We meet at 05:00 at the international terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart at 08:20 for Bucharest Airport on Turkish Airlines flight TK1053. Upon arrival at 08:30 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. In the city, which is divided into Upper Town (Gronji Grad) and Lower Town (Donji Grad), places to be seen include Zrinjevac Park, Bogoviceva Street, which we could call the Independence of Zagreb, Ban Jelacic Square, referred to as the city’s main square and heart, the large Dolac Market, Zagreb Cathedral, built in the early 1200s and notable for its ornate architecture and two towers, Skalinska Street, Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Church with its distinctive roof dating back to the 13th century, and the popular shopping street Ilica.
