İSTANBUL – ZURICH – FREIBURG – ALSACE/BASEL
After being ready at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before departure and completing baggage drop, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Zurich on AJet Airlines’ scheduled flight VF53 at 11:55. After arriving at Zurich Airport at 13:00 local time, we set off with our private coach waiting for us to carry out our city tour to Freiburg, one of the most important examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, the city of happy people, where only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed to enter since 2010 and transportation is mainly provided by tram and bicycle, it is possible to see traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, under whose protection the city has been throughout history. During our city tour in Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the city’s most important landmark, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with small water canals unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Tor, the city’s medieval gate, and Rathausplatz will be among the places to see. After free time following the Freiburg tour, we head to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time for rest.
ALSACE/BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – (Strasbourg & Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join our extra organized Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro) program. On our tour, we will first go to the fairy-tale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, as well as the city’s most famous area, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In the unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will find both many delicious foods to suit your taste and the opportunity to buy many souvenirs. The next stop on our tour will be Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive row of shops, cobblestone streets closed to car traffic, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafes; with its tower, which also houses the Dolder Museum carrying the city’s story to the present day through documents, it will look like something out of Grimm’s fairy tales. During the free time after the tour, our guests who wish may join our extra organized Strasbourg & Outlet Tour (75 Euro) program. Located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg will welcome us like a painting, as if straight out of a fairy tale. During the city tour we will carry out by walking through the car-free center and streets of Strasbourg, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, we will see Petite France, famous for its Alsace Houses that make us feel in the middle of a fairy tale land, Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house, which still continues to serve as a hotel and restaurant. After the free time following the Strasbourg city tour, we set off to carry out our outlet visit. We will offer free time at the outlet center, which hosts the stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas. After the free time at Outlet Center, we return to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region.
ALSACE/BASEL – (Lucerne & Bern & By Train Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join our extra organized Lucerne & Bern & By Train Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (125 Euro) program. The first stop on our tour will be Lucerne. During the tour we will carry out in Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most popular tourist centers, famous for its nature and festivals held throughout the year, we will have the chance to photograph views of Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi, see the Musegg Wall and the Lion Monument in the old town with its old houses, and see the city’s symbol, Chapel Bridge, and the Jesuit Church dating back to the 17th century. After the Lucerne Tour, we head to Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is located between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, we will carry out our tour in Interlaken, famous for its natural beauty and the mesmerizing views of these beauties. Important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets of the region are located on the route of our walking tour. Among the places we will see panoramically are the Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park. After the free time offered for photos and sightseeing, we move to the train station to go to Lauterbrunnen, the next stop of our tour. With our train departing from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen after about a 20-minute journey. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as we leave the station. Walking to the village center, we will panoramically see the mesmerizing structure of Staubbach Falls hanging down toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along the valley, which hosts 72 waterfalls, and its walking paths. On our walk along the designated route within the village, we will take plenty of photos of the region’s traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and its wonderful natural landscapes reminiscent of paradise. We complete our tour by returning to Interlaken. We head to Bern, the next stop on our tour. Bern is one of Europe’s few cities that has remained completely unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Located within Swiss borders and with German as the official language, the influence of German culture is also seen in Bern’s architecture. After our city tour in Bern, founded around the Aare River, we return to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region.
ALSACE/BASEL – BASEL – ZURICH – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we set off to organize our Basel city tour. Basel, Switzerland’s 3rd largest and most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, is on the borders with Germany and France in the north of the country. In our panoramic city tour of Basel, where people of many different origins from around the world live and which is considered one of Europe’s most metropolitan cities for this reason, the main sights will include Marktplatz, regarded as the city’s square and where the government building is also located, Basel Gate (Spalen Gate), one of the city’s oldest structures, Basel Cathedral, and the Rhine River. After the free time following the Basel tour, we set off for Zurich Airport. After completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures upon arrival at the airport, we fly to Istanbul at 14:00 with AJet Airlines’ scheduled flight VF54. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:55 local time and the end of our tour.
