Need to Know
Tour duration: This is a program lasting 2 days with 1 night accommodation.
Transportation: Departure is from Istanbul, and round-trip travel is by bus.
Departure times: The initial meeting point is at 06:00 İncirli Metrobüs Stop - In front of Nevada Cafe, with departures also made from various other points in Istanbul and along the route.
Walking: Stops such as Kaymakamlar House, Cinci Han, and Yemeniclers Bazaar in Safranbolu center are visited on foot. Therefore, comfortable shoes are recommended.
Glass Terrace: On the second day, the Glass Terrace located approximately 80 meters above İncekaya Canyon is visited.
Saffron harvest: On the second day of the program, visitors go to a saffron field where the saffron harvest is observed, information about saffron is provided, and saffron tea is served.
Meals: 1 dinner and 1 breakfast at the hotel are included in the tour price. Breakfast along the route, lunch in Safranbolu, and dinner on the return journey are extra.
Accommodation: Accommodation is provided in Safranbolu or Karabük hotels.
Weather conditions: Since the saffron field visit takes place outdoors, it is recommended to wear season-appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, and bring a raincoat/umbrella if necessary.
Program pace: As the historical center tour, village visit, Glass Terrace, and saffron field are all included in the same program, it is beneficial to make a relaxed and walking-friendly preparation.

After gathering with our valued guests at the designated meeting points, we begin our enjoyable journey to our Safranbolu Saffron Harvest tour in cooperation with itctur.com.
Following the breakfast break along our route, we arrive in Safranbolu with its historical texture and unique atmosphere. After admiring the enchanting city view from Hidirlik Hill and taking a tea break, we walk to visit the Kaymakamlar Evini (Governors' Houses), Cinci Han and Hamam, and Yemeniciler Arastasi. After witnessing the traces of history up close, we proceed to Yoruk Village. Here, we tour Sipahiler Konagi and the traditional laundry house. After the free time provided, we move to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation will take place at our hotel.

Day 2 Glass Terrace – Saffron Harvest – Return Journey
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we head to the glass terrace built over the magnificent İncekaya Canyon, which stands 80 meters high. We enjoy our pre-harvest coffee while taking in this beautiful view, and then proceed to the saffron fields where we will witness the harvest of saffron flowers, used extensively in the food, dye, and chemical industries, capable of coloring liquid up to 100,000 times their own weight. We sip saffron tea and learn more about saffron. After visiting this site, we begin our return journey. In the evening, we arrive in Istanbul and conclude our tour.
