Day 1: Istanbul – Barcelona

We meet at 05:00 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticketing and passport procedures, we depart for Barcelona at 08:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. Upon arrival in Barcelona at 11:25 local time, we enjoy a panoramic city tour of Barcelona. During the tour, we get our first impressions of Barcelona by viewing the city’s general layout and important points from inside the vehicle. Plaça d'Espanya, Montjuïc Hill, the Olympic Stadium, the coastline, and important areas of Barcelona are among the panoramic sights to be seen. Day 4: Barcelona - Madrid

Toledo, a true open-air museum and bearer of the title of Spain’s former capital, is one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Home to one of the country’s most magnificent cathedrals, the city has become a rival to the world’s leading museums with works by world-famous painters.

Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to preserve much of its historical texture from the 16th century to the present day. Its structures bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow stone streets, El Greco’s works, typical pastry shops, Damascene stores, and magnificent cathedral offer visitors a unique atmosphere.

One of the important traditions in Toledo is the production of almond paste (Mazapán), which has survived from the Arab period to the present day. A trip to Toledo would not be complete without tasting this city’s famous delicacy. After our pleasant walk in the Jewish Quarter, we return to our hotel in Madrid.

Day 6: Madrid – Istanbul
