İSTANBUL – BOLOGNA – (Siena Tour) – ROME
After arriving at Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before the flight and completing ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures, we fly to Bologna at 12:40 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1217. After arriving in Bologna at 14:20 local time, we head to our hotel in the Rome area by our private bus waiting for us. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Siena Tour (50 Euro). Siena is famous for its narrow streets and small lanes dating back to the Middle Ages, as well as Campo Square, regarded as Europe’s largest square. After an enjoyable visit in Siena, where we will explore Campo Square and the narrow historic streets leading to it, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Rome area. Upon arrival at the hotel, room check-in and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and therefore called the “Strawberry Village,” Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing in Nemi, where narrow streets open onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley views blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, known as Urbs caput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world.” With buildings in different styles ranging from the ancient period to the Renaissance, and offering art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, Rome is a city that showcases works created by architects competing with one another, attracting thousands of tourists in every season, yet carrying even these crowds without overwhelming the visitor thanks to its beauty and elegance. On our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the ancient theater that became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, which served as the ceremonial center of the city in imperial times, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says anyone who throws in a coin will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, and panoramic views of Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Beginning with views of Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, we visit Vatican City / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time at San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come each year to worship and gather, and where, on special occasions, the Pope comes out from his residence to greet the public, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, we will experience the real Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, with its cafés, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops, as well as Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the ancient Tiber Island, which is connected to the city by two bridges, all seen panoramically. After a walking tour through its maze-like narrow back streets lined with small tables, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome area.
ROME – (Naples Tour) – (Pearl of Amalfi Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompei Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, within the full day at leisure, guests who wish may join the optional Naples Tour (40 Euro). On our tour after arriving in Naples, sights to be seen include Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the Naples tour, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join the optional Lunch Included Pompei Tour (80 Euro). Starting with lunch at a local restaurant, our tour continues to Pompeii, which lies on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79 A.D. destroyed the city. Thanks to long excavations by archaeologists beginning in 1748, the city has been brought back to life in all its vibrancy. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii.
Alternatively, guests who wish may join the optional Pearl of Amalfi Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). After a city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento, located on the Amalfi Coast and famous for its small tourist boutiques, striking beaches, breathtaking views, and Limoncello, the Italian lemon liqueur, we offer free time in this town that has roots dating back to prehistoric times and captivates visitors by combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome area.
ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – (Florence Masterpieces and Pisa Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to our hotel in the Florence area where we will be staying. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano has earned its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, and it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to the 14 architectural marvels that survived from 76 towers after wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing in San Gimignano’s narrow streets, where time seems to have stood still and visitors feel as if they are on a journey back to the Middle Ages, and in its squares from which the 14 magnificent towers can be seen panoramically, each opening onto the town square, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Florence area. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Florence Masterpieces and Pisa Tour (95 Euro). First, in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will see from the outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which immediately attracts attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is its bronze door, called the “Gate of Paradise,” where scenes from prophets’ stories, some of which are also mentioned in the Quran, are depicted symbolically. Then the Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Piazza della Signoria, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region located on Italy’s Ligurian coast, known for its colorful houses, terraced hillsides running parallel to the coast, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transportation between villages through hiking routes and train connections. After a sightseeing tour in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, Portofino captivates visitors with its picturesque scenery, narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean waters. After our Portofino visit, we continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan area, room check-in and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour) – (Lugano Tour) – (Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, within the free time provided, guests who wish may join the optional Milan Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro) and Como Tour (50 Euro). The first stop of our tour will be Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right place for shopping and dining. During our tour in Milan, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. At the end of the Milan Masterpieces Tour, we arrive in Como. Upon arrival, on our tour, we will visit Lake Como, famous for hosting summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European wealthy people, and the world’s jet set, and known for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo break while enjoying the lake’s unique view. During the free time offered in Como, guests who wish may join the optional Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro), organized only for guests participating in the Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour. In this tour, we will take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland, which will captivate us with its unique nature, wonderful views, and city park, and we will enjoy the exceptional scenery by photographing the beautiful nature. At the end of the tour, we begin our return journey to our hotel in the Milan area. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Outlet Tour (35 Euro). After the enjoyable free time we will offer at the outlet center, which hosts stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas, for affordable shopping and quality purchases, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Milan area.
MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat)
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for our hotel in the Venice area. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, listed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and to the home of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the greatest love story known in the world today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, which we will carry out on foot through Via Mazzini (the main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafés, and stores, and where we will also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice area. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat (125 Euro – Vaporetto transportation fees included). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see the main iconic works such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of grandeur and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, at the time indicated by our guide, we depart for Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop, ticket, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 15:25 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1218. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:55 Turkish time and end of our tour.
