Rest Stops
Breaks are taken at rest facilities along the route. Due to density, renovations or similar force majeure reasons, rest stops may be changed, provided that they are equivalent in terms of service quality and location.
Optional Tours and Program Flow
Night tours and optional excursions included in the tour program are organized depending on the number of participants and the availability of assigned personnel. Optional tours conducted en route may take place even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not wish to participate in the optional tour are directed by our guide to rest areas before the city entrances or to city centers. In this case, guests who agree to wait at the rest area are deemed to have participated in the tour.
Due to weather conditions, road conditions or similar reasons, the guide may make changes to the program sequence (daily visiting points or the order of days) if deemed necessary.
Go-Turkey cannot be held responsible for points that cannot be visited despite being included in the program due to force majeure (weather conditions, road conditions, density at visiting points, etc.) or because guests fail to comply with the timings given by the guide.

On our tour departing from İzmir, we continue our enjoyable journey toward the Black Sea by following the Manisa, Akhisar, Balıkesir and Bursa route. We provide a safe and comfortable journey, along with rest breaks along the way.
After our overnight journey, we arrive in Bolu in the morning. We make an energetic start to our tour with a breakfast break at the roadside rest facility.

After having breakfast at the roadside rest facility along our route in the morning, we begin the first day of exploration on our Black Sea tour. Proceeding via Gerede, we arrive at Safranbolu, which has managed to preserve its original character from the Ottoman period to the present day.
Our first stop in this historic city, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is the Safranbolu Turkish Delight Museum. Here, we learn about the production stages of traditional Safranbolu Turkish delight and offer a shopping break for guests who wish to do so.
We then climb Hıdırlık Hill, one of the city's finest viewpoints, and photograph the historic mansions and the unique cityscape.
Continuing our tour of Safranbolu, we visit Cinci Han, Cinci Turkish Bath, Kaymakamlar House, Köprülü Mehmet Pasha Mosque and Arasta Bazaar accompanied by our guide's explanations, and have the opportunity to see the finest examples of Ottoman architecture up close. During the free time provided, you can shop for local products and the famous Safranbolu Turkish delights.
After our enjoyable tour of Safranbolu, we head toward Kastamonu. During our panoramic tour in the city center, we see the Clock Tower, Şerife Bacı Monument, Republic Square and Hunchback Bridge, discovering Kastamonu's historical character through our guide's explanations.
We then pass panoramically through the district of Taşköprü, famous for its garlic, and continue our journey toward Samsun, accompanied by views of the fertile plains of the Black Sea region and the Bafra Delta.
In Samsun, the city where the National Struggle began, we first visit the Monument of Honor, followed by the Bandırma Ferry and National Struggle Open-Air Museum. After listening on site to the first steps of the War of Independence through our guide's explanations, we head to our hotel.

After enjoying an open buffet breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we continue our journey eastward along the enchanting coastal road of the Black Sea. During the short break we will take along the way, we have the opportunity to shop for Giresun hazelnuts, one of the region's finest products, and local delicacies.
After arriving in Trabzon, our first stop is the Atatürk Mansion, where Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, stayed during his visits to Trabzon and which currently serves as a museum. We tour the mansion, which draws attention with its magnificent garden and elegant architecture, accompanied by our guide's explanations, and gain an up-close look at the traces of the period.
After our tour, we have lunch in Akçaabat, renowned for its famous Akçaabat meatballs. (Extra)
Following our meal break, we take a short shopping break at a workshop where we can see the finest examples of Trabzon's traditional handicrafts: Kazaziye, Trabzon Wicker, and Telkari.
We then head toward Maçka and arrive at Altındere National Park. We visit Sumela Monastery, one of the Black Sea region's most important historical structures, built on steep cliffs rising amid lush green forests and boasting a history of approximately 1,500 years.
Accompanied by our guide's explanations, we explore the Main Rock Church, chapels, monks' rooms, and historic frescoes, and take beautiful photographs amid the unique scenery of Altındere Valley. We experience unforgettable moments in this enchanting atmosphere where nature and history intertwine.
After our visit to Sumela Monastery, we proceed along Altındere Valley to the Maçka area, transfer to shuttle vehicles at the required points, and settle into our hotel.

After enjoying an open-buffet breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we begin a new day filled with the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Black Sea region.
Our first stop is Sürmene, renowned for its handicrafts. During the short break we will take here, we will closely observe the production stages of the world-famous Sürmene knives and have the opportunity to examine and shop for these special products crafted by the skilled hands of local artisans.
We then visit one of the region's important Tea Factories to discover the journey of tea, which has become a symbol of the Black Sea region. We listen to experts explain the production stages tea goes through from the gardens to our tables, receive information about proper brewing techniques, and taste the first-harvest teas. Guests who wish may shop for local varieties of tea.
After our visit to the tea factory, we follow the coastal road and reach Borçka via Hopa. We board the minibuses waiting for us here and begin our pleasant journey toward Borçka Karagöl Nature Park, a natural wonder hidden in the foothills of the Karçal Mountains.

After lunch, we arrive at Borçka Karagöl, situated among lush green forests. After our guided tour of this enchanting lake, formed as a result of a landslide, we have free time. Guests who wish may walk around the lake, take a boat ride, or enjoy the tranquility of nature accompanied by a unique view.
After our visit to Karagöl, we return to Borçka, meet our tour vehicle, and depart for the Sarp Border Gate. Following customs procedures carried out with our passports or new-type chip-enabled identity cards, we enter Batum, the capital of Georgia's Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
During our Batum city tour, we discover the city's most important landmarks, including the Central Mosque, Turkish Street, Europe Square, Medea Statue, Poseidon Fountain, Piazza Square, Alphabet Tower, Upside-Down Restaurant, Ali & Nino Statue, and Dancing Fountains, accompanied by our guide's explanations.

After enjoying an open buffet breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we complete our border crossing procedures, re-enter our country, and set off to discover the most impressive natural beauties of the Black Sea region.
Proceeding along the magnificent landscapes stretching through the Fırtına River and Fırtına Valley, we reach Ayder Plateau, located within Kaçkar Mountains National Park and known as the "Sultan of the Plateaus."
We begin our tour of Ayder Plateau with a photography break at Gelin Tülü Waterfall, one of the symbols of the region. We take a walk in the enchanting atmosphere created by the waterfall and enjoy our free time while breathing in the pristine plateau air.
After our visit to Ayder, we board our minibuses to explore the high plateaus of the region and embark on an unforgettable journey through nature.
Our first stop is Şenyuva Village, famous for its stone houses and historic texture, and also known for being a filming location for the series "Sevdaluk". After a short photography break at the historic Şenyuva Stone Bridge, we turn our route toward Zilkale, one of the most impressive historic structures in the Black Sea region.
Built on steep rocks approximately 100 meters high, Zilkale was once used as one of the important defensive points securing the Silk Road route. We take unforgettable photographs accompanied by the magnificent view of Çat Valley and learn more about the history of the castle through our guide's explanations.
Our next stop is Palovit Waterfall, one of the most spectacular natural beauties of Çat Valley. We admire the impressive view created by the abundant waters cascading from a height of approximately 15 meters and spend our free time accompanied by the unique sounds of nature.
Later in the day, weather and road conditions permitting, we head to Pokut Plateau, one of the most impressive plateaus in the Black Sea region. We experience unforgettable moments accompanied by wooden plateau houses rising above a sea of fog and unique views of the Kaçkar Mountains.
If weather conditions are unfavorable, our program will take place at Sal Plateau, Elevit Plateau, or Çat Plateau.

Located in the middle of a valley surrounded by lush green forests and formed as a result of a landslide that occurred centuries ago, Uzungöl welcomes us with its unique nature and peaceful atmosphere. During the pleasant walk we will take around the lake, guests who wish may take photos overlooking the lake and enjoy the region's natural beauties.
We then board our minibuses and head up to the Uzungöl Observation Terrace. At this unique point, where we can watch Uzungöl from above through the clouds, we immortalize the fascinating views of the Black Sea during our photo break. We enjoy unforgettable moments accompanied by clean highland air and lush green nature.
After our visit to Uzungöl, we continue our journey toward Ordu by following the Black Sea Coastal Road. Along the way, we enjoy a pleasant journey accompanied by the unique coastal views of the Black Sea.
Upon reaching Ordu city center, we take the Boztepe Cable Car, one of the city's landmarks, up to Boztepe, located approximately 530 meters above sea level. During the cable car ride, we have the opportunity to admire the magnificent views of the Black Sea and Ordu from above.
During our free time in Boztepe, you can enjoy the panoramic city view and savor this unique atmosphere while sipping your tea or coffee. As one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Black Sea, Boztepe offers photography enthusiasts the opportunity to capture unforgettable moments.
After our enjoyable visit to Boztepe, we depart for Fatsa and check in to our hotel.

After having an open buffet breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we leave our hotel and begin our return journey. Proceeding via Samsun, we bid farewell to the Black Sea coast and turn our route toward Amasya, distinguished by its historical and cultural richness.
Our first stop in this historic city, built on both banks of the Yeşilırmak River and once home to Ottoman princes, is the Amasya Archaeology Museum, one of Anatolia's most important museums. We learn from our guide about the archaeological artifacts, ethnographic collections, and world-famous Ilkhanid Period mummies displayed in the museum, bearing witness to the region's thousands of years of history.
We then visit the Sultan Bayezid II Complex, one of the finest examples of Ottoman architecture. Accompanied by our guide's explanations, we closely examine the complex's mosque, fountain, historic plane trees, and architectural details, discovering the historical significance of the structure.
Continuing our tour, we descend to the banks of the Yeşilırmak River and enjoy a pleasant walk alongside the historic Yalı Boyu Houses stretching along the river. These elegant mansions, surviving from the Ottoman period to the present day, form one of Amasya's most beautiful views.
During our walk, we learn from our guide about Mount Harşena, one of the city's symbols; the Rock Tombs of the Pontic Kings, carved into the mountain's slopes; the legendary story of Ferhat and Şirin; and Princes Park, experiencing Amasya's historic atmosphere up close.
