We will gather at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before the flight and complete ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures. Afterward, we fly to Ljubljana with Turkish Airlines direct scheduled flight TK1061 at 07:30. Upon arrival at Ljubljana Airport at 08:45 local time, we meet our private coach and head to Trieste. During our Trieste tour, main highlights include Piazza Unita Building, San Giusto Basilica, Campo Square, and especially Piazza Unita d’Italia, considered one of Italy’s most impressive squares due to its seaside location, elegant and serene grandeur, and the fact that it features both Italian and Central European architecture. Trieste is also known as the birthplace of the world-famous Illy Coffee, because for centuries it was one of the main ports of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and coffee beans were largely distributed to Europe from here. After our tour in Trieste and a short free time, we depart for our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Ferrara Tour (40 Euro). After the tour, where we will panoramicly see the Renaissance-style areas and architectural structures on one side, and the region’s characteristic old brick houses, churches, monasteries, and the historic Este Castle reflecting medieval traces on the other, we continue our journey to Florence. FLORENCE – (Pisa & Cinque Terre by Train Tour)
After breakfast at the hotel, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Pisa & Cinque Terre by Train Tour (95 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre consists of villages lined up one after another and connected by walking paths. It is located on Italy’s west coast, known for its colorful houses and distinctive local flavors. Thanks to its culture and historical features, it is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and is also protected as a national park. After free time in Cinque Terre, we continue our journey to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, we will visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and Miracoli Square. After a short free time for photos, transfer to our hotel in the Florence region and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (San Gimignano & Siena Tour) – ROME
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Rome. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional San Gimignano & Siena Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop will be San Gimignano. San Gimignano, which has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, has earned its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List; it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural marvels that survived from 76 towers after wars and natural disasters. In the streets that make you feel as if time has stopped and you have traveled back to the Middle Ages, and in the squares where each street opens, we will panoramicly see the 14 magnificent towers during our walking tour. Afterward, we reach Siena, our next stop. Siena is famous for its narrow streets and lanes dating back to the Middle Ages and Campo Square, considered one of the largest squares in Europe. After a pleasant tour of Campo Square and the historic narrow streets leading to it, we complete our program and continue our journey to Rome. ROME – (Rome Icons & Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome Icons & Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour (95 Euro). In Rome, the “city at the center of the world,” or Urbs aput mundi, we take you on a historical journey through the city and its icons, where art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine come together, with buildings in styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the masterpieces created by rivaling architects attract thousands of tourists in every season, Rome carries all this beauty and elegance without overwhelming even in the midst of the crowds. During our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the city’s symbol and an ancient theater that hosted gladiator fights during the Roman Empire; the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city in imperial times; the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that anyone who throws a coin will return to Rome; the Spanish Steps, famous for street performers; and Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo, all from the outside. After the Rome Icons Tour, we offer free time at the Pantheon. We then see Castel Sant’Angelo, the Angel’s Castle, and Navona Square, and visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the world’s smallest country by area. Sorrento, whose history dates back to prehistoric times and which combines Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, fascinates its visitors with its small boutiques, stunning beaches, breathtaking views, and the famous Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello. After our city tour and surroundings in Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast, we offer free time for sea, sand, and sun at the area’s most beautiful beaches. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, we begin our city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we first see from the outside the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately stands out with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is its bronze doors, called the “Gates of Paradise,” where scenes representing prophetic stories mentioned in the Quran are depicted. Next, we see Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the people to the parliament, the Signoria Square, which for centuries was the political and social center of Florence and houses Michelangelo’s famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops. After breakfast, during the full day of free time offered, guests who wish may join the optional Venice Masterpieces & Islands by Boat and Outlet Tour (135 Euro – Vaporetto transportation included). First, we offer pleasant free time at the outlet center, home to world-famous brands’ stylish shops, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas, for affordable and quality shopping. After the free time, we depart for our Venice Colorful Islands program. On this tour, where we will have the chance to observe Venice from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see Lido and Murano from the sea and visit Burano Island, a fishing village famous for its lacework and known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. After the Colorful Islands program, we move to the canals area to organize our Venice Masterpieces program.
