İSTANBUL – MADRID – (Toledo Tour) – GRANADA
After being present at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight time, and following baggage drop, ticket, and passport control procedures, we fly to Madrid at 09.50 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC 1099. After arriving in Madrid at 13.25 local time, we set off for Granada. Along the way, guests who wish may join our extra Toledo Tour program (50 Euro). Upon arrival in Toledo, we carry out our tour. Founded by Jews in 590 B.C., and today one of Spain’s most important cities historically and touristically, where people belonging to three major religions live together peacefully, Toledo is also known as the “city of knights.” The Tagus River, the largest river on the Iberian Peninsula, passes through the city. The city served as the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. Because it is one of the world’s largest medieval cities, it has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and protected. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. The Toledo Cathedral, which took approximately 270 years to build, was formerly a mosque and is now the world’s 3rd most important and Spain’s main cathedral, containing some of the world’s most expensive works of art; San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damascene work), workshops and shops where gold handcrafts are made, are among the places to be seen panoramically on our tour. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we organize our city tour in Granada. Granada, established on fertile lands at the foothills of the Sierra Navada Mountains, is one of Spain’s most touristy cities. Having been largely influenced by Rome and the Umayyads throughout its rich history and home to the Al Hambra Palace, our panoramic tour in the city will include the historical Andalusian/Granada streets, where among the works remaining from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, the Queen Isabelle and Christopher Columbus Statue, Grand Via, La Rambla, and the Town Square will be seen. Free time after the city tour. Guests who wish may join our extra Al Hambra Palace Tour program (65 Euro). After breakfast and hotel check-out, within the free time that will be offered, guests who wish may join our extra Seville Masterpieces Tour program (65 Euro). Seville, the most crowded and developed city in Andalusia, owes its exotic and rich cultural history to the period in its history when it was under the rule of the Moors, North African Muslims. We carry out our panoramic city tour accompanied by beautiful and magnificent cathedrals, squares, palaces, museums, towers, and churches. During our city tour, Plaza de Espana (Spain Square), where some scenes of Star Wars 2 were filmed, Torro del Oro (Golden Tower), a dodecagonal tower originally built for defensive purposes but later also used as a prison, Sevilla Cathedral, the 3rd largest Gothic cathedral in the world and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987, Giralda Bell Tower, and Maria Luisa Park are among the places to be seen panoramically. After the Seville tour, we head to Lisbon. Upon arrival in Lisbon, within the free time that will be offered, guests who wish may join our extra Lisbon Masterpieces Tour program (55 Euro). Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and like Istanbul a city with 2 sides, is also Europe’s 6th most visited city by tourists throughout the year. Lisbon, governed throughout history under the rule of the Phoenicians, Romans, North African Muslims, and finally the Portuguese, hosts many historical monuments with this history dating back to 1200 B.C. During the tour we will carry out in Lisbon, the historic part of the city where Rossio Square and St. Georges Castle are located, and the Santa Justa Elevator are among the main places to be seen. After the city tour, we offer free time in the city center. Continuing our city tour, Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, built during the age of geographical discoveries and carrying symbolic importance for Portugal, will be seen and free time will be given for photos. Then, Avenida de Liberdade, known as Lisbon’s Champ Elysee, famous for its cafes, quality shops, and restaurants, will be among the places to be seen, and we will have the chance to discover the city of Lisbon from different angles. LISBON – (Greater Lisbon and Atlantic Coasts Tour) – OBIDOS – PORTO – (Fado Show)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Obidos. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Greater Lisbon and Atlantic Coasts Tour program (80 Euro). The first stop of our tour will be Sintra town. Sintra will welcome us with its boutique shops, colorful and ornate houses resembling castles, and cobblestone streets. However, the most important feature that led the town to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List is its architectural monuments and buildings from the Romantic Period. After our visit to Sintra, where we will walk through avenues and streets surrounded by palaces and churches, our next stop will be Cabo da Roca, called “The End of the World” and the westernmost point of the European Continent. After a short break where we will have the opportunity to take photos of the ocean and famous beaches frequented by surfers, our tour continues with panoramic surrounding visits in Cascais, a fishing town, and Estoril, one of the most famous resort areas known as Lisbon’s backyard, famous for its SPA and thermal hotels, parks and golf courses, and also for being where the casino chapters of the first Bond novel, Casino Royale, take place. After the surrounding tour we will carry out in Salamanca and the short free time we will offer at Plaza Mayor, which is among Europe’s most beautiful squares, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Madrid. In this program, we first travel from Madrid to Barcelona by high-speed train in a comfortable journey lasting about 3 hours. Upon arrival at the train station in Barcelona, we begin our tour accompanied by our guide. BARCELONA – (Barcelona Icons Tour) – (Figueres & Dali Museum Tour)
After breakfast, free time all day. Within this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Barcelona Icons Tour program (65 Euro). First, on our tour, we go up to Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of the city, and visit Park Guell, designed and built by Antoni Gaudi. “entrance fee included” Finding its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984, the park enchants its visitors with vivid colors and nature-inspired figures, taking them almost to a fairy-tale land; we offer free time for photos and a surrounding tour in Guell Park. Then we will see Casa Mila, one of the most important works Gaudi added to the city’s architecture (Gaudi’s House), and complete our tour by walking around La Sagrada Familia. For guests joining the Barcelona Icons Tour, within the free time that will be offered, guests who wish may join our extra Figueres & Dali Museum Tour program (75 Euro). In the first part of our tour, we set off for Figueres. After a short surrounding tour in Figueres, where Salvador Dali was born and which hosts the museum he designed from a theater building while still alive to house his works, we will visit the Dali Museum “entrance fee included” and, in the museum containing 4000 works by Dali, go on an art tour accompanied by our guide. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel.
BARCELONA – (Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to the airport for our flight to Istanbul. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Outlet Tour program (25 Euro). After our visit to the outlet center, which offers visitors the chance to enjoy and experience convenient shopping with its stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing ticket, baggage drop, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 16.10 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1094. Arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 20.45 TRT and the end of our tour.
