İSTANBUL – BASEL – (Freiburg Tour) – ALSACE/BASEL
After arriving at the International Terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and completing baggage drop-off, ticket, and passport control procedures, which you should be ready for 3 hours before the flight, we fly to Basel at 10:40 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC939. After arriving at Basel Airport at 11:50 local time, we set off with our private bus waiting for us to organize our Basel city tour. Basel, the 3rd largest and most populated city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, is on the northern border of the country with Germany and France. In our panoramic city tour in Basel, where people from many parts of the world with different origins live and which is considered one of Europe's most metropolitan cities, the main sights include Marktplatz, accepted as the city's square and home to the government building, Basel Gate (Spalen Gate), one of the oldest structures in the city, Basel Cathedral, and the Rhine River. After the Basel tour, we offer free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra arranged Freiburg Tour (50 Euro) program. We set off for Freiburg, one of the most important examples of green urbanism. In our city tour of Freiburg, the city of happy people, where since 2010 only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed to enter and transportation is mainly provided by tram and bicycle, it is possible to see traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, under whose protection the city has been throughout history. In our city tour in Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the city's most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, charming streets with small water canals unique to Freiburg, Martin's Tor, the city's medieval gate, and Rathausplatz are among the places to be seen. After the Freiburg tour, we head to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
ALSACE/BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – (Strasbourg & Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra arranged Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro) program. On our tour, we first head to the fairy-tale city of Colmar and see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, as well as the city's most famous district, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In the unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will find both many delicious foods to suit your taste and the opportunity to buy many souvenirs. The next stop on our tour is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to cars, buildings that somehow escaped damage from World War II, and charming cafes; with its tower, which also houses the Dolder Museum that carries the city's story to the present day with documents, it resembles a Grimm fairy tale. During the free time given after the tour, guests who wish may join our extra arranged Strasbourg & Outlet Tour (75 Euro) program. Strasbourg, located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, will welcome us like a painting, as if straight out of a fairy tale. In the city tour we will carry out by walking in the car-free center and streets of Strasbourg, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992; Little France (Petite France), famous for its Alsace Houses that will make us feel right in the middle of a fairy-tale land, Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city's most important structure located in the very heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the city's oldest house, which still continues to serve as a hotel and restaurant today, are among the places we will see. After the free time offered following the Strasbourg city tour, we set off to visit the outlet. We will offer free time at the outlet center, home to the stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas. After the free time at Outlet Center, we return to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region.
ALSACE/BASEL – (Lucerne & Bern & Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra arranged Lucerne & Bern & Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (125 Euro) program. The first stop of our tour will be Lucerne. During our tour in Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most popular tourist centers, famous for its nature and festivals held throughout the year, we will have the chance to photograph the views of Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi, see the Musegg Wall and the Lion Monument in the old town with its old houses, and see the city's symbol, Chapel Bridge, and the Jesuit Church dating from the 17th century. After the Lucerne Tour, we set off for Interlaken. We will carry out our tour in Interlaken, which takes its name from its location between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun and is famous for its natural beauty and the enchanting views of these beauties. Important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets of the region are located along the route we will walk. The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city's historical symbols, and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After the free time offered for photography and a surrounding tour, we head to the train station to move to Lauterbrunnen, the next stop of our tour. With our train departing from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen after approximately a 20-minute journey. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as we leave the station. While walking to the village center, we will panoramically see and have the chance to photograph the mesmerizing structure of Staubbach Falls hanging toward the valley floor. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along the valley hosting 72 waterfalls and its walking paths. In our walk carried out along the designated route within the village, we will take many photos of the region's traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and its wonderful paradise-like natural landscapes. We complete our tour by returning to Interlaken. We move on to Bern, the next stop of our tour. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. German culture is also reflected in Bern's architecture, which is located within Swiss borders and has German as its official language. After our city tour in Bern, established around the Aare River, we return to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region.
ALSACE/BASEL – BASEL – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we head to Basel Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 16:35 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC942. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 21:35 local time and the end of our tour.
