Our tour departure day is within the official hours of the day you purchased.
In other words: if you will join our tour for April 23, after midnight on the night of April 22, when the date officially changes to April 23, our vehicle departs from Kadikoy at 01:00.
Our arrival time in Istanbul is between 00:00-02:00, depending on the density of the area and traffic conditions.
We set off toward Canakkale at the specified night hours. With the breaks we will take during our journey and the on-board breakfast package (sandwich and fruit juice), we arrive in the morning at Kilitbahir Castle and Namazgah Fortifications. After enjoying the panoramic views from these points, we visit the Rumeli Mecidiye Fort martyrdom, which is an important turning point of the Gallipoli Campaign, and the statue of Seyit Onbasi. While touring this martyrdom at the place where Seyit Onbasi embraced the shell and hit the Ocean Ship, we also stop by the Shahindere Martyrdom, a martyr cemetery. Here, in a triangular pyramid structure depicted in the shape of the moon and star, we commemorate our heroes who were martyred at the Shahindere area.
Then, we visit the Alcitepe Hospital Museum, which shows what the heroic soldiers who took part in the Canakkale War experienced throughout the war and where those who fell as martyrs are reenacted with mannequins. Afterwards, we see the Canakkale Martyrs' Memorial, built in memory of the Canakkale War, in which approximately 250,000 casualties were given. After free time and a photo break at the Memorial, we see Morto Bay, which was a landing beach during the 1915 Canakkale Battles, and the French Cemetery. Then we visit Ertugrul Bay and the Yahya Cavus Monument. Ertugrul Bay is one of the 5 bays in the Seddulbahir region during the Canakkale land battles where the British carried out landing operations, and here we listen from our guide to the stories of Yahya Cavus and his soldiers, who were assigned to defend it. After visiting Ertugrul Bay and Yahya Cavus, we move to Alcitepe Village for lunch (extra). After the meal and free time in the village, we now proceed to the Northern Front.
With the آغاز of the 25 April Land Battles, we arrive at the 57th Infantry Regiment Martyrdom, which was written into history in golden letters as the first regiment to face the enemy and symbolizes all our heroic soldiers and regiments. After that, we visit Chunuk Bair, where the incident of Ataturk's watch being shattered, which was on his chest while he was leading the bayonet charge on 10 August 1915, took place. We listen to the story of the moment when Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's watch was shattered from our guide. After our guide's informative explanations, we gather on the bus and set off on the return journey.
We look forward to hosting you, our valued guests, on the next ITC TUR trip and wish you healthy, happy days.
