Day 1 ISTANBUL – ROME – VATICAN (San Pietro)
We meet at Istanbul Airport, in the international departures terminal, three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we proceed to our private bus waiting for us at the airport after our flight to Rome on Turkish Airlines scheduled service. We depart for San Pietro Square in Vatican, considered the center of Christianity. After our arrival, there will be free time for the Basilica and Square visit, and then we depart for the city tour of Rome. On our city tour, places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Venice Square where Mussolini addressed the public and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, the Colosseum which hosted gladiator fights, the Fountain of Lovers made famous by the movie La Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps with the sunken boat fountain. Day 2 ROME – CASTEL GONDOLFO & LAKE NEMI & LAKE ALBANO – OUTLET – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Castel Gondolfo region. This area, known as Nemi Village, will welcome you with colorful houses adorned with flowers in their windows, stone streets, charming shops where famous natural strawberries are sold and displayed, and breathtaking lake views that will make you feel as if you are in a fairy tale. During our visit to Castel Gondolfo, situated on the shores of Lake Albano, we continue our walk in this area where we will see the Pope’s summer palace. We take a little journey into history in this unique town, which was also used as the summer palace of many Roman emperors throughout history. Then we depart for an outlet visit so you can shop. Day 3 ROME – PIENZA – SAN GIMIGNANO – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Pienza, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is considered one of the finest examples of Renaissance urban planning. In this charming Tuscan town, the birthplace of Pope Pius II and rebuilt with the concept of the “ideal city,” we enjoy a pleasant walk accompanied by views of Pienza Cathedral, Palazzo Piccolomini, and Val d’Orcia. After free time in Pienza, known worldwide for its Pecorino cheeses, we set off for San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as if you have stepped back into the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries, as well as Cisterno Square. Day 4 FLORENCE – PORTOFINO – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our next stop, Portofino, the darling of the jet set and the subject of songs that made a big impact such as “I Found My Love in Portofino.” According to the Roman writer and philosopher Pliny, this charming fishing town, whose name derives from the abundance of dolphins surrounding the entire bay and which began as Portus Delphini and evolved into its present form, attracts attention with its narrow streets, slender colorful houses, and various fish dishes. After our boat tour in Portofino, we head to Pisa. Pisa is famous for its leaning tower, considered one of the most important historical monuments known worldwide. During the panoramic tour in the evening lights, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracle Square will be among the places seen, and our guests who wish may take photos to their heart’s content in this historic city. Day 5 FLORENCE – VENICE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Florence city tour. On the city tour, in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we first view from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, with its orange dome that immediately catches the eye and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most remarkable features is the bronze door (baptistery door - gate of paradise), where scenes from the lives of the prophets described in the Old Testament section of the Bible and some mentioned in the Quran are represented. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the people to parliament; Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous David statue is located; and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After our tour, transfer to your Venice hotel and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 6 VENICE – MILAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Venice city tour. During our tour in Venice, there will be commentary on the Vaporetto, and we will see major iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble and with its columns brought from Istanbul; St. Mark’s Basilica; the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs; and the historic Campanile Bell Tower. After the tour, at the time announced by our guide, we depart for Milan. En route, we stop for a photo break with Lake Garda views in Peschiera. After our tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan. Day 7 MILAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our program with a Milan city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art. Although it is Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right place for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences. During our tour, we will see the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galleria where many famous brands are located and where you can enjoy shopping, and Porta Romano, and free time will be given. After our tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan and free time to relax. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 8 MILAN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the rooms and transfer to Milan airport at the time announced by your guide. Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Istanbul. With our arrival at Istanbul Airport, the end of our tour and services.
