In the morning, upon our arrival in Amasya, we begin our tour of Amasya after having breakfast (extra) at a suitable establishment in the city center. Amasya is a historic city with beautiful views both by night and by day. First, we visit the Amasya Archaeology and Mummy Museum, the largest mummy museum in the world. Here, we explore the Archaeology, Ethnography, Fossil and Mummy sections, delving into the depths of history. The artifacts from ancient times displayed in the museum reveal how deep-rooted and rich Amasya’s past is. In particular, the mummy section offers an unforgettable experience to visitors of Amasya.

Afterwards, we visit the Sultan II Bayezid Complex, one of the complexes associated with our sultans who served as princes in Amasya and later became Ottoman sultans. The complex is an important structure reflecting the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire. Here, we will closely observe traces of the Ottoman period as we explore the plane trees used as lightning conductors, the historic fountain, the balance columns at the entrances, and the mosque inside the complex.
