After completing ticketing, baggage check-in, and passport procedures by being present at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight, we fly to Bologna at 12:40 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1217. Upon arrival in Bologna at 14:20 local time, we head to Siena with our private bus waiting for us. Siena is famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, which is considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant tour in Siena, where we will explore Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we set off toward our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this reason, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares combine with enchanting lake and valley views and the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, a city described as Urbs caput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” where art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine await you, with buildings in different styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. As architects competed with one another to create these works, drawing thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome manages to carry even these crowds without overwhelming the visitor, with all its beauty and elegance. On our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which shaped European civilization and bears witness to 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the ancient theater that has become the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, which was the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where legend says those who toss a coin into it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo, which will be seen panoramically. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Pantheon, in the city center of Rome. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Beginning with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time in St. Peter’s Square (San Pietro Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship and where, on special occasions, the Pope comes out from his seat and greets the public, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city ourselves, we will experience the true Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, with its naturalness and simplicity as well as its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops; Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto areas; and the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by two bridges, which will be seen panoramically. After the walking tour through the back narrow alleys, lined with small tables and resembling a labyrinth, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (The Pearl of Amalfi Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, on our panoramic city tour we will see Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the city tour, within the free time that will be offered, guests who wish may join our optional Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). Starting with lunch at a local restaurant, we visit Pompeii, which lies at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79 AD destroyed the city; after long excavations by archaeologists in 1748, the city was uncovered in all its vitality. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. Or guests who wish may join our optional The Pearl of Amalfi Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). Known for its history dating back to prehistoric times, captivating its visitors by combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, and famous for its small tourist boutiques, stunning beaches, breathtaking views, and its Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, we offer free time after our city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Florence. En route, guests who wish may join our optional San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano, which has earned its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to the 14 architectural marvel towers that survived out of 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters. After a sightseeing tour in San Gimignano, where the streets make visitors feel as if time has stopped and they have embarked on a time journey to the Middle Ages, and in the squares from which the 14 magnificent towers can be seen panoramically, each opening onto the town square, we continue our journey to Florence and arrange our city tour upon arrival. In our city tour in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately stands out with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the most striking features of the cathedral is its bronze door, known as the “Gate of Paradise,” where representative scenes of prophetic stories, some of which are also mentioned in the Quran, are depicted. Afterwards, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the public to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and also houses Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and goldsmith shops, will be among the places seen. After the Florence city tour, we depart for Pisa. On our tour in Pisa, which we will carry out upon arrival, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracoli Square are among the places to visit. After a short free time offered for a photo break, transfer to our hotel in the Florence region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check into rooms and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (Cinque Terre Tour by Train) – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – MILAN
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. En route, guests who wish may join our optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region located on Italy’s Ligurian coast, known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes running parallel to the shore, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transportation between villages via hiking routes and train connections. After completing our tour and sightseeing in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, we continue our journey toward Milan. En route, guests who wish may join our optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, Portofino enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean views. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan region, check into rooms and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces Tour) – COMO – (Lugano Tour) – OUTLET
After breakfast, we depart for Como. En route, guests who wish may join our optional Milan Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro). Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences. During the tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. After the free time offered at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Como. On our tour upon arrival, we will visit Lake Como, home to summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo break accompanied by the lake’s unique view. After the free time in Como, we depart for our outlet center visit. En route, guests who wish may join our optional Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro). On our tour, located within the borders of Switzerland, we will take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, which will captivate us with its unique nature, wonderful view, and city park, and we will enjoy the exceptional scenery by photographing the beautiful nature. At the end of the tour, we continue our journey to the outlet center. After pleasant free time offered at the outlet center, which hosts stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we return to our hotel in the Milan region and offer free time to rest.
MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set off toward our hotel in the Venice region. En route, guests who wish may join our optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Located on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, Verona is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum, and also the home of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the greatest love story known in the world today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, where we will walk along Via Mazzini (main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to the Venice region hotel. En route, guests who wish may join our optional Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour (125 Euro – Vaporetto transportation fees included). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see the main iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, and then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we arrange our Colorful Islands program. In this tour, where we will have the chance to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see the Lido and Murano islands from the sea and visit Burano Island, a fishing village famous for its lace and known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. After our tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Venice region, check into rooms, and offer free time to rest.
VENICE – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, at the time to be announced by our guide, we depart for Venice Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage check-in, ticket, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 14:55 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1236. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:20 local time and end of the tour.
