LJUBLJANA – MILAN – (Verona Tour) – (Venice Masterpieces Tour) – VENICE
After arriving at Ljubljana Airport at 00:25 local time, we depart by our private bus heading to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, is home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and also the home of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the world’s greatest love story known today. On our panoramic sightseeing tour, which we will carry out on foot through Via Mazzini (the main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafés, and stores, and where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Venice Masterpieces Tour (85 Euro – including vaporetto and city entry fees). On our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic works such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of splendor and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower. Then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. VENICE – (Florence Masterpieces with Lunch Tour) –
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Rome. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Florence Masterpieces with Lunch Tour (65 Euro). Upon arrival in Florence, we begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we first see from the outside the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately stands out with its orange-colored dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is its bronze door, known as the “Gate of Paradise,” where some of the stories of the prophets mentioned in the Holy Quran are depicted symbolically. Afterwards, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the public to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and also houses Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to see. After the Florence Masterpieces Tour, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Rome region, room assignment and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and therefore called the “Strawberry Village,” Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets open onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley views blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, called Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” with its art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, and its buildings in different styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects in competition with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome manages to carry even these crowds without overwhelming the visitor, with all its beauty and aesthetics. On our tour of Rome, the imperial city that has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the ancient theater that became the city’s symbol and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, which was the ceremonial center of the city in imperial times, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that anyone who throws in a coin will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, and Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo, which will be seen panoramically. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). We begin our tour by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of the Angels – and Navona Square, then visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time in San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics gather and worship every year, and where the Pope greets the public from his office on special days, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we blend in with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto districts, where we will experience the true Italian atmosphere with their naturalness and simplicity as well as their cafés, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops, and the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by two bridges, will be seen panoramically. After the walking tour through the narrow, maze-like back streets with small tables set out, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Naples Tour) – (Sorrento, the Pearl of Amalfi, or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, during the full day at leisure, guests who wish may join the optional Naples Tour (40 Euro). In our tour arranged after arrival in Naples, Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola are among the places to see. After the Naples tour, during the free time offered, guests who wish may join the optional Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). We begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant and visit Pompeii, which lies on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in AD 79 destroyed the city; thanks to long excavations by archaeologists in 1748, the city has been revealed in all its vitality. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii.
Or, guests who wish may join the optional Sorrento Tour, the Pearl of Amalfi (80 Euro). Combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, and captivating visitors, Sorrento, located on the Amalfi coast, is famous for its small tourist boutiques, dazzling beaches, breathtaking views, and the Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello. After our city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento, we offer free time.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Siena & San Gimignano Tour) – (Pisa Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for our hotel in the Florence region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Siena & San Gimignano Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Siena. Siena is famous for its narrow streets dating back to the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, which is considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant tour in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we arrive at San Gimignano, our next stop. San Gimignano has earned a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, and it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural marvels that survived from 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing tour through San Gimignano’s narrow streets, where time seems to have stopped and visitors feel as if they have taken a time journey back to the Middle Ages, and through its squares, each opening onto the town square and from which we can panoramically see the 14 magnificent towers, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Florence region. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region on Italy’s Ligurian coast, known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes running parallel to the coast, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The region offers easy transportation between villages through walking routes and train connections. We complete our tour with a sightseeing visit in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name and continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino, which has inspired songs with all its beauty, captivates visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean, offering a view of remarkable beauty. After our Portofino visit, we continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan region, room assignment and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Outlet Tour) – (Como Tour) – İZMİR
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set out to arrange our Milan city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is known as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right address for shopping and dining, and during our tour we will see the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano among the main places of interest. During the free time offered at the end of the tour, guests who wish may join the optional Outlet Tour (35 Euro). In our tour, we will offer free time at the outlet center, home to stylish stores belonging to Italy’s most prestigious brands that shape the world fashion trend, as well as cafés and restaurants and personal activity areas. After this free time, which we offer for enjoyable and affordable shopping, we head to Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flight to İzmir. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como Tour (50 Euro). Como is a center located in the Lombardy region and stands out with its historical structures and orderly urban fabric. The city squares, cathedral, and shoreline offer visitors a compact and easy-to-explore area. Lake Como is one of Italy’s best-known lakes, and the hills surrounding it, lakeside settlements, and regular transport routes complete the region’s natural appearance.
