Journey to the Heart of Moldova New Year's Special with Turkish Airlines

Day 1: Istanbul – Chișinău

Meeting at the travel agency desk in the departure terminal of Istanbul Airport. Departure for Chișinău, the capital of Moldova, at 08:35 on Turkish Airlines flight TK269. After a comfortable and pleasant flight, arrival at 09:05 local time and, following entry procedures, we begin our panoramic city tour by private vehicle. On our panoramic Chișinău city tour, we set out to explore Chișinău, the capital and largest city of Moldova. We start our tour on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, one of the city’s landmarks, and see the Great Stefan Monument and Park. Then the Nativity Cathedral, one of Moldova’s most important places of worship, and the Triumphal Arch will be seen panoramically. During our city tour, the Parliament Building, the Presidential Palace, the Opera and Ballet Theater, and the National History Museum are among the important structures to be seen from the outside. After our short photo breaks in Chișinău, which stands out with its wide avenues and green parks bearing traces of the Soviet era, we complete our tour. After the city tour, we proceed to the restaurant with our guests who wish to join the Moldova Night extra tour.

Moldova Night with Dinner Per Person: 50 Eur

After the day program, on our Moldova Night (Dinner + Show) tour, which will be held in the evening, we have the opportunity to get to know Moldova’s traditional culture up close. On this enjoyable night at a local restaurant, while tasting flavors unique to Moldovan cuisine, we will enjoy fun moments accompanied by live music and folklore performances. Transfer to our hotel at the end of the program.

Day 2: Chișinău

After breakfast, free time for the entire day. Guests who wish may participate in the extra tours organized throughout the day. Overnight at our hotel in Chișinău.

Milestii Mici Wine Cellar Tour: 95 Eur

Get ready to discover Milestii Mici, one of the world’s largest wine cellars! You will embark on a unique journey through impressive wine galleries stretching for kilometers, located meters underground, and discover an underground wine city. During this unique experience, while tasting Moldova’s world-famous wines, you will also learn enjoyable information about the region’s long-established wine production tradition. Coming to Moldova and leaving without seeing Milestii Mici would be like going to Cappadocia and not taking a balloon ride. Do not miss this unforgettable experience, which will leave a lasting impression with its atmosphere, flavors, and uniqueness!

Day 3: Chișinău

Gagauzia Turkish Republic Tour with Lunch: 95 Eur

We set off toward the Gagauzia Turkish Republic, located in southern Moldova. Upon our arrival in the city of Comrat, the Gagauzia sign at the entrance to the region welcomes us. On the city tour we will carry out in this special region, which declared its autonomy in 1994 and is home to the Turkish-origin Gagauz people, the Square, Saint John Church, Atatürk Library and Bust, Parliament Building, Lenin Monument, and Comrat University will be seen panoramically.

After our city tour, we have lunch at a local restaurant where we will taste flavors unique to Gagauz cuisine. After lunch, we head to Besalma Village and visit the Ethnography Museum, which sheds light on the history of the Gagauz people. Inside the museum, we will have the opportunity to see cultural and artistic works from the last two centuries and learn about the region’s way of life and traditions.

After our museum visit, we watch a traditional folklore show reflecting the colorful side of Gagauz culture. Continuing our program, we return to Comrat and complete our panoramic city tour, gaining the chance to get closely acquainted with the region’s historical and cultural fabric. After our tour, we begin our return journey to Chișinău and, upon arrival, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4: Chișinău – Istanbul

After breakfast, departure for Chișinău Airport. After boarding procedures, our flight to Istanbul Airport will take place at 15:10 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK274. After a comfortable and pleasant flight, arrival in Istanbul at 17:50 and the end of our tour. We bid you farewell, hoping to see you again on your next journey.
