After an enjoyable train journey of approximately 2 hours, we arrive in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set, and after free time and a short excursion in line with the train departure time on the Bernina railway line, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, we head to our hotel in the Alsace region. After breakfast, we head to Freiburg. Along the way, guests who wish may join our extra tour program, Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Strasbourg Tour (80 Euro). In our tour, we first go to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the most famous part of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In the unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will find both many delicious foods to suit your taste and many souvenir shopping opportunities. The next stop of our tour will be Strasbourg, located on the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, which will welcome us like something out of a fairy tale, with the beauty of a painting. Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s car-free center and streets will be explored on a panoramic city tour on foot; Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the very heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still serving as a hotel and restaurant today, are among the places we will see. Located within Switzerland and with German as its official language, the influence of German culture is also seen in Bern’s architecture. The first stop of our tour will be Interlaken. We will carry out our tour in Interlaken, which takes its name from “inter-lakes” due to its location between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun and is famous for its natural beauty and the enchanting views of these beauties. During the walk we will take through the narrow, winding, and car-free streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop.
