LARNACA – MALTA – (Malta Pearls: Sliema & Valletta Tour)
We fly to Malta at 11:10 on Emirates Airlines flight EK109 after baggage drop-off, ticket, and passport control procedures at the International Terminal of Cyprus Larnaca Airport, to be carried out 3 hours before the flight. After arriving at Malta Airport at 13:00 local time, we transfer to our hotel in the Malta region with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in to the rooms and free time to rest. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra tour program, Malta Pearls: Sliema & Valletta Tour (45 Euro). In our Sliema and Valletta tour, which stand out as “the two most elegant cities of the Mediterranean,” we set out to discover the unique atmosphere that brings Malta’s historical texture together with modern life. Throughout history, Malta has hosted many civilizations, from the Phoenicians to the Romans, from the Arabs to the Knights of St. John, and offers visitors an unforgettable experience with its magnificent walls, baroque architecture, and unique shores extending into the Mediterranean. First on our tour, we will explore Sliema, one of Malta’s most vibrant areas, with its seaside promenades, stylish marina, and enchanting Mediterranean views. Then we head to the capital Valletta, where we begin our walking tour from the city gate; Parliament House, the ruins of the Royal Opera House, Triton Fountain, Upper Barrakka Gardens, Auberge d'Italie, Palazzo Parisio, National War Museum, St. John's Co-Cathedral, and Grandmaster's Palace will be among the panoramic sights we see. In this tour, where we will experience history, culture, and the unique atmosphere of the Mediterranean together, we will have the opportunity to enjoy pleasant moments in the lively streets of the city while discovering Malta’s rich heritage from past to present. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel in the Malta region.
MALTA – (Siracusa Tour) – CATANIA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Malta port for our ferry journey to Catania. Following customs and check-in procedures, we take the ferry for a sea journey of approximately 2 hours to Pozzallo port. Upon arrival in Pozzallo, we set off to organize our Catania city tour. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Siracusa Tour (40 Euro). In our tour, we head to Siracusa. This unique fishing city, whose foundation dates back to the colonies of the Ancient Greek era, has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its location and historical features. After our visit to Siracusa, known as the city of Archimedes, we continue our journey to Catania. Upon arrival in Catania, we organize our city tour. Catania is a Sicilian city located at the foot of Mount Etna and stands out with its baroque architecture. We begin our city tour by heading toward the central area. First, Piazza Duomo, the main square of Catania, and the Elephant Statue (Fontana dell’Elefante), which has become the symbol of the square, are among the panoramic sights. We will see Catania Cathedral located around the square. With its exterior and location, this structure reflects the city’s historical texture and is one of the most important stops in the center. Then our tour continues along Via Etnea; along this route, we will see the regular city plan, examples of baroque architecture, and the panoramic line extending toward Etna. We will take short photo breaks at certain points along the route. Later in the program, we observe Piazza Università and the historical buildings around it panoramically. During our walk, we will make a general observation about the city’s baroque street texture and square layout. At the end of the city tour, we head to our hotel in the Catania region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in to the rooms and free time to rest.
CATANIA – (Palermo & Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra program, Palermo & Outlet Tour (85 Euro). First in our tour, we depart to visit the outlet center. In our visit to the outlet center, which hosts stylish stores of the world’s and Italy’s most prestigious brands that shape the fashion trend, as well as cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas, we will provide pleasant free time for quality and affordable shopping. At the end of the Outlet Tour, we set off to organize our Palermo tour. Palermo is a settlement that reflects on its architecture and urban layout the influences it received from different cultures in Sicily. Traces of the Arab, Norman, Spanish, and Italian periods can be seen on the same route in the city. The structures in the historical center offer important examples that carry Palermo’s multi-layered past into the present. Palermo Cathedral, Quattro Canti, which is at the intersection point of the city’s historical center and reflects the period architecture with its four-sided facade, and Piazza Pretoria, home to a large marble fountain, are among the panoramic sights. After the free time offered at the end of the city tour, we return to our hotel in the Catania region. Free time to rest.
CATANIA – (Etna & Savoca & Taormina Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra program, Etna & Savoca & Taormina Tour (85 Euro). In our “Etna, Savoca & Taormina tour, which brings together the power of nature with Sicily’s history and unique beauty,” we set out to discover one of the island’s most impressive routes. On this journey extending from the enchanting views of Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano, to historic towns that carry the atmosphere of the Middle Ages into the present, you will have the opportunity to get to know Sicily’s natural and cultural riches up close. First, on our tour, we will explore the impressive volcanic landscapes formed by lava flows on the slopes of Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano, and have a photo break. Then we head to Savoca, one of Sicily’s most authentic settlements with its narrow stone streets and historical texture. In this charming town, which hosted unforgettable scenes from the world-famous film The Godfather, we will closely experience its historical squares and unique atmosphere. At the final stop of our tour, we will discover Taormina, known as Sicily’s jewel with its dominant position overlooking the Ionian Sea. In this unique city, enchanting with its historical streets, elegant squares, boutique shops, and breathtaking sea views, we will take pleasant walks and enjoy free time. In our Ragusa Ibla tour, known as “the baroque capital of Sicily,” we set out to discover one of the island’s most enchanting cities with its narrow stone streets, historic squares, and impressive architecture. Ragusa Ibla, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers visitors a chance to travel back in time with its magnificent baroque structures rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake, elegant churches, and unique atmosphere. In our tour, the historical squares in the heart of the city and the finest examples of baroque architecture will be seen panoramically, and during our pleasant walk along the stone streets, we will have the opportunity to get to know Sicily’s authentic texture up close. Unforgettable photo breaks will be given amid historic palaces, impressive churches, and magnificent valley views offered from viewing points, and then we will enjoy free time in the city’s distinctive cafes and boutique shops. Ragusa Ibla, offering history, culture, and Sicily’s unique lifestyle together, will be remembered as one of the island’s most special stops. After the free time offered at the end of the city tour, we continue our journey to Pozzallo Port, where we will board the ferry. MALTA – (Marsaxlokk Tour) – LARNACA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for Malta Airport for our return flight to Larnaca. On the way, we organize our extra Marsaxlokk Tour (40 Euro). In our tour, we head to Marsaxlokk. In the classic Mediterranean village of Marsaxlokk, where you can see colorful fishing boats, a decorated harbor, and beautiful houses showing all the texture of Malta Island, guests who wish may shop at the organic market and in the shops. At the end of our tour, we head to Malta Airport at the time announced by our guide. After arriving at the airport and completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 14:45 on Emirates Airlines scheduled flight EK110. Arrival at Cyprus Larnaca Airport at 18:05 local time and the end of our tour.
