After completing your ticketing and baggage procedures 3 hours before the flight at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, we fly to London at 07:55 with Turkish Airlines’ direct scheduled flight TK1981. After arriving at London Gatwick Airport at 09:55 local time, we depart with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport to Cambridge, one of England’s most established university cities. Founded in the 13th century, the city, which is one of the important centers in the history of world academia with the University of Cambridge, stands out with its historic colleges, orderly street layout, and calm atmosphere. During our Cambridge city tour, we will view King’s College Chapel, one of the most impressive examples of Gothic architecture, panoramically. Then we will also see university buildings such as Trinity College, St John’s College, and Clare College panoramically. The walking paths along the River Cam and the bridges that have become one of the city’s symbols are among the places to be seen during our panoramic city tour. After free time for a photo break and a city walk, we set off for Glasgow. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Edinburgh Tour program (80 GBP). The city, Scotland’s capital, stands out with its unique identity that combines historic and modern structures. We begin our tour by proceeding along the Royal Mile in the old town section, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List; then Edinburgh Castle, which dominates the city, will be seen panoramically. During our city tour in Glasgow, George Square, considered the heart of the city, Glasgow Cathedral, university buildings that attract attention with their historic texture, and the city skyline along the River Clyde are among the places to be seen panoramically. Continuing our tour, we will observe Glasgow’s development from past to present by passing through streets and shopping districts that reflect the city’s modern face. After a short photo break and free time, we complete our Glasgow city tour and set off for Liverpool. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Lake Windermere and Boat Tour program (65 GBP). In our tour, we reach the Lake District National Park region, one of England’s most impressive natural beauties. This unique geography, surrounded by hills, valleys, and lakes containing every shade of green, stands out as one of the country’s most important natural areas. LONDON – (London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour)
After breakfast, within the full day free time that will be provided, guests who wish may join our extra London Icons and Thames River Boat Tour program (145 GBP). In our tour, we first reach Greenwich, one of London’s most characteristic areas. In our tour, where we will see the Royal Observatory located in Greenwich Park and the point through which the Prime Meridian passes, we will see the historic structures of the region, the park area, and the view of the River Thames panoramically. Then we move on for our boat tour on the River Thames. During this enjoyable journey starting from Greenwich and extending to Westminster, we will have the chance to see London’s iconic structures such as Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, and The Shard from the river panoramically. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we provide free time until our return flight to Istanbul in the evening. In our tour, we first depart for Oxford, home to one of the world’s most established universities. In the city, which has been the center of academic life for centuries, we tour the city center among university colleges, historic courtyards, and libraries. During our city tour, Radcliffe Camera, one of the city’s symbols, Bodleian Library, and university buildings are among the places to be seen panoramically. The college buildings that inspired the Harry Potter film series and in which some scenes were shot are also among the noteworthy points during our tour. After free time for a short walk and photo break in the historic streets, we head to our next visit point, Bicester Village, one of England’s most famous outlet shopping centers. At Bicester Village, we provide free time so you can shop in the stores of world-famous brands. Studios where the Harry Potter film series was shot. During our visit, we see iconic set pieces remembered from the films such as the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and the Hogwarts Express. We also learn about how special effects are created, how sets are designed, and details about the filmmaking process. Continuing our tour, we have the opportunity to examine the original costumes, accessories, and set designs displayed in the studio, experiencing the visual world of the Harry Potter universe more closely.
