within the free time provided, guests who wish may join the optional Milan Masterpieces (55 Euro) and Como Tour (50 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Milan. One of Europe’s fashion capitals, Milan also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and finance capital, Milan is also the right place for shopping and dining experiences; during our tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main sights. At the end of the Milan Masterpieces Tour, we arrive in Como. On our tour after arrival, we visit Lake Como, which hosts summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and is famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will have a photo stop accompanied by the lake’s unique view. After the free time in Como, guests who wish, and only for our guests joining the Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour, may join the optional Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro). On our tour, we will take a peaceful walk along Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland, which will captivate us with its unique nature, wonderful views, and city park, and we will enjoy the extraordinary scenery while photographing the beautiful landscape. At the end of the tour, we begin our return journey to our hotel in the Milan region. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Outlet Tour (35 Euro). After the pleasant free time we will offer at the outlet center, which hosts the stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas, for affordable and quality shopping, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Milan region.
Milan – (Verona Tour) – Venice – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set off toward our hotel in the Venice region. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and the famous work Romeo and Juliet, written by the renowned English writer Shakespeare and telling the world’s greatest love story known today. After our panoramic sightseeing walk, during which we will see the Verona Cathedral, Via Mazzini (the main square), and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafés, and stores, we complete our tour and continue our journey to the hotel in the Venice region. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat (125 Euro – Vaporetto transport fees included). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see the main iconic structures such as San Marco Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul; San Marco Basilica; the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of splendor and power; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs; and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, and then we will take an enjoyable walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we organize our Colorful Islands program. Venice – Istanbul
After breakfast and hotel check-out, at the time indicated by our guide, we head to Venice Airport for our flight to Istanbul. After arrival at the airport, we complete baggage drop, ticket, and passport control procedures, then fly to Istanbul at 14:55 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1236. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:20 local time and the end of the tour.
