ADANA – ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – SIENA – ROME
After completing the ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures at Çukurova Airport International Terminal, where we will be present 3 hours before the flight, we fly to Istanbul at 07:50 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC2081. We arrive at Istanbul S. Gökçen Airport at 09:25 local time. Then, with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1217, we fly to Bologna at 12:35. After arriving in Bologna at 14:20 local time, we depart for Siena by our private bus waiting for us. Siena is famous for its narrow medieval streets, small avenues, and Piazza del Campo, considered the largest square in Europe. After an enjoyable tour in Siena, where we will visit Piazza del Campo and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we head to our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro) program. Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this feature, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where the narrow streets opening onto squares, the enchanting lake and valley views blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons—called Urbs caput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world”—with its art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, and its buildings in different styles from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by competing architects attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome can carry even these crowds without suffocating the visitor, with all its beauty and aesthetics. On our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, the Colosseum, the ancient theater that became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city in imperial times, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that anyone who throws a coin in it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo will be among the panoramic sights. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. Within this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro) program. On our tour, which will begin with views of Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of the Angels and Navona Square, we visit the Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the world’s smallest country by area. We offer free time in San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship and where the Pope greets the public from his office on special days, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 saints’ statues, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel as though we are residents of the city ourselves, Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto areas, as well as the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by two bridges, will be among the panoramic sights, where in addition to its naturalness and simplicity, we will experience the true Italian atmosphere with its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops. After the walking tour through its maze-like narrow backstreets with small tables set out, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (Sorrento, the Pearl of Amalfi, or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Naples. After arrival in Naples, on our panoramic city tour we will see Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. Following the city tour, within the free time offered, guests who wish may join our extra Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro) program. We begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant and then visit Pompeii, which lies on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that erupted in 79 A.D. and destroyed the city; as a result of archaeologists’ long excavations in 1748, the city was revealed in all its vitality. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii.
Or, guests who wish may join our extra Sorrento, the Pearl of Amalfi Tour (80 Euro) program. After our city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, famous for its small tourist boutiques, dazzling beaches, breathtaking views, and Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, which fascinates its visitors by combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style and has a history dating back to prehistoric times, we offer free time.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – FLORENCE – (Pisa Tour)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Florence. En route, guests who wish may join our extra San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro) program. San Gimignano, which has found its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to this day, is also known as the “Town of Fine Towers” thanks to 14 architectural marvel towers that survived from 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing tour in San Gimignano’s narrow streets, each opening onto the town square and creating the feeling of a journey back in time to the Middle Ages, and its squares from which we can panoramically see the 14 magnificent towers, we continue our journey to Florence and organize our city tour upon arrival. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the birthplace of Pinocchio, on our city tour we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately draws attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is its bronze door, called the “Gate of Paradise,” where episodes of the prophets, some of which are also mentioned in the Qur’an, are symbolically depicted. Then, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Signoria Square, the political and social center of Florence for centuries and home to Michelangelo’s famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and goldsmith shops, will be among the sights. After the Florence city tour, we head to our hotel in the Florence region where we will stay overnight. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Pisa Tour (50 Euro) program. Upon arrival in Pisa, on our tour we will see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracoli Square among the sights. FLORENCE – (Cinque Terre Tour by Train) – BOLOGNA – VENICE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bologna. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Cinque Terre Tour by Train (75 Euro) program. Cinque Terre is a region on Italy’s Ligurian coast known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes running parallel to the shore, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transport between villages via walking routes and train connections. After completing our tour with a sightseeing visit in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, we continue our journey to Bologna. Bologna is located in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region and is known as one of the country’s oldest university cities. The city stands out with its medieval architecture, long porticoed walkways, and lively squares. Upon arrival in the city, we begin our panoramic Bologna city tour. First, Piazza Maggiore, considered the heart of the city, and around the square, Basilica di San Petronio, Palazzo Comunale, and Palazzo del Podestà are among the structures to be seen panoramically. During the panoramic city tour, we will also see the iconic Asinelli and Garisenda Towers (Due Torri) of Bologna panoramically and have a short photo break here. Then, walking along the UNESCO-protected Bologna Porticoes, we will feel the city’s historical texture up close. During the city tour, we will see the Archiginnasio Palace (the historical center of the University of Bologna) panoramically, and then proceed through narrow streets and squares, having the opportunity to experience the city atmosphere at leisure. At the end of the city tour, after the free time offered, we set off for Venice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Venice region, room assignment and free time to rest.
VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour)
After breakfast, within the full day free time offered, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour (125 Euro – Vaporetto transportation fees included) program. In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic landmarks such as St. Mark’s Square, built from stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower; then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we organize our Colorful Islands program. On this tour, where we will have the chance to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see Lido and Murano islands from the sea and visit Burano Island, the fishing village famous for its lace and known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Venice region and offer free time to rest.
VENICE – (Verona & Sirmione Tour) – MILAN
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Verona & Sirmione Tour (65 Euro) program. Our first visit point on the tour will be Verona. Located on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, Verona also hosts Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and is also home to the famous work Romeo and Juliet, written by the renowned English writer Shakespeare, which tells the world’s greatest love story known today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, where we will walk along Via Mazzini (main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and also see Verona Cathedral, we arrive at our next destination, Sirmione. Welcoming us with the Scaligero Castle dating back to the 13th century, Sirmione, the pearl of Lake Garda, is a town that has become a focus of tourists with its medieval streets; during our panoramic tour we will see buildings and houses covered with bougainvillea, and enjoy a pleasant excursion accompanied by the scent of lemon trees surrounding the area. After the free time we will offer for a pleasant sightseeing tour, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless artworks such as the fresco of the Last Supper by the great master Leonardo Da Vinci. Although it is Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences; during our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galeria, where many famous brands are located and where you can shop with pleasure, and Porta Romano will be among the sights. After the Milan city tour, following the free time offered, transfer to our hotel in the Milan region where we will stay overnight. Room assignment and free time to rest.
MILAN – OUTLET – (Como Tour)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart to visit the outlet center.
After a pleasant free time for affordable and quality shopping at the outlet center, which hosts stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we head to Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flight to Adana. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Como Tour (50 Euro) program. Upon arrival in Como, on our tour we will visit Lake Como, famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, home to summer houses of Hollywood celebrities, Europe’s rich, and the global jet set, and we will have a photo break accompanied by the unique view of the lake. At the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flight to Adana.
MILAN – ADANA
After the baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures to be completed upon our arrival at the airport, we fly to Adana at 02:05 with Turkish Airlines’ direct and special flight TK3453. Arrival at Çukurova Airport at 04:55 local time, and the end of our tour.
