İSTANBUL – ZURICH – FREIBURG – ALSACE/BASEL
After arriving at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before departure and completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Zurich at 11:55 with AJet Airlines’ scheduled flight VF53. After arriving at Zurich Airport at 13:00 local time, we set off with our private bus waiting for us to take our city tour and head to Freiburg, one of the finest examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, the city of happy people, where only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed since 2010 and transportation is mainly provided by tram and bicycle, traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, under whose protection the city has been throughout history, can be seen during our city tour. In Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with small canals unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Tor, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz are among the places to see. After free time following the Freiburg tour, we head to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time for rest.
ALSACE/BASEL – (Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – (Strasbourg & Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join our extra tour program, Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On our tour, we first go to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, as well as the city’s most famous district, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In the unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will find many delicious foods to suit your taste, as well as many souvenir options. The next stop on our tour will be Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive row of shops, cobblestone roads closed to car traffic, buildings that somehow survived the Second World War without damage, and charming cafes; with its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which preserves the city’s story through documents, it resembles a Grimm fairy tale. During the free time after the tour, our guests who wish may join our extra Strasbourg & Outlet Tour (75 Euro) program. Strasbourg, located on the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, will welcome us like a picture straight out of a fairy tale. On the city tour we will carry out by walking in the car-free center and streets of Strasbourg, which was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, we will see Petite France, famous for its Alsace Houses that make us feel right in the middle of a fairytale land, Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important building located right in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still operating today as a hotel and restaurant. After free time following the Strasbourg city tour, we head out to visit the outlet. We will offer free time at the outlet center, which hosts the stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas. After the free time at Outlet Center, we return to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region.
ALSACE/BASEL – (Lucerne & Bern & Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join our extra tour program, Lucerne & Bern & Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (125 Euro). The first stop on our tour will be Lucerne. During the tour we will carry out in Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most popular tourist centers, famous for its nature and festivals held throughout the year, we will have the chance to photograph views of Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi, see the Musegg Wall and the Lion Monument in the old town with its historic houses, and visit the city’s symbol, the Chapel Bridge, and the Jesuit Church dating from the 17th century. After the Lucerne Tour, we set off for Interlaken. We will carry out our tour in Interlaken, which takes its name from its location between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, and is famous for its natural beauty and the enchanting views of these landscapes. The region’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are located along the route of our tour, which we will explore on foot. The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we head to the train station to move on to Lauterbrunnen, the next stop on our tour. With our train departing from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen after approximately a 20-minute journey. We will feel the valley’s deep structure and steep rock walls as we exit the station. While walking to the village center, we will panoramically see the enchanting form of Staubbach Falls hanging down toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements and walking paths lined along the valley that hosts 72 waterfalls. On our walk along the designated route within the village, we will take plenty of photos of the region’s traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and its wonderful, heaven-like natural scenery. We complete our tour by returning to Interlaken. We then head to Bern, the next stop on our tour. Bern is one of Europe’s few cities that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Located within Swiss borders and with German as its official language, Bern also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After the city tour we will carry out in Bern, established around the Aare River, we return to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region.
ALSACE/BASEL – BASEL – ZURICH – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set off to organize our Basel city tour. Basel, Switzerland’s 3rd largest and most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, is on the borders with Germany and France in the north of the country. In our panoramic city tour of Basel, where people from many parts of the world with different origins live and, with this feature, is considered one of Europe’s most metropolitan cities, the main places to see include Marktplatz, regarded as the city’s square and home to the government building, the Basel Gate (Spalen Gate), one of the city’s oldest structures, Basel Cathedral, and the Rhine River. After the Basel tour and the free time that follows, we head to Zurich Airport. After baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we complete at the airport, we fly to Istanbul at 14:00 with AJet Airlines’ scheduled flight VF54. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:55 local time and the end of our tour.
