ADANA – VERONA – (Venice Masterpieces Tour) – VENICE
We arrive at Çukurova Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before departure to complete ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures, then fly to Milan at 02:05 with Turkish Airlines’ direct special flight TK3453. After landing at Milan Malpensa Airport at 04:55 local time, we depart for Verona by our private bus waiting for us. Verona, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, is home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and also hosts the home of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the world’s most famous love story. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, which we will carry out on foot along Via Mazzini (main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and head to our hotel in the Venice region. VENICE – (Florence Masterpieces Tour with Lunch) – ROME
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Rome. En route, guests who wish may join the extra Florence Masterpieces Tour with Lunch (65 Euro). Upon arrival in Florence, we begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately stands out with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” where scenes from the lives of prophets, some of whom are also mentioned in the Qur’an, are depicted. Later, the Giotto Bell Tower, once used to call the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous statue of David is also located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jeweler shops, are among the places to be seen. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this reason, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets open onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley view blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, the city called Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” offering art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the creations of architects who competed with each other draw thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome can carry even these crowds without overwhelming the visitor, with all its beauty and elegance. We offer free time at St. Peter’s Square (San Pietro Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather for worship every year, and where on special occasions the Pope comes out from his office to greet the public, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest cathedral with statues of 140 saints, is located. After the free time offered, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city ourselves, we will experience the real Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, with its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops, as well as Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto districts, along with the Ancient Tiber Island, which is connected to the city by 2 bridges, all as panoramic sights. After breakfast, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, in our panoramic city tour, Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola are among the places to be seen. After the city tour, during the free time offered, guests who wish may join the extra Lunch Pompei Tour (80 Euro). We begin the tour with lunch at a local restaurant and visit Pompeii, which lies at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that erupted in 79 AD and destroyed the city; thanks to long excavations carried out by archaeologists in 1748, the city has been revealed in all its vitality. After the city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento, located on the Amalfi coast, famous for its small tourist boutiques, stunning beaches, breathtaking views, and Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, and captivating visitors by combining its Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, we offer free time.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Siena & San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Pisa. En route, guests who wish may join the extra Siena & San Gimignano Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Siena. Siena is famous for its medieval narrow streets, small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After an enjoyable visit in Siena on Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we arrive at San Gimignano, our tour’s next stop. San Gimignano has earned a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to this day, and it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural wonder towers that survived amid wars and natural disasters from an original 76 towers. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart to arrange our Milan city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences. During our tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. After the free time offered at the end of the tour, we complete our city tour and depart to arrange our outlet center tour program. On our tour, we will offer free time at the outlet center, which hosts stylish shops belonging to Italy’s most prestigious brands that shape global fashion trends, as well as cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas. After this free time for pleasant and affordable shopping, we head to Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flight to Adana. En route, guests who wish may join the extra Como Tour (50 Euro). Como is a center located in the Lombardy region and stands out with its historical structures and orderly urban fabric. The city squares, cathedral, and shoreline offer visitors a compact and easily accessible area to explore. After completing baggage delivery, check-in, and passport control at the airport, we fly to Adana at 00:45 with Turkish Airlines’ direct special flight TK3252. Arrival at Çukurova Airport at 05:10 local time and the end of our tour.
