    Important Information About Tours Including Flights

  • On tours including flights, all procedures related to flights are subject to the provisions of the airline agreement.
  • Cancellation insurance does not cover air transportation.
  • A tiered pricing system is applied; the advertised prices start from the lowest class.
  • Economy class flights are used in tour programs including flights.
  • Flight tickets are issued together as round-trip tickets. If the outbound flight is not used, the return flight also becomes invalid in accordance with the airlines’ “sequential use” rule. Therefore, participation only in the return flight is not possible.

    All museum, archaeological site and national park admission fees are the responsibility of our guests. To benefit from advantages at museums and archaeological sites where the Museum Card is valid, our guests may obtain a card from Museum Card sales points before or during the tour.

    Rest Stops

    Breaks are provided at rest facilities along the route. Due to crowding, renovation or similar force majeure reasons, rest stops may be changed provided that they are equivalent in terms of service quality and location.

    Extra Tours and Program Flow

    Night tours and extra excursions included in the tour program are organized depending on the number of participants and the availability of the assigned staff. Extra tours conducted along the route may take place even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not wish to join the extra tour will be directed by our guide to rest areas before the city entrances or to city centers. In this case, guests who agree to wait at the rest area are considered to have participated in the tour.

    Due to weather conditions, road conditions or similar reasons, the guide may change the order of the program (the visiting points during the day or the days) if deemed necessary.

    Go-Turkey cannot be held responsible for points that cannot be visited despite being included in the program due to force majeure (weather conditions, road conditions, crowding at visiting points, etc.) or because guests do not comply with the timings given by the guide.

    Health Notification

    Our guests are required to carry with them reports and information regarding any health problems they may experience during the tour, pregnancy status or medications they regularly use.

    Accommodation Information

    The hotel names specified in the program are the primary accommodation facilities. Hotels may be changed depending on availability. Upon request, information about the hotel where guests will stay is shared with them no later than 48 hours before the tour departure. If the hotel is changed due to crowding or force majeure reasons, provided that the standards remain the same, our guests will be informed by Go-Turkey representatives.

    Recommendations

  • Clothing and footwear suitable for the geographical structure and weather conditions of the tour region should be preferred.
  • You are advised to bring the necessary charging equipment for taking photographs and videos.
  • Regularly used medications should not be forgotten; allergic, chronic or hereditary conditions should be reported to the guide.
  • Personal care products, a backpack and personal items that will make the journey more enjoyable should be kept with you.
  • For programs including boat tours and swimming breaks, it is recommended that you bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and similar seaside equipment.

  • Photographs are mandatory on the identity cards of children of ALL age groups entering Georgia.
  • For children under the age of 18 entering Georgia, if they are traveling with only their mother or only their father, a notarized consent form

approved by a notary must be presented.
 

GEORGIA (BATUMI – TBILISI) BORDER CROSSING INFORMATION

  1. Entry into Georgia is possible only with a new-type chip-enabled Republic of Türkiye Identity Card or passport. Old-type identity cards are not valid.
  2. The chip on identity cards must be intact and must not be broken, cracked or excessively worn. The chip on the back of the identity cards must definitely be checked.
  3. All guests, including babies and children, are required to have new-type identity cards with photographs. The Georgian authorities do not accept identity cards without photographs.
  4. The tour company is not responsible for border crossing problems that may arise due to deformation, damage or the absence of a photograph on identity cards.
  5. For guests under the age of 18 to cross into Georgia, both their mother and father must be present with them.
  6. If one of the parents is absent, a notarized consent form must be obtained from the parent who is not present.
  7. If both parents are absent, notarized consent forms from both parents are mandatory.
  8. A border fee stamp is mandatory for entry into Georgia. The border fee stamp can be obtained at the Sarp Border Gate, and the fee is paid by the guests.
  9. According to Georgian laws, no medication is permitted to be brought into the country. Legal proceedings may be initiated against persons carrying medication.
  10. For day trips, only one box of medication required for use during the day may be carried without its packaging and wrapped in paper.
  11. To bring alcohol, cigarettes and similar products from Georgia into Türkiye, guests must stay in Georgia for at least three days. Bringing these products is not permitted on day trips.
  12. Seasonal crowding may occur at the Sarp Border Gate. Therefore, there may be an early departure from the hotel in the morning or a late arrival at the hotel in the evening.
  13. Foreign nationals who entered Türkiye with a passport must have a multiple-entry Turkish visa in order to travel to Georgia and return to Türkiye.
  14. Entry requirements for Georgia may vary according to the visa agreements between Georgia and the country issuing the passport or identity card.
  15. Citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus may enter Georgia with a Republic of Türkiye identity card if they entered Türkiye with a Republic of Türkiye identity card.
  16. Citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus who entered Türkiye with a European Union passport must obtain a multiple-entry visa to be able to return to Türkiye.
  17. All guests must follow the guide’s instructions during border crossings.
  18. Border crossing procedures are entirely under the control of the official authorities of Georgia and Türkiye, and the tour company cannot be held responsible for any delays that may occur.

Trabzon – Hamsiköy – Sumela Monastery – Sürmene Knives – Uzungöl – Lustra & Karaster Highlands Tour

On the first day of our tour, as we set off on our journey to discover the greenery of the Black Sea, we will be ready at Çukurova Airport at 07:25 with our new-type chip-enabled identity cards for baggage and check-in procedures. We depart for Trabzon on Pegasus Airlines’ 09:25 flight. After arriving at Trabzon Airport at approximately 10:30, we begin our tour, where we will encounter the unique nature of the Black Sea. Our guide will meet us at the airport exit. Our first stop is Hamsiköy, famous for its lush nature and renowned rice pudding. During our short break here, our guests may sip tea and coffee, while those who wish can taste the local Hamsiköy rice pudding. Following our break, we visit Sümela Monastery, one of the most important historical structures in the Black Sea region, built on steep cliffs within Altındere National Park. After our guided visit, we proceed to our restaurant for an extra lunch break. Following lunch, we depart for Uzungöl. On the way, we stop at a knife workshop unique to Sürmene, learn about the production stages of the world-famous Sürmene knives, and offer our guests the opportunity to shop.

We then arrive at Uzungöl, accompanied by the enchanting nature of the Black Sea. We have free time in Uzungöl, located 1,090 meters above sea level and captivating visitors with its lush forests. Guests who wish may join the Lustra & Karaster Highlands Tour (Extra), which will be organized to make the most of this free time. We ascend by minibuses to the Lustra and Karaster Highlands, reaching an altitude of approximately 2,500 meters, which are among the most impressive highlands in the Black Sea region. Along the way, we have the opportunity to capture unique views during photo breaks at scenic viewpoints. Following a short walk in the highlands, you can take unforgettable photos at viewpoints offering bird’s-eye views of Uzungöl and sip tea or coffee while enjoying the peace of nature. Guests who do not join the extra tour can spend their free time around Uzungöl. After the pleasant hours we spend in Uzungöl, we depart for our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Rize Cloth Workshop – Sarp Border Gate – Makhuntseti Waterfall – Batumi City Tour – Georgian Night

After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we begin our journey accompanied by the unique nature of the Black Sea. Our first stop is the Rize Cloth Workshop, located in Rize and one of the region’s important cultural values. Here, we closely observe the production stages of Rize cloth, which is made using traditional weaving techniques, and learn about this important handicraft through our guide’s explanations. Guests who wish may also have the opportunity to shop for local products. Following our workshop visit, we proceed toward the Sarp Border Gate, and before leaving Turkey, we will take an optional lunch break at our restaurant along the way. After our break, we head to the Sarp Border Gate, the crossing point between Turkey and Georgia. Upon arriving at the customs area, we complete our departure procedures with our identity cards and cross into Georgia. The international departure fee is the responsibility of our guests. Following the border crossing procedures, we first head toward Makhuntseti Waterfall, one of the most important natural beauties of the Adjara Region. Along the way, we see the historic Makhuntseti Stone Bridge, followed by a photography and sightseeing break at Makhuntseti Waterfall, located amidst lush green nature. Following our enjoyable visit here, we arrive in Batumi, one of the Black Sea’s favorite cities. During the panoramic city tour we will take in the evening accompanied by our guide, we have the opportunity to see Gonio-Apsaros Fortress, the Statue of Poseidon, Theater Square, the Statue of Medea, Europe Square, the Statue of Ali and Nino, the Alphabet Tower and Batumi Boulevard, which have survived from the Roman period to the present day and bear traces of the Ottoman era. During this pleasant tour, where the city’s modern architecture blends with its historic texture, we will have the opportunity to get to know Batumi more closely. Following our city tour, we transfer to our hotel and settle into our rooms. Guests who wish may spend time in Batumi’s lively streets in the evening, take a walk along the coast or enjoy the city’s nighttime atmosphere. Guests who wish may also join the dinner-included Georgian Night program, organized at an additional charge, taste the flavors of Georgian cuisine and enjoy an unforgettable evening accompanied by traditional dance and music performances. Sarp Border Gate – Borçka Karagöl – Fırtına Valley – Fırtına River – Çamlıhemşin – Highland Tours

Following breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we depart from Batumi and head towards the Sarp Border Gate. After completing our customs and passport/ID procedures, we enter Turkey and join the Borçka Karagöl Tour, which will be organized as an optional extra for guests who wish to participate. After reaching Borçka, we board our minibuses and head towards Karagöl’, one of the region’s most impressive natural wonders. Formed as a result of a landslide and surrounded by dense forests, this unique natural wonder offers you the opportunity to hike, take photographs around the lake and fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Black Sea region. Guests who do not join our extra tour can spend their free time in Borçka town centre. Following our visit to Karagöl, we meet our vehicle again and head to our activity area located in the Fırtına Valley. After our optional lunch break here, activities full of adrenaline and entertainment await you. Guests who wish may enjoy exciting moments on the approximately 350-metre-long course of the zipline set up over the Fırtına Stream (extra). The rafting activity (extra), conducted under the supervision of expert instructors for adventure enthusiasts, lasts approximately 1.5 hours and offers an unforgettable experience on the turbulent waters of the Black Sea. In addition, you can join the ATV Safari (extra) tour conducted amid the natural beauties of the Fırtına Valley and enjoy a pleasant driving experience along the approximately 6-kilometre course, accompanied by unique views of the stream and lush green nature. Guests who wish may also enjoy fun activities such as the giant swing (extra). Guests who do not wish to participate in the activities can spend time at the facilities located along the Fırtına Stream and enjoy their free time accompanied by views of the stream. Following these fun-filled moments, we depart for Çamlıhemşin. After reaching Çamlıhemşin, one of Rize’s most special districts, we board our minibuses with guests who wish to discover the Black Sea’s most impressive highlands as part of our optional highland tours. The program deemed appropriate by our guide will be implemented depending on weather and road conditions.


1. HIGHLAND TOUR PACKAGE (Extra) Çinçiva (Şenyuva) Village – Palovit Waterfall – Zilkale – Boxwood Forests – Elevit Highland

On this tour, we first visit Şenyuva (Çinçiva) Village, one of the most photogenic spots in the Fırtına Valley. We take a short sightseeing and photography break in the village, which is famous for its historic stone arch bridge and authentic Black Sea houses.

We then reach Palovit Waterfall, one of the region’s waterfalls with the strongest flow. After admiring the impressive view created by the waterfall, we see Zilkale, one of the valley’s most important historical structures, panoramically. We then pass through the Boxwood Forests, considered one of the world’s few natural ecosystems, and reach Elevit Highland, one of the finest examples of Black Sea highland culture. Here, we observe highland life closely and enjoy the beauty of the unique nature.


2. HIGHLAND TOUR PACKAGE (Extra) Çinçiva (Şenyuva) Village – Zilkale – Pokut Highland – Sal Highland

In our alternative highland program, we first visit Şenyuva Village and then see Zilkale, one of the region’s symbols. Afterwards, we ascend to Pokut Highland, one of the most famous highlands in the Black Sea region. At Pokut Highland, famous for its unique scenery stretching above the clouds, we have the opportunity to take unforgettable photographs.

Our tour continues with a visit to Sal Highland, which has managed to preserve its natural character to the present day and attracts attention with its postcard-like views. Here, we fully experience the highland atmosphere while admiring the enchanting nature of the Black Sea region.


Note: Guests who do not wish to join the extra highland tours can spend their free time in Çamlıhemşin. We recommend our highland tours to guests who wish to see the region’s natural beauties more closely.

 

Following our highland programs, we return to Çamlıhemşin by minibus, and at the end of the day we head to our hotel by vehicle. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Ayder Plateau – Çayeli – Çeçeva Tea Gardens (Haremtepe Village) – Tea Factory – Trabzon

Following the breakfast we will have at our hotel in the morning, we begin a new day accompanied by the unique nature of the Black Sea. Our first stop is Ayder Plateau, one of the region’s most important natural beauties. Reached by proceeding along the Fırtına Valley, Ayder Plateau welcomes us with its lush green nature, pristine air and breathtaking views. At the plateau, located approximately 1,350 meters above sea level, we see the Gelintülü Waterfall, which has become a symbol of Ayder, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the plateau to the fullest during our free time on Horon Plain. Our guests may go hiking, visit shops selling local products or spend pleasant time in the peaceful surroundings of the plateau. After our Ayder Plateau tour, we get back into our vehicle and proceed toward the Çayeli district of Rize, accompanied by the magnificent views of the Fırtına Valley. After reaching Çayeli, we transfer to local minibuses and take our tour of the Çeçeva Tea Gardens (Haremtepe Village), included in the tour price. In Çeçeva Village, which has become one of the indispensable locations for TV series, film and commercial shoots in recent years, we enjoy an unforgettable excursion among endless-looking, lush green tea gardens. The terraced tea fields and unique Black Sea views offer wonderful photo opportunities for photography enthusiasts. The tea garden entrance fee belongs to the guests, and during the visit we have the opportunity to closely observe the importance of tea production in the region’s daily life. After our tour, we meet our vehicle again in Çayeli center and proceed to our local restaurant in Derepazarı, where we take our optional lunch break. Following lunch, we visit the Historic Memişağa Mansion, one of the fine examples of Black Sea civil architecture. Here, we listen to an introduction to local honey, butter, cheese and other natural products, while our guests may shop if they wish. We then head to the tea factory to learn more about the journey of tea, one of the most important symbols of the Black Sea. During our visit to the factory, we observe on site all the production stages tea goes through from the garden until it reaches our tables and receive detailed information from experts. Our guests may wear traditional local clothing here and take souvenir photos, as well as examine and purchase various tea products. Following these enjoyable visits, during which we become closely acquainted with Black Sea culture and local values, we depart for Trabzon. After our journey accompanied by the unique views of the Black Sea along the way, we arrive at our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at our hotel in Trabzon.

Trabzon – Hagia Sophia Museum – Atatürk Mansion – Trabzon Airport – Çukurova Airport

On the last day of our tour, after breakfast at the hotel, we head to Trabzon city center. Here, we visit the Trabzon Hagia Sophia Museum, one of the city’s most important historical structures, notable for its architecture dating back to the Byzantine period. Afterwards, we complete our program by visiting the Atatürk Mansion, where Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, stayed during his visits to Trabzon, and which stands out with its elegant architecture and garden. Following our visits, if time permits, we take a short lunch and coffee break before transferring to Trabzon Airport. After completing our ticketing and baggage procedures, we depart for Çukurova Airport at 16:45 on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled Trabzon–Çukurova flight. Following our estimated arrival at 18:10, our tour comes to an end. See you on our next tour.
