Day 1 | Istanbul – Baku | Thursday
Meeting at 03:45 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After our ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, flight to Baku at 06:45 with Turkish Airlines flight TK332. Arrival at Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport at 10:30 local time. After our passport and baggage procedures, we depart from the airport with our vehicle to begin a panoramic Baku city tour. During our city tour, the Flame Towers, which have become the symbol of Baku, the National Assembly square, the Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery, Azerbaijan Martyrs’ Street and Monument, and panoramic viewpoints are among the places to be seen. Then we take an enjoyable journey by Funicular (or by our vehicle in case of extreme congestion) to the Old City; in Azerbaijani terms, “Icheri Sheher” for a visit. After a short walk, we see the Maiden Tower and Shirvanshahs’ Palace, included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, the old Mosque and Baths, and the Miniature Book Museum, and with our pleasant walks through the historic cobblestone streets of Icheri Sheher, we end our tour at the square considered the city center, Fountain Square. After our tour, upon arrival at our hotel, we complete the check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. We will spend the night at our hotel in Baku.
Day 2 | Baku | Friday [B]
After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Absheron Peninsula, Atashgah, Yanar Dag and Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center tour organized by our guide. We will spend the night at our hotel in Baku.

In our tour, we will visit the Atashgah Architectural Complex, one of the Three Zoroastrian Temples in the World, on the Absheron Peninsula, approximately 30 km from Baku. This structure, with its “Eternal Fire” altar, is one of the main pilgrimage sites according to the Zoroastrian faith. After our tour here, we will visit Yanar Dag, which the famous traveler Marco Polo called the “Land of Fire.” Located on an area of 65 hectares and continuing to burn for centuries thanks to the natural gas coming from beneath, this mountain is one of the most interesting places, and when we arrive there we will feel as if we are among the “Moon craters.” After the guide’s explanations in the area, we will observe the live volcano movements. After the tour, return to Baku and our hotel.
Day 3 | Baku | Saturday [B]
After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Gobustan tour organized by our guide. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Evening Azerbaijani night tour with dinner and music organized by our guide. We will spend the night at our hotel in Baku.

We will depart for Gobustan, located approximately 65 km southwest of Baku, the richest region of Azerbaijan in terms of archaeological artifacts and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Located near the Caspian Sea, on the old Shirvan road, Gobustan is also called an open-air museum. Here, with its carved rocks and pictured stones, it provides important information about the social life, hunting, animals, and vegetation of prehistoric and medieval periods throughout the world. Afterwards, we will continue our way to visit the Mud Volcanoes area, which is also close to Gobustan. This region, famous for its natural resources, is one of the most interesting places in Azerbaijan, which attracts attention because it contains half of the more than 700 Mud Volcanoes in the world, especially the largest ones, and when we arrive there we will feel as if we are among “Moon craters.” After the guide’s explanations in the region, we will observe the live volcano movements. After the tour, return to Baku and our hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and have free time until transfer time. Guests who wish may join the optional Surakhani ship museum tour organized by our guide. At the transfer time announced by our guide, we depart for Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport. After our ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, flight to Istanbul at 16:55 with Turkish Airlines flight TK341. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 19:10 local time and end of our tour. We bid farewell until we meet again on another distinguished and enjoyable trip.

In this tour, we will visit the Surakhani tanker, which played an important role in Azerbaijan's history of oil transportation by sea and was converted into a museum in 2017 after extensive maintenance and repair. Various innovative solutions were implemented in the halls of the Surakhani tanker museum, which is 123.5 meters long and weighs 4696 tons. Here, after learning about the history of the Caspian Sea, oil production in Absheron, the development of maritime affairs, ships counted among the world’s firsts, sea giants, navigation facilities that are an inseparable part of maritime affairs, sea knots with a history of approximately 5000 years, and the equipment used to operate ships, we will return to our hotel.
