Day 1 | Istanbul – Tokyo
Meeting at 15:25 in front of the ANA (All Nippon Airways) counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After our ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, flight to Tokyo at 18:25 with ANA’s NH220 service. Overnight on board.
Day 2 | Istanbul – Tokyo – Osaka
Landing at Tokyo Haneda Airport at 11:35 local time. After our passport and transit procedures, flight to Osaka at 13:00 with ANA’s NH025 service. Landing at Osaka Itami Airport at 14:10 local time. After our baggage procedures, we begin our panoramic Osaka tour by vehicle from the airport. During our tour, the main sights we will see will be Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century and played an important role in the unification of the Japanese nation, Dotonbori, which has become Osaka’s entertainment center, and Shinsaibashi, the city’s main shopping district. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. We complete check-in and settle into our rooms. Overnight at our 4* Hotel Plaza Osaka (etc.) in Osaka.

After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Kyoto tour organized by our guide. Overnight at our 4* Hotel Plaza Osaka (etc.) in Osaka.

After about a 1-hour journey, our first stop will be Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion. This three-story pavilion covered in gold leaf is one of Kyoto's most famous and well-known historic structures and is recognized worldwide as a perfect example of the art of Kitayama garden design. Thanks to these features, as of 1994 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as an important cultural asset of the former capital Kyoto. We will continue our tour with Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a Buddhist temple also known as the Pure Water Monastery. The temple offers beautiful views of the distant city of Kyoto, as well as many cherry and maple trees bursting into a colorful sea in spring and autumn. The main hall, built without nails together with the stage, houses the temple’s principal object of worship, a small statue of the eleven-headed, thousand-armed Kannon. After free time for lunch, we will walk through Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, the streets leading up to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Sannenzaka is a stone-paved pedestrian path and a tourist attraction. Surrounded by traditional buildings and shops, the road is often used together with a similar road, Ninenzaka. Sannenzaka is a narrow sloping path filled with about 60 shops and restaurants selling Kyoto’s traditional products and foods. There are also important shops where visitors can closely experience Japanese culture, including Ochaya (teahouses) where tea ceremonies are held, and makeup for Geiko (the name given to geishas in Kyoto) and Maiko (Geiko apprentices). In the final part of the tour we will visit Gion, Kyoto's famous geisha district. At the end of the tour, return to Osaka and our hotel.
Day 4 | Osaka | [B]
After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Sanda Premium Outlet and Nara tour organized by our guide. Overnight at our 4* Hotel Plaza Osaka (etc.) in Osaka.
Note: This morning, when leaving the hotel for the tour, we need to leave a small overnight bag in our room. The large suitcases we leave at the hotel will be transferred to our hotel in Tokyo before us and will reach us the next day.

We begin our tour with Sanda Premium Outlets, one of Japan's most popular shopping centers. This outlet center, home to around 210 stores, will let us find world-famous brands such as Coach, Michael Kors, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Onitsuka Tiger, The North Face, Polo Ralph Lauren and many more at advantageous prices. After the free time for shopping, we head to Nara, Japan's first capital. Our tour here begins with a visit to Nara Park. Nara Park is a public park located at the foot of Mount Wakakusa. It was established in 1880 and is one of Japan's oldest parks. The park is home to more than 1,200 wild Sika deer roaming freely. Because of these deer, it is also known as Deer Park. After the park, we continue with Todai-ji Temple. Todai-ji is not only the largest wooden structure in the world, but also houses the world’s largest Buddha statue, called Daibutsu in Japanese. At the end of our tour, return to Osaka and our hotel.
Day 5 | Osaka – Tokyo | [B]
After breakfast at our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and transfer to Shin-Osaka train station. With the Shinkansen, the world’s first high-speed train, we reach Tokyo Shinagawa train station after an approximately 3-hour journey. From here we begin our Tokyo tour by vehicle. Our first stop will be Akihabara, one of Tokyo’s world-famous neighborhoods. Akihabara is an extremely crowded shopping district famous for its various kinds of electronics stores, from small street stalls to very large shopping centers. After our tour in Akihabara, also known as the city of electronics, we continue with the Ginza district, one of the city’s most popular shopping areas, filled with luxury boutiques as well as top-class cocktail and sushi bars. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. We complete check-in and settle into our rooms. Overnight at our 3* Villa Fontaine Tokyo Kayabacho (etc.) hotel in Tokyo.

Our first stop will be Asakusa Temple, also known as Senso-Ji Temple, a Buddhist temple considered one of Tokyo’s oldest and most colorful temples. Also called Santa-jama (Temple of the Three Gods), the temple is highly popular with both tourists and locals. It is one of the few temples that survived the bombings in the final year of World War II, and for this reason the original structure of the building has not been disturbed. Built in 1649, the temple was reportedly constructed to honor the three brothers who were deified after finding a statue of the goddess Kannon in a river. We will also see the shopping street called Nakamise in the area. Afterwards we head to Tokyo Skytree, Japan's tallest structure and one of Tokyo’s symbols. This impressive 634-meter-high tower offers some of Tokyo’s most beautiful panoramic views. Guests who wish can go up to the observation deck and enjoy the city’s unique view (entrance fee not included). Then, with an enjoyable boat ride on the Sumida River, we explore Tokyo from a different angle. As we pass under historic bridges, we will have the opportunity to photograph the unique scenery created by modern skyscrapers and traditional Japanese architecture. After free time for lunch, we will visit the Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the spirits of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. After that, we will tour Shibuya, one of Tokyo’s busiest districts. One of the city’s most important areas for young people, Shibuya stands out with its advanced layout, cafes, and world-famous shops. After our tour, return to the hotel.

We will begin our tour with Mount Fuji, about 2.5 hours away. Having earned its place on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2013, Mount Fuji is considered the highest mountain in Japan and the sacred symbol of the country. Although Mount Fuji is generally thought of as a single mountain, it actually consists of three separate volcanoes. Located on the island of Honshu and on the border between Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures, Mount Fuji is only 100 kilometers from Tokyo and can even be seen from tall buildings in Tokyo on a cloudless day. After the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji, we will head toward the town of Hakone. We begin our Hakone tour with the Owakudani Valley, a volcanic formation. Owakudani is a valley around a crater formed during the last eruption of Mount Hakone about 3,000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic region with sulfurous fumes, hot springs, and hot rivers. We will go up by cable car from Togendai and enjoy the view of this magnificently beautiful valley. After the free time for lunch, we will proceed to Ashi Lake. After a pleasant boat ride of about 30 minutes on the lake with a wooden pirate ship, we will return to Tokyo and our hotel by vehicle.
Day 8 | Tokyo – Istanbul | [B]
After having a box breakfast from our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and transfer to Tokyo Haneda Airport. After our ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, flight to Istanbul at 08:30 with ANA’s NH219 service. Landing at Istanbul Airport at 16:10 local time and end of our tour. We bid farewell, hoping to meet again on our next distinguished and enjoyable trip.
