After our journey with our comfortable buses, we arrive in Amasya. Following the (extra) breakfast we will have in Amasya, we begin touring this beautiful city, known as the City of Princes during the Ottoman period. First, we go to see the water channels that Ferhat, in the legendary love story of Ferhat and Şirin, opened by carving through the mountains for Şirin. At the point where the water channels can be seen, we visit the Lovers Museum, which was opened by the Amasya municipality. After the Lovers Museum, we visit the Amasya Archaeology Museum, known as the mummy museum. After touring the archaeology, ethnography, fossil, and mummy sections, we visit Sultan II Bayezid Complex, one of our sultans who served as a prince in Amasya and later became an Ottoman sultan. After touring the plane trees used as lightning rods within the complex, the historic fountain where the silhouette of Istanbul was drawn for the people of Amasya who wondered about the imperial capital Istanbul in that period but could not go, the balance columns at the gate entrances, and the interior of the mosque, we visit the Miniature Amasya Museum located in the courtyard of the complex and then descend to the banks of the Yeşilırmak River. The Yeşilırmak gives life to all the regions it passes through from its source in Sivas until it flows into the sea in Samsun’s Çarşamba district. Amasya is a city located on both banks of the Yeşilırmak. Amasya, with its 18th- and 19th-century mansions from the Ottoman period, its waterfront houses lined up like pearls along the Yeşilırmak, its temple-like appearance carved into Mount Harşena by the tombs of Pontus kings of Iranian origin, and the legend of Ferhat and Şirin, will enchant you with a magnificent visual feast. After our walk in the Princes Park, we will better understand Ottoman-era life by seeing the Princes Mansion. During our free time in and around Hazeranlar Mansion, our guests who wish may go up to the King Rock Tombs. After our free time, we will visit the Bimarhane, which was used as a hospital during the Ottoman period. Following our visit to the Bimarhane, where written and visual presentations of the treatment methods used in the period are displayed, we leave Amasya city center and head up to Çakallar Hill, which has a breathtaking view from where we can see all of Amasya from above. Here, while looking down on Amasya from a bird’s-eye view, we will have the chance to sip our tea and coffee. After our free time, we head to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we head to Ballıca Cave. (If it is open to visitors on the date of our tour) We visit Ballıca Cave, which has 8 halls, is 680 meters long, and 95 meters high. Ballıca Cave is one of the largest and most magnificent caves in the world. This natural wonder continues to preserve its mystery with sections that have not yet been opened to visitors and remain undiscovered. Observing the formations in Ballıca Cave is like touring a natural museum. Ballıca Cave, whose age has been determined to be approximately 3.4 million years, not only has all the cave formations identified so far, but also carries international significance with its unique Onion Stalactites. As you walk through the sections of the cave that are open to visitors, you will feel as if you are on an exciting and mysterious journey that amazes you at every step. After our visit to Ballıca Cave, we go to the printing workshop, where we can learn about this important art that is one of the first things that comes to mind when woodblock printing in Anatolia is mentioned, in Tokat, the city that is on the verge of losing this tradition. We will receive information from the master printer about the art of Woodblock Printing, which is carried out by carving linden trees and turning them into patterns, and we will have the opportunity to make our own print. After learning the intricacies of the art of printing and having the chance to make our own print, we take our lunch break, where we can taste Tokat Kebab (optional extra). After our break, our first stop is, passing through the historic houses of Tokat, respectively the Sık Dişini Lavatory, Ulucami, the Tokat Archaeology Museum and the Tokat City Museum at the foot of Tokat Castle. In the Archaeology and city museums, where very important works from Anatolian history are exhibited, you will see the traces of modern museology. After our museum visits, we arrive at Tokat Mevlevihane. After listening to the explanations our guide will give about Mevlevi order, we tour the Mevlevihane, which is open to visitors today as a museum. Then, we move to the Historic Clock Tower nearby and take our photos. After the photo break, we arrive at Taşhan, also known as the Woodblock Makers' Bazaar. During the free time given, our guests who wish can shop at Taşhan, while those who wish can drink tea or coffee in the seating area in its courtyard. After our tea break at Taşhan, we arrive at Hattuşaş Ancient City, this important capital that was once the capital of the Hittites. On our tour of Hattuşaş Ancient City, we see the King Gate, the Sphinx Gate, the Earth Gate, the Potern, the Hieroglyphic Room, the Hittite Walls, the Great Temple and Nişantaşı in sequence. After seeing the famous Green Stone and the Great Temple, we move on to Yazılıkaya, the open-air temple of the Hittites. Here we visit chambers A and B, where the reliefs of Hittite gods are located, and then we begin our return journey to Istanbul. Following the Bolu-Adapazarı-İzmit route, we arrive in Istanbul and bid farewell by dropping you off at the points where we picked you up, hoping to see you again on another ITC TOUR organization.
