After arriving at Milan Malpensa Airport at 05:25 local time, we depart for Verona with our private coach waiting for us. Verona, included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and to the famous work Romeo and Juliet by the renowned English writer Shakespeare, which tells the world’s greatest love story known today. After our panoramic city tour on foot through Via Mazzini (main square), surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and Erbe Square, where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and head to our hotel in the Venice region. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately stands out with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the most notable features of the cathedral is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” on which the stories of prophets mentioned in the Quran are represented in symbolic scenes.
