Meeting 3 hours before departure at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure to Porto at 06.45 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1449. After our arrival at 09.45 local time, our city tour of Porto begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Porto is the country’s second largest city and is famous for its unique architecture, colorful houses and narrow streets. During the city tour we will take, our first stop will be Boavista, known as the modern trade and business center. Then our next stop will be the Queijo castle borders located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. From here we proceed along the riverbanks toward the center of Porto, passing through the Foz district, an old fishing village where the Douro River flows into the ocean. Our route will start from Carmo Square. Passing by the historic Lello bookstore and Clerigos Church, we will descend to Aliados Square. Bento Station, Sao Francisco Church, the Stock Exchange Palace, Porto Cathedral, Liberty Square, Batalha Square, Santa Catarina, the city’s most famous shopping street, I. Luis Bridge, and Arrabida Bridge will be among the places we will see. Our tour will end with the exploration of the Ribeira district on the banks of the Douro River, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
2.Day Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the extra Grand Guimaraes & Bom Jesus de Monte & Braga tour. (65 Euro) Guimaraes is a historic city located in northern Portugal and is one of the country’s most important cultural and historical centers. Also known as the “birthplace of Portugal,” Guimarães has great historical significance because it was the place where the Kingdom of Portugal was founded in the 12th century. The city resembles an open-air museum with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and structures dating back to the Middle Ages. In this walking tour we will take in this beautiful city, which was chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2012, the medieval castle, churches that are original works of Portuguese architecture, magnificent gardens, historic houses and streets will remain in our memories. After our tour, we move on to our next stop, Bom Jesus do Monte. After descending the winding stairs, described as a labyrinth in front of Bom Jesus Cathedral, built in neoclassical style by Carlos Amarante between 1784 and 1857, we head to Braga. Built by the Romans 2000 years ago Braga, known as the “Rome of Portugal” because of this, is one of the oldest settlements in the country. Its charming historic streets, colorful squares and traditional buildings will take you centuries back as you wander. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
3.Day Porto – Fatima – Obidos – Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off toward Lisbon. Our first stop on the way is Fatima. This place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three little shepherds in 1917 and gave them three secrets, is one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers of Christianity. Then our next stop is Obidos. When you arrive in Obidos, you will feel as if you have traveled centuries back in time. The people living in this small town still walk around in traditional clothes on certain days of the week, bringing history to life. In the enjoyable walking tour we will take in the city, its narrow streets, small churches, beautiful houses and shops will remain in our memories. After our tour, we move on to Lisbon. Along the way, guests who wish can join the extra Grand Budda Eden Garden tour. (40 Euro) Budda Eden was designed inspired by Asian cultures and welcomes thousands of tourists every year as a large open-air art gallery. The garden is full of ancient Asian sculptures, large Buddhist figures and many works reflecting traditional Chinese philosophy. It also stands out with its Japanese gardens, artificial ponds and captivating vegetation. After the tour here, we head to Lisbon.Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal, and one of Europe’s oldest capitals. This historic city, located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, attracts attention with its impressive views, colorful neighborhoods and rich cultural heritage. In our tour, first we will visit the church section of Jeronimos Monastery, then stop for a photo break at Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries on the banks of the Tagus River. After taking a short walk in the Alfama district, which is the city’s oldest area and suffered the least damage from the 1755 earthquake, takes its name from the Arabic word for bath and can only be explored on foot, we will return to our vehicle. Along the way we will pass through the Baixa district from Praça do Comercio, Rossio and Restauradores squares, and after the photo break given on the upper terrace of Eduardo Park overlooking Marques de Pombal Square at the end of Liberdade Avenue, where stylish boutiques are located, we complete our tour and transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish can join the extra Grand Fado Night tour with dinner. (65 Euro) Fado is an emotional musical style that tells the history, love, loss and nostalgia of the Portuguese people. 4.Day Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the extra Grand Pearls of Lisbon (Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo de Roca) tour. (70 Euro) Sintra is a fascinating town located north of Lisbon and listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city is famous for its rich history and extraordinary nature. The most striking structure in Sintra is Pena Palace, built in the 19th century. With its colorful and fairy-tale appearance, this palace, visible from the city’s hills, has become the symbol of Sintra. After our tour here, our second stop will be Cabo de Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, where we will set foot. Proceeding along the ocean coast, we first reach the Guincho cape and then the “Boca de Inferno” rock formation near Cascais. Then we move on to Cascais, our third stop. In Cascais, a charming holiday town on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, after visiting the fishing harbor, our next stop is the Estoril district, famous for its casino. Estoril historically became one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations in the early 20th century, especially preferred by royal families and wealthy tourists. One of the most famous places in the city is Estoril Casino, a large casino. After our tour here, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
5.Day Lisbon – Seville
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Seville. Seville is a city in Spain’s Andalusia region, famous for its historical and cultural richness. During the city tour we will take in Seville, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, first we will see the Plaza de Espana and the Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, the Seville Cathedral (from outside), the third largest cathedral in the world, which also contains the tomb of Christopher Columbus, and right next to the cathedral the Giralda Minaret, which carries the memory of the Umayyad State of Andalusia and is the last remaining part of the mosque on which the cathedral was built, and the Alcazar Palace (from outside) are among the places to be seen. Then, passing through the Indies Archives, where records of all sea voyages made to the American continent from the discovery until the 19th century were kept, we will reach the old narrow streets of the Santa Cruz district, called “old” Seville. At the end of our walk, after seeing the Torre del Oro, the Golden Tower, which was used as the central campus of Seville University, formerly a tobacco factory and today a maritime museum, we transfer to our hotel in Seville after the tour. (55 Euro) Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of flamenco culture in Spain. The city is famous for its traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. 6.Day Seville – Ronda – Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Granada. On the way, guests who wish can join the extra Grand Town of Ronda tour. (35 Euro) Ronda is a famous mountain town located in Spain’s Andalusia region, standing out with its historical and natural beauty. The city is especially known for the deep valley and the historic bridge over it, Puente Nuevo. This bridge was built in the 18th century, has become the symbol of Ronda, and is built over the El Tajo Canyon that divides the city into two. Ronda also has a historic bullfighting arena and is considered one of the oldest bullfighting arenas in the world. After our tour here, Granada is a city full of history and culture located in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain’s leading tourist destinations and welcomes millions of visitors every year. During the city tour we will take here, Gran Via Street, BibRambla and Town Squares, Granada Cathedral (from outside), Granada’s first university Madraza, the Silk Bazaar and the old Nasrid Caravanserai are among the places to be seen. After our tour, guests who wish can join the extra Grand Alhambra Palace Tour. (70 Euro) (There is a daily visitor limit at the Al Hambra Palace, and our palace visit can also be carried out excluding the harem depending on availability. Alhambra Palace, one of Granada’s greatest treasures, is one of the most striking and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. One of Spain’s most visited historical sites, Alhambra is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has achieved worldwide fame. This famous work was begun in the 13th century as a defense fortress and palace on the flatland atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada and its construction continued until the 15th century. Due to the red color it received from the red earth used in its construction, it was called Alhambra, meaning “Red.” After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
7.Day Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the extra extra Grand Cordoba tour. (55 Euro) Cordoba is a historic city in Spain’s Andalusia region. It is famous for its historical and cultural riches, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. Cordoba is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Spain. In Cordoba, which we will reach after a 1.5-hour journey, the Guadalquivir River will greet us first. We will walk over the historic Roman
bridge and enter the city through the Roman gate. Entering the 2000-year-old city, its most magnificent structure, one of the largest mosques in the world, the Great Mosque of Cordoba rising on 850 columns, we will witness the magnificence of this magnificent work and receive impressive information with our guide. After our tour of the Cordoba Mosque, on the walking tour we will continue, we will see the clean old streets, the old inn reflecting all the delicacy of Andalusian architecture and the houses of Cordoba. After our tour here, we return to Granada. In the evening, guests who wish can join our Grand Neighborhoods (Albaicin and Sacromonte Gypsy Quarter) tour. (45 Euro) Albaicin is a historic and fascinating district of Granada. This area, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses and scenic hills. It bears traces of Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and reflects the history of Granada. After our tour here, we will watch the Gypsy show and their way of life in entirely handmade caves, accompanied by a drink. After our tour, return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
8.Day Granada – Malaga – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Malaga. Upon our arrival, our city tour begins. Malaga stands out as a city with historical and cultural riches located in southern Spain, on the Costa del Sol coast of the Andalusia region. Known for the warm climate of the Mediterranean, Malaga is famous for its sunny weather and beautiful beaches throughout the year. During the city tour we will take here, after seeing important points of this beautiful city such as Malaga Cathedral, botanical gardens, city hall, and harbor, we head to Malaga Airport. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, departure to Istanbul at 18.00 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1306. Arrival at 23.25 local time and end of our tour.
