Meeting 3 hours before departure at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Porto at 07.55 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1449. After arrival at 10.00 local time, our Porto city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Porto is the country’s second largest city and is famous for its unique architecture, colorful houses, and narrow streets. During the city tour we will take, our first stop will be Boavista, known as the modern trade and business center. Then our next stop will be the Queijo castle boundaries located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. From here, passing through the Foz district, an old fishing village where the Douro River flows into the ocean, we head along the riverbanks toward the center of Porto. Our route will start from Carmo Square. Passing by the historic Lello bookstore and Clerigos Church, we will descend to Aliados Square. Bento Station, Sao Francisco Church, Stock Exchange Palace, Porto Cathedral, Liberdade Square, Batalha Square, Santa Catarina, the city’s most famous shopping street, I. Luis Bridge, and Arrabida Bridge will be among the places we will see. Our tour will end with the exploration of the Ribeira district, located on the banks of the Douro River and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
2nd Day Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Guimaraes & Bom Jesus de Monte & Braga tour. (65 Euro) Guimaraes is a historic city located in the north of Portugal and is one of the country’s most important cultural and historical centers. Also known as the "birthplace of Portugal," Guimarães has great historical significance as the place where the Kingdom of Portugal was founded in the 12th century. The city resembles an open-air museum with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and medieval structures. In this walking tour through this beautiful city, chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2012, the medieval castle, churches that are unique works of Portuguese architecture, magnificent gardens, historic houses, and streets will remain in our memories. After our tour, we move on to our next stop, Bom Jesus do Monte. After descending the winding stairs in front of the Bom Jesus Cathedral, built in neoclassical style by Carlos Amarante between 1784 and 1857, we head to Braga. Braga, known as "the Rome of Portugal" because it was built by the Romans 2,000 years ago, is one of the oldest settlements in the country. Its charming historic streets, colorful squares, and traditional buildings will take you centuries back as you explore. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
3rd Day Porto – Fatima – Obidos – Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off toward Lisbon. Our first stop along the way is Fatima. This place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three little shepherds in 1917 and gave them three secrets, is one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers of Christianity. Our next stop is Obidos. When you arrive in Obidos, you will feel as if you have traveled centuries back in time. People living in this small town still walk around in traditional clothes on certain days of the week, bringing history to life. During the pleasant walking tour we will take in the city, this small town will remain in our memories with its narrow streets, small churches, beautiful houses, and shops. After our tour, we head to Lisbon. On the way, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Budda Eden Garden tour. (40 Euro) Buda Eden is designed with inspiration from Asian cultures and, as a large open-air art gallery, hosts thousands of tourists every year. The garden is filled with ancient Asian statues, large Buddhist figures, and many works reflecting traditional Chinese philosophy. It also attracts attention with its Japanese gardens, artificial ponds, and fascinating vegetation. After the tour here, we head to Lisbon.Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal, and one of the oldest capitals in Europe. Located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, this historic city stands out with its impressive views, colorful neighborhoods, and rich cultural heritage. On our tour, after first visiting the church section of Jeronimos Monastery, we will stop for a photo break at Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument on the banks of the Tagus River. After a short walk in the Alfama district, the oldest part of the city and the least damaged by the 1755 earthquake, named after the Arabic word for bath and discoverable only on foot, we will return to our vehicle. Along the way, after the photo break on the upper terrace of Eduardo Park overlooking Marques de Pombal Square, located at the end of Liberdade Avenue, passing through the Baixa district, Rossio and Restauradores squares from Praça do Comercio, we complete our tour and transfer to our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Fado Night with Dinner tour. (65 Euro) Fado is an emotional style of music that tells the history, love, loss, and nostalgia of the Portuguese people. After this magnificent night, where you will experience a piece of the Portuguese spirit with a pleasant meal and drink, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
4th Day Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Lisbon Pearls (Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo de Roca) tour. (70 Euro) Sintra is a charming town located north of Lisbon and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city is famous for its rich history and extraordinary nature. The most striking structure in Sintra is Pena Palace, built in the 19th century. With its colorful and fairy-tale-like appearance, this palace, visible from the hills of the city, has become the symbol of Sintra. After the tour here, our second stop will be at Cabo de Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Proceeding along the ocean coast, we first reach Guincho Cape and then the "Boca de Inferno" rock near Cascais. Then we move on to our third stop, Cascais. In Cascais, a charming holiday town on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, after visiting the fishing harbor, our next stop is the Estoril district, famous for its casino. Estoril historically became one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations in the early 20th century and is especially preferred by royal families and wealthy tourists. One of the most famous places in the city is the Estoril Casino, a large casino. After the tour here, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
5th Day Lisbon – Seville
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seville. Seville is a city in Spain’s Andalusia region, famous for its historical and cultural richness. During the city tour we will take in Seville, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, our first stop will be the Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, where Plaza de Espana is also located, the Seville Cathedral, the third largest cathedral in the world and also the burial place of Christopher Columbus (exterior), and right next to the cathedral the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque on which the cathedral was built, carrying the memory of the Umayyad State of Andalusia, as well as the Alcazar, the palace of the Castilian kings (exterior), will be among the places we will see. Later, passing through the Indies Archives, where records of all sea voyages made to the American continent until the 19th century were kept, we will reach the old narrow streets of the Santa Cruz district, called "old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after seeing Torre del Oro, or the Golden Tower, which was once the main campus of Seville University, formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum, we transfer to our hotel in Seville. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Flamenco Fire Tour. (55 Euro) Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of flamenco culture in Spain. The city is famous for its traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. You will be mesmerized while watching flamenco dancers during the Flamenco night we will have. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
6th Day Seville – Ronda – Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Granada. On the way, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Town of Ronda tour. (35 Euro) Ronda is a famous mountain town located in Spain’s Andalusia region, standing out with its historical and natural beauty. The city is especially known for its deep valley and the historic bridge over it, Puente Nuevo. This bridge was built in the 18th century and has become a symbol of Ronda, spanning the El Tajo Canyon that divides the city in two. Ronda also has a historic bullfighting arena and is considered one of the oldest bullfighting arenas in the world. After our tour here, Granada is a city full of history and culture located in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain’s leading tourist destinations and hosts millions of visitors every year. During the city tour we will take here, Gran Via Street, BibRambla and Town Hall Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), Granada’s first university Madraza, the Silk Market, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai are among the places to be seen. After our tour, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Alhambra Palace Tour. (70 Euro) (There is a daily visitor limit at the Alhambra Palace, and our palace visit may also be carried out excluding the harem, depending on availability. It is our important request that you inform your agency of your participation in this tour during the reservation.) One of Granada’s greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace, is one of the most stunning and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. As one of Spain’s most visited historical sites, the Alhambra is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and has gained worldwide fame. This famous work began to be built in the 13th century as a defensive fortress and palace on the plain atop the Sabika hill overlooking Granada, and its construction continued until the 15th century. Due to the red color it takes from the red earth used in its construction, it was called Alhambra, meaning "the Red." After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
7th Day Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Our guests who wish may join the extra extra Magnificent Cordoba tour. (55 Euro) Cordoba is a historic city in Spain’s Andalusia region. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. Cordoba is one of Spain’s oldest and most beautiful cities. After a 1.5-hour journey, in Cordoba we will first be welcomed by the Guadalquivir River. We will enter the city by walking over the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate. The city’s most magnificent structure, the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world and rising on 850 columns, will be entered, and with our guide we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent work while receiving impressive information. After our tour of the Cordoba Mosque, on the walking tour we will continue, we will see the clean old streets, the old inn, and the houses of Cordoba reflecting all the delicacy of Andalusian architecture. After the tour here, we return to Granada. In the evening, our guests who wish may join our extra Magnificent Neighborhoods (Albaicin and Sacromonte Gypsy Neighborhood) tour. (45 Euro) Albaicin is a historic and fascinating district of Granada. This area, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and scenic hills. It bears traces of Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and reflects Granada’s history. After our tour here, in the caves that are entirely handmade, with a drink, we will watch the Gypsy show and their way of life. After our tour, return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
8th Day Granada – Malaga – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Malaga. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Malaga is a city in southern Spain, on the Costa del Sol coast of the Andalusia region, notable for its historical and cultural richness. Known for the warm climate of the Mediterranean, Malaga is famous for its sunny weather and beautiful beaches throughout the year. During the city tour we will take here, after seeing important points of this beautiful city such as Malaga Cathedral, botanical gardens, city hall, and the port, we depart for Malaga Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Istanbul at 17.45 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1306. Arrival at 23.55 local time and end of our tour.
