GUIDE ADVICE
Since we will generally be walking at the places visited, please take this into consideration and come prepared, dressing according to the weather conditions (fleece/sweater, hat, sunglasses, raincoat, etc.). Choose layered clothing from thin to thick (you will sweat as you walk, and you may get cold when you stop). Your shoes should be suitable for walking (dirt, rocks, mud, water, etc.). An ankle boot or sneakers would be good. Bring a small backpack (your hands should be free during the walk). Be sure to bring spare clothing, socks, and shoes. If you have any medications, and if you are taking photos/videos, please remember to bring enough film and spare batteries. We would be happy to host you on our tours.

After meeting with you, our valued guests, at the stops we have determined at the times we have determined with ITC TOUR's luxurious and comfortable vehicles, we are starting our overnight journey for our Safranbolu Amasra Güzelcehisar Lava Columns Zonguldak Mine Museum tour. Along our route, we will stop for breakfast, which we will take extra in the morning, together with our breaks at suitable rest facilities on the road. While you, our valued guests, are having your breakfast, our guide will also accompany us. After our breakfast break, we arrive in Amasra.

Bakacak Hill - Amasra – Coppersmiths Bazaar – Amasra Castle – Güzelcehisar Basalt Columns – Safranbolu - Yörük Village.

On the 2nd day of our Safranbolu Amasra Güzelcehisar Lava Columns Zonguldak Mining Museum Tour with ITC TUR, we begin our excursion together with our guide. Taking photos at Bakacak Hill, where it is said that Fatih Sultan Mehmet uttered the words “Lala, Lala! Is this the Eye of the World” (the apple of the world’s eye), we arrive in beautiful Amasra. After visiting the Amasra Castle from the Genoese period, Fatih Mosque and Castle Masjid, which were converted from a church and date back to the Byzantine period, and the Çekiciler Bazaar (woodwork), we give you free time. Leaving this charming district behind, we head to Bartın/Güzelcehisar to see the only example in our country of lava columns, whose examples in the world are found in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and California. These lava columns were formed by the cooling and crystallization of lava. This phenomenon is seen in rare places in the world. They can reach heights of 30 meters and their diameters vary between 50–100 cm. These lava columns begin at the western end of the beach and extend along the seashore all the way to Mugada Beach. Along the shore, you can take photos in front of the lava columns from the wooden promenade. After our guide’s narration and free time, we offer an optional tour for our guests who wish to join. In order to contribute to Safranbolu tourism, we go to the Crystal Terrace (Glass Viewing Terrace), built 80 meters above the ground and 11 meters wide over Tokatlı Canyon. The glass viewing terrace, which can تحمل 75 tons and does not break even with a rocket launcher shell, consists of pores each capable of carrying 750 kilograms and 3 pieces of glass, each 3 centimeters thick. It has the capacity to carry approximately 400 people. The terrace offers us a unique view of Tokatlı Canyon. (Extra) After our optional tour, we arrive at Yörük village, formerly called Yörükan-ı Borlu, a Bektashi village where nomads who have settled into a sedentary life live. After completing our visits to the old laundry house, which is the common area of the village people, Sipahioğlu Mansion, and the village market, we arrive at our hotel and settle in; dinner and accommodation are at our hotel.
