We arrive at the International Terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport 3 hours before our flight, complete baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, and then fly to Brussels at 08:55 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC921. After arriving at Brussels Charleroi Airport at 10:25 local time, we depart with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport to organize our Luxembourg city tour. Luxembourg is the world leader in terms of per capita income according to IMF and World Bank data. The capital city, which bears the same name as the country, Luxembourg, is protected by the UNESCO World Heritage List, and it is the only city that has managed to become European Capital of Culture twice, in 1995 and 2007. After our city tour in Luxembourg, one of the smallest countries in Europe in terms of area, we head to our hotel in the Luxembourg region. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head toward our hotel in the Alsace region. On the way, our guests who wish may join the extra Strasbourg program (50 Euro). Strasbourg, located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, will welcome us like something out of a fairy tale, as beautiful as a painting. Included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg will be explored on foot in its vehicle-free center and streets; among the places we will see are Petite France, famous for its Alsace Houses that make us feel right in the middle of a fairy-tale land, Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in its very heart, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house, which continues to serve today as a hotel and restaurant. During the free time after the tour, our guests who wish may join the extra Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, we will first go to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and Petite Venise (Little Venice), the city’s most famous district with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In the unique atmosphere surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will have the opportunity to find many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as many souvenirs. The next stop of our tour will be Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards in the Alsace region, flower-decorated balconies, distinctive row of shops, cobblestone streets closed to cars, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés; with its tower, which also houses the Dolder Museum that preserves the city’s story with documents, it will not fall short of the Grimm fairy tales. ALSACE – (Bern & Gruyeres Tour) – LAUSANNE – GENEVA
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Lausanne. On the way, our guests who wish may join the extra Bern & Gruyeres Tour (70 Euro). We first arrive in Bern. Bern is one of the only cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Bern, located within the borders of Switzerland and where the official language is German, also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our city tour in Bern, which is built around the Aare River, we head to Gruyeres. Chosen as Switzerland’s most beautiful village in 2014 and the birthplace of the world-famous Gruyère cheese, Gruyères is a fairy-tale village that has preserved its medieval character unchanged to this day, giving its name to the region and to the region’s world-famous cheese, with flower-adorned houses and streets. Located on a hill at an altitude of 800 m in the upper valley of the Saane River and with no vehicle traffic, this village is known not only for its cheese but also for Switzerland’s famous dish fondue. After the surrounding sightseeing we will offer in Gruyères, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Lausanne. Upon arrival in Lausanne, we arrange our city tour. Lausanne holds a very important place in our national history because it hosted the Treaty of Lausanne, signed on 24 July 1923, and it is also one of the important episcopal centers of the Middle Ages. After breakfast and hotel check-out, transfer to our hotel in the Paris region. Guests who wish may join the extra Geneva – Paris Outlet Tour with High-Speed Train Access (95 Euro). In this program, we first travel comfortably from Geneva to Paris by high-speed train in just 3 hours. Upon arriving at the train station in Paris, we begin our tour with our guide. (On this tour, which will be organized depending on sufficient number of participants, the tour guide will accompany the guests who purchase the High-Speed Train Outlet Tour program and will travel with them to Paris by high-speed train.) We offer free time at the outlet center, which provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy and experience convenient shopping among the stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas. PARIS – (Paris Highlights Tour and Seine River Boat Tour) – (Paris Icons Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Paris Highlights and Seine River Boat Tour (85 Euro). We begin our Paris Highlights tour with the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris and even France. Built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Paris Exposition Universelle, this structure made of steel and iron was not demolished after attracting great attention from tourists during and after the 1889 Universal Exhibition, and has remained standing to this day. We offer free time around the Eiffel Tower for photography and sightseeing. During this free time, guests who wish may go up to the 2nd floor of the tower, which consists of 3 sections (floors) and each section is reached by elevator, and enjoy Paris’s unique view while taking beautiful photos (Optional Eiffel Tower elevator ascent fee is 23€, not included in the extra tour price). After our Eiffel tour, we arrange a Seine River boat tour. (Boat tour is included in the extra tour fee.) The 776 km long Seine River, one of the most famous rivers in the world, divides the city into two. During the tour we will make on the long boats slowly moving along the river, we will see many famous buildings of Paris and the 37 bridges over the river from a unique angle. After our Seine River excursion, we pass through Invalides Square, view the Lady Diana Memorial, the 17th-century royal entertainment center Palais Royal, and the Comédie-Française Square, which includes many historical buildings including the French National Theater, panoramically, then arrive at the BENLUX Store, which has been the international center of Paris fashion with its perfumes since 1959, and we give free time for shopping and sightseeing. Guests who wish may visit the Louvre Museum, which was built as a fortress for defensive purposes in the Middle Ages but began to be used as a museum after the French Revolution, and which was visited by nearly 10 million people in 2012, after the photo stop we will make, during the free time to be given (Optional Louvre Museum entrance fee is 33€, not included in the extra tour price). After touring the Sacré-Cœur Basilica (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) rising atop this 130-meter hill (the transportation fee by funicular is included in the extra tour price), we will have free time for your portrait to be drawn and for sightseeing in the square of painters. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Brussels. On the way, our guests who wish may join the extra Bruges Tour (50 Euro). Known as “the Venice of Belgium” because of its houses in the water and streets made of canals, Bruges is known as a true dream city. The city’s historical fabric and medieval architecture, which were fortunately not damaged during World War II, have survived to this day. The one-story, colorful, cake-like houses, churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets that appear before us in the city square will draw us into a fairy tale. After our city tour in Bruges, we continue our journey to Brussels. Upon arrival in Brussels, we arrange our city tour. Brussels, which is considered the capital of Europe and the European Union because it hosts many institutions related to both Belgium and the European Union and NATO, is a city that has managed to preserve many historical artifacts throughout its history. On our tour, Dam Square, the Royal Palace, and Central Station are among the main places to be seen. After our tour, where we discover the city from different angles by walking through Amsterdam’s local neighborhoods and narrow streets famous for their walking paths and canals and visiting its world-famous streets, we offer free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join the extra Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills Tour (75 Euro). We first arrive in Volendam on our tour. Volendam is a fishing town, and we complete our program with a walking tour along the streets surrounded by well-kept and beautiful houses and the seaside road full of restaurants and cafés, then head to Zaandam. Located in the north of the country by the Zaan River, Zaandam is among the favorites of Instagram influencers with its modern shopping opportunities and its identity as an open-air museum where historical traditional green Zaan houses meet. After the sightseeing and free time we will provide in Zaandam, which bears the title of being the place where the first McDonald’s restaurant in Europe was opened, we head to Zaanse Schans, the final stop of our tour. With its windmills, museums, nature, and culture, this historic town is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Netherlands. After our Zaanse Schans visit, where we will see mills used today in paint and oil production as well as shops where we can find examples of handmade souvenirs such as wooden clogs, (entrance fees to the ruins site are included in the extra tour fee.
