DAY 01: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – CATANIA – ETNA
After entering from Gate 3 at Istanbul Airport, we meet our valued guests in front of THY international F check-in counters (counters 1-27) at 04:15 and complete check-in procedures. Departure to Catania at 08:10 on THY flight TK1393. Arrival in Catania at 08:35 local time. We take our panoramic tour with the vehicle waiting for us. Then we begin our Etna tour. As we head toward Etna, we have the opportunity to take magnificent photos of Mount Etna, which welcomes us with its vegetation and scenery. Along the way, we will see Silvestri, the second crater at an altitude of 1800 meters, on Etna, Europe’s highest active volcanic mountain. Don’t forget to take home some of the smoky rocks as a souvenir! Our tour will end in the region formed by the lava of Mount Etna, with many scenic views where we can take photos. Then we return to our hotel.

DAY 02: SAVOCA – TAORMINA – GIARDINI NAXOS – CATANIA
After breakfast, we start our full-day excursion at the time specified in advance by our guide. On our Savoca, Taormina, and Giardini Naxos tour, we will see the places where the world-famous film “The Godfather” was shot. Then Bar Vitelli and San Michele Church are among the places we will see. After passing through movie-like streets, we head to Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea and the most beautiful coastal city in Sicily. We visit this charming city, located at the foot of Mount Tauro, with its streets, souvenir shops, and avenues. Then we move on to Giardini Naxos, famous for its captivating volcanic beach and colorful streets. In this cultural mosaic, where Greeks settled in the 6th century BC and later Phoenicians and Romans lived, you can take magnificent photos. Return to our hotel at the end of the tour.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel for our full-day Siracusa tour. In Siracusa, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, we see the Arethusa Fountain, the Cathedral, the Diana Fountain, and the Temple of Apollo. Then we return to Catania. Among the places we will see panoramically in Catania city center are the Duomo Cathedral, Fontana dell’Elefante, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Etna Street. Transfer to our hotel after free time.

After breakfast, we hand in our room keys at reception, check out, and head to Catania Airport. Departure to Malta at 07:35 on Air Malta flight KM641, arrival at 08:15. After hotel check-in, we start our Gozo tour with our guide. We cross to Gozo Island by ferry from Cirkewwa Port. In the peaceful and green Gozo, we visit Dwejra, which hosted films such as Troy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones, and then the T’Pino Church, a place of vows. We will have the opportunity to taste local products such as honey, carob, liqueur, and cheese. Then free time in the fishing village of Xelendi. In Victoria Rabat, we see St. George’s Basilica and stroll the streets. At the end of the tour, return to Malta from Mgarr Port and transfer to our hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the bus with our luggage. Our full-day tour begins. We visit the Santa Maria Assunta Church in Mosta, which has the third-largest dome in Europe. Then we move on to Mdina, where some scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed. After seeing historical structures such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Carmelite Church, we take a break at Fontanella Cafe. Then we explore the capital, Valletta. Our final stop is Marsaxlokk Fishing Village. We enjoy our time with colorful boats and a lively market. Afterwards, transfer to the airport and departure to Istanbul at 19:15 on THY flight TK1372. Arrival at 22:45 and the end of our tour.
