School Trip | Panorama 1453 History Museum

As the name suggests, we can say that the museum deals only with the conquest of Istanbul. The museum is also Turkey’s first panoramic museum. And it is the only covered panoramic museum in the world.

Although the conquest is explained in small details on the museum’s first floor, the panoramic photo that gives the museum its name is located in the dome hall section of the museum and has a fascinating effect by creating the feeling of being outdoors again inside a closed area.

The museum will be interesting for children as well as adults. The details in the museum may be as intriguing for children as a door opening onto a fairy tale. Since the museum is located within the boundaries of Topkapı Cultural Park, at the end of the visit it may also be possible to relax in the playgrounds within the park where children can spend time.
