1st Day Istanbul – Basel – Strasbourg

Meeting 3 hours before the flight in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport’s international departures terminal. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Basel at 08.50 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1923. After arrival in Basel at 10.00 local time, our city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Basel, Switzerland’s third most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that contains both modern and historical textures, and although it has a small area, it has many treasures within it. During the city tour we will take in this city, the Basel Cathedral, where the tomb of the famous Renaissance writer Dutch Erasmus is located, the city’s main square Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Roi are among the sights to be seen. After our tour, we depart for Strasbourg, one of France’s most beautiful cities and the pearl of the Alsace region. While touring Strasbourg, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods. It is a place well worth seeing with its nature and historical structures from a fairy-tale land, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art. In addition, Strasbourg, which holds historical importance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written, appears as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture are blended together. Also during our city tour, Strasbourg Cathedral, the Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsace Houses are among the places to be seen. 2nd Day Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra tour of the Fairy Tale Villages of Magnificent Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr). (110 Euro) In this tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity from start to finish, the first place we will visit is Egusheim. Egusheim, which was awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard view. After our tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its historical buildings from the Middle Ages, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While wandering through Colmar’s streets, which have been preserved very well to this day, sights to be seen include St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stones, Little Venice, reminiscent of Italy’s Venice with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building adorned with faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region as a medieval town in France. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical atmosphere. In particular, the 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg castle is one of the town’s most distinctive symbols. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the center of the town, draws attention with its Gothic architecture. After that, our final stop is Riquewihr, one of Alsace’s most enchanting towns, with many half-timbered houses that give the town its charm. This historic village enchants visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and feel the medieval atmosphere by walking along the village’s old walls. After our tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. 3rd Day Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Outlet Center – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Our guests who wish may join the extra tour of Magnificent Germany Duo (Heidelberg & Baden Baden & Outlet Center). (110 Euro) In our tour, departure to our first stop, Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will take you on a journey through time as you feel the Middle Ages in every corner. Heidelberg, a calm, elegant, and refined city, will welcome you with the harmony of architecture and colors. On the city tour we will do here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle are among the places to be seen. After our tour, our second stop is Baden Baden, a place rich in countless possibilities such as a nature-filled oxygen source, a center of culture and art, thermal springs, and even Europe’s most famous casino. After touring Baden Baden, an exceptional overseas travel route that has inspired many famous writers and composers, we give free time at the outlet center where many famous brands are gathered as our final stop. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
 


4th Day Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Our guests who wish may join the extra tour of Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne). (130 Euro) Our first stop is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height. Embraced by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, this place is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the crystal-blue waters. After the fascinating walk we will make with the power of the water and its impressive view, our 2nd stop is Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historical center, striking Gothic-style churches, and historical buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping center. After our tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city located in the middle of Switzerland, at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we end our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.
 


5th Day Strasbourg – Freiburg – Basel – Istanbul

After breakfast, rooms are vacated and departure to Freiburg. Freiburg, Germany’s fourth largest city, is a medieval, history-scented city located near the Black Forest and enchanting visitors with its natural beauty. On the city tour we will do here, Münster Cathedral, one of the city’s symbols and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture, Markthalle (Covered Market), Münsterplatz (Main Square), Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz, and Gerberau are among the places to be seen. After our tour, we head to Basel Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Istanbul at 18.05 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1926. Arrival at 23.15 local time and end of our tour.
