ISTANBUL – MADRID – (Toledo Tour) – GRANADA
After completing our baggage drop-off, ticket, and passport control procedures, which we will carry out by being present at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight time, we fly to Madrid at 09.50 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC 1099. After our arrival in Madrid at 13.25 local time, we depart for Granada. Along the way, guests who wish may join our extra Toledo Tour program (50 Euro). Upon arrival in Toledo, we arrange our tour. Founded by the Jews in 590 BC, Toledo is one of Spain’s most important cities in historical and touristic terms, where people belonging to three major religions live together peacefully today, and is also known as the “city of knights.” The Tagus, the largest river of the Iberian Peninsula, passes through the city. The city was the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. Since it is one of the world’s largest medieval cities, it has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and taken under protection. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. The Toledo Cathedral, which took approximately 270 years to build, was formerly a mosque and is now the world’s 3rd most important and Spain’s main cathedral, containing some of the world’s most expensive works; San Martin Bridge; Damasquinos (Damascene work); workshops and shops where gold craftsmanship is done, are among the places to be seen panoramically on our tour. GRANADA – (Alhambra Palace) – CORDOBA – (Cordoba Mosque & Cathedral Tour) – SEVILLE – (Flamenco Show)
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we arrange our city tour in Granada. Built on fertile lands at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Granada is one of Spain’s most touristic cities. Having been under the influence mainly of the Romans and the Umayyads throughout its rich history, the city hosts the Alhambra Palace. On our panoramic tour through the historic Andalusia/Granada streets among the remains from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus Statue, Grand Via, La Rambla, and the Town Hall Square are among the places to be seen. Free time after the city tour. Guests who wish may join our extra Alhambra Palace Tour program (65 Euro). We see the Alhambra Palace, one of the most extraordinary memories of not only Andalusia but of all Islamic history, famous for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens, and included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. “Entrance fee included” (It is carried out subject to the palace’s availability and excludes the harem entrance). On our tour, we visit the Cordoba Mosque & Cathedral with “entrance fee included.” In addition to being the 3rd largest mosque in Islamic history in terms of size, it is a major attraction in itself as one of the two greatest examples of Spain’s Moorish past. The structure, which shifted for centuries between Islam and Christianity, is now used as a Catholic cathedral. On our panoramic Cordoba city tour organized after the tour, we discover Cordoba, founded during the Roman Empire and in the 10th century the largest city in Europe under the protection of the Islamic state. SEVILLE – (Seville Masterpieces Tour) – LISBON – (Lisbon Masterpieces Tour)
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, within the free time that will be provided, guests who wish may join our extra Seville Masterpieces Tour program (65 Euro). Seville, the most crowded and most developed city in Andalusia, owes its exotic and rich cultural history to the period in which it was under the rule of the Moors, North African Muslims throughout its history. We carry out our panoramic city tour accompanied by beautiful and magnificent cathedrals, squares, palaces, museums, towers, and churches. During our city tour, Plaza de Espana, where some scenes of Star Wars 2 were filmed; Torro del Oro, the octagonal-shaped Golden Tower, which was established for defense purposes but later also used as a prison; Seville Cathedral, the world’s 3rd largest Gothic cathedral and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987; Giralda Bell Tower; and Maria Luisa Park are among the places to be seen panoramically. After the Seville tour, we depart for Lisbon. Upon arrival in Lisbon, within the free time that will be provided, guests who wish may join our extra Lisbon Masterpieces Tour program (55 Euro). Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and like Istanbul a city on two sides, is also Europe’s 6th most visited city by tourists throughout the year. Governed throughout history under the rule of the Phoenicians, Romans, North African Muslims, and finally the Portuguese, Lisbon, with its history reaching back to 1200 BC, hosts many historical works. During the tour we will carry out in Lisbon, the historic district of the city where Rossio Square and St. George’s Castle are located, and the Santa Justa Lift are among the main places to be seen. After the city tour, we provide free time in the city center. In the continuation of our city tour, Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, built during the Age of Discovery and carrying symbolic importance for Portugal, will be seen and free time will be given for a photo break. Then, Avenida de Liberdade, known as Lisbon’s Champs Elysées, famous for its cafes, high-quality shops, and restaurants, will be among the places to be seen, and we will have the opportunity to discover Lisbon from different perspectives. LISBON – (Greater Lisbon and Atlantic Coasts Tour) – OBIDOS – PORTO – (Fado Show)
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we depart for Obidos. Along the way, guests who wish may join our extra Greater Lisbon and Atlantic Coasts Tour program (80 Euro). The first stop of our tour will be the town of Sintra. Sintra will welcome us with its boutique shops, colorful and ornate houses resembling castles, and cobblestone streets. However, the most important feature that made the town a UNESCO World Heritage Site is its architectural monuments and buildings from the Romantic Period. After our Sintra visit through streets and avenues surrounded by palaces and churches, our next stop will be Cabo da Roca, called “the End of the World” and the westernmost point of the European Continent. After a short break that we will give so you can take photos of the ocean and the famous beaches frequented by surfers, we continue our tour with panoramic excursions in Cascais, a fishing town, and Estoril, one of the most famous resort areas known as Lisbon’s backyard, famous for its spa and thermal hotels, parks and golf courses, and for being the setting of the casino sections in Casino Royale, the first Bond novel. At the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Obidos. Salamanca is a culturally, commercially, and touristically active city in northwestern Spain, built on the banks of the Tormes River, with ancient historical riches stretching from the Carthaginians to the Romans, and home to the Salamanca University, the first in Spain and the oldest in Europe. With its historical and cultural richness, Salamanca was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988. After the city excursion we will carry out in Salamanca and a short free time we will provide at Plaza Mayor, which is among the most beautiful squares in Europe, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Madrid. Upon arrival in Madrid, we arrange our city tour. Madrid, the capital of the Kingdom of Spain and also the third largest city in the European Union, is regarded as the country’s political, economic, and cultural center. In this program, we first reach Barcelona from Madrid by high-speed train in a comfortable journey of about 3 hours. Upon arrival at the train station in Barcelona, we start our tour accompanied by our guide. (In this tour, which will be organized depending on the sufficient number of participants, the tour guide will accompany the guests who purchase the High-Speed Train Barcelona Masterpieces Tour program and will travel with them to Barcelona by high-speed train.) BARCELONA – (Barcelona Icons Tour) – (Figueres & Dali Museum Tour)
After breakfast, full day free time. Within this free time, guests who wish may join the extra Barcelona Icons Tour program (65 Euro). First, we go up Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of the city, and visit Park Guell, designed and built by Antoni Gaudi. “Entrance fee included” In Guell Park, which was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1984 and takes its visitors almost into a land of fairy tales with its vivid colors and figures inspired by nature, we provide free time for photos and a city excursion. Then, we will see Casa Mila, one of the most important works Gaudi added to the city’s architecture (Gaudi’s House), and complete our tour with a walk around La Sagrada Familia. Guests who will join the Barcelona Icons Tour may, within the free time that will be provided, join the extra Figueres & Dali Museum Tour (75 Euro). In the first part of our tour, we depart for Figueres. After a short excursion in Figueres, where Salvador Dali was born and which hosts the museum he designed from a theater building to house his works while he was still alive, we will visit the Dali Museum “entrance fee included” and take an art tour in the museum, which houses 4000 of Dali’s works, accompanied by our guide. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel.
BARCELONA – (Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and our hotel check-out procedures, we head to the airport for our flight to Istanbul. Along the way, guests who wish may join the extra Outlet Tour program (25 Euro). After our visit to the outlet center, which offers its visitors the opportunity to enjoy and experience pleasant and affordable shopping with the stylish stores of many prestigious brands it hosts, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing ticket, baggage drop-off, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 16.10 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1094. Arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 20.45 local time and the end of our tour.
