Meeting at Istanbul Airport international departures terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Barcelona at 07.55 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. After arrival at 10.35 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. 2.Day Barcelona – Girona & Figueras (Dali Museum) – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra tour to be organized, The Pearls of Magnificent Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) tour. (70 Euro) Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, historic buildings, museums, churches, and walls. On the tour we will take here, the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to be seen. After our tour, we set off toward the city of Figueras. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something at this place where he was born and to exhibit his works. This museum today has the largest Dali collection and is referred to as Dali’s greatest work because Dali designed every part of it. The museum contains more than 4000 works by Dali created using different techniques. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. 3.Day Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra Gaudi’s Magnificent Work Park Guell & Gothic Quarter tour. (60 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is Park Guell. Park Guell, one of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This park, called a fairy-tale park, creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairs and imaginary pavilions. After seeing Gaudi’s magnificent work, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historic fabric with its narrow, labyrinthine streets from the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the district are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Sitges Tour (40 Euro) Sitges is a charming coastal town located southwest of Barcelona, on the Mediterranean coast. It is famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, and is also known for its art and cultural events and hosts many art galleries, museums, and festivals. We will begin our trip with the magical stairs of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla cathedral and lose ourselves in its historic streets. This cathedral, dating from the 17th century, was built on the remains of old Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey is the historic streets of Sitges; within the city center from the Middle Ages, the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the exquisite examples of Modernism, is a true paradise for collection enthusiasts. Right opposite it is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. As he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he also took on the greatest role in making the town so well known.
