Konya, the first stop of our tour, is the city of Mevlana, who has been regarded for centuries as a symbol of love, tolerance, and reunion. On this special journey in the footsteps of Mevlana, we will feel the city’s spiritual atmosphere and witness the unique spirit of the Şeb-i Arus period.
Şeb-i Arus is a special night that refers to the night when Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi reunited with God and means “Wedding Night.” During this meaningful period, Konya’s historical and spiritual atmosphere takes on an entirely different beauty. After picking up our valued guests from the designated points, we begin our overnight journey for the Konya Şeb-i Arus and Cappadocia Tour.
2nd Day Alaaddin Mosque - Karatay Madrasa - İnce Minare Madrasa - Green Dome - Mevlana - Tomb of Shams of Tabriz - Sema Ceremony
Following our overnight journey, we arrive in the morning with itctur.com in Konya, the largest city in Turkey by area and the capital of the Seljuks . We begin our Konya tour with the Karatay Museum, which held an important place in Konya’s cultural life as a meeting and gathering place for the dervishes and scholars of the era of Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî and was built by Celâleddin Karatay during the reign of Sultan II İzzeddin Keykâvus. Continuing our tour, we visit the İnceminare Madrasa (Stone and Wooden Works Museum), built by Vizier Sahip Ata Fahreddin Ali during the reign of Seljuk Sultan İzzettin Keykavus II to teach the science of hadith . For lunch, we proceed to our restaurant, where you can taste dishes from Konya cuisine such as etli ekmek, okra soup and sacarası. After the meal, we visit the Üçler Tomb and the 16-Segmented Green Dome (Kubbe-i Hadra) located just behind the Mevlana Museum, Selimiye Mosque, the Mevlana Tomb containing Mevlana and his father Sultan-ül Ulema Bahaddin Veled, Mevlevi garments, musical instruments, table setting, the Mevlevi Lodge, and the Tomb of Şems-i Tebriz, who kindled the light within that made Mevlana who he was. Afterwards, we go to the hall to watch the Mevlevi ceremonies held as part of the commemoration events for the anniversary of the reunion with the Great Islamic Thinker and Sufi, Hz. Mevlana. Following the Sema ceremony, we depart for our hotel for dinner and accommodation. Guests who wish may additionally attend the local Turkish Night event after dinner.

Day 3 Hot Air Balloon Tour – Ürgüp – Asmalı Konak – Winery – Göreme Open-Air Museum – Onyx Stone Workshop – Tomb of Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli
€150–250 for the balloon tour (Extra) At the predetermined early morning time, we meet in the lobby with our guests who wish to participate and transfer to the balloon launch area. We watch the preparation of the balloons. After preparations are completed, we take off. During our balloon ride, which will last approximately one hour, we will watch the fairy chimneys and the entire region, showcasing the unique beauty of nature’s art, accompanied by the sunrise. After our balloon tour ends, we land at the designated points, and the certificates presented along with the complimentary champagne will make the Cappadocia Balloon Tour, considered a must-do activity, unforgettable. After receiving our certificates, we set off for our hotel. Following the balloon tour, there will be sufficient time to prepare for today’s program upon our arrival at the hotel.
Balloon Viewing Tour (300 TL): Our guests who wish may join our balloon viewing tour as an extra (Extra 150₺). On this tour, we go to the balloon launch area and begin watching the balloons from the moment they are prepared. As the balloons take off, we go to Love Valley and watch the magnificent view created by the balloons in the sky, accompanied by the sunrise. You can immortalize this moment by taking unforgettable photos amid this magnificent atmosphere. Following our Balloon Viewing Tour, there will be sufficient time to prepare for today’s program upon our arrival at the hotel. (If we go to the balloon launch area and the balloon launch is canceled on site, no refund will be issued. If the balloon launch is canceled before leaving the hotel, the Balloon Viewing Tour fee will be refunded. The agency provides guiding and transportation services for this extra service.

On the last day of the Konya Şeb-i Arus and Cappadocia Hacı Bektaş Tour, after having breakfast at our hotel, we set off toward Ürgüp. In Ürgüp, we first visit Asmalı Konak, where the Asmalı Konak TV series, which was broadcast on screens in the early 2000s, was filmed. Our guests may visit the Asmalı Konak museum or take photos. Then, for our guests who wish to purchase world-famous wines, one of the first things that comes to mind when Cappadocia is mentioned, we go to the Turasan Winery. Our next stop will be a local delicacies shop where you can find pumpkin seeds roasted in milk over a wood fire, unique to the Cappadocia region, as well as many other local varieties. After a short shopping break here, we board our bus and head to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, one of the most important sites in the historical development of Christianity. At the Göreme Open-Air Museum, accompanied by our guide, we visit the Nuns’ and Monks’ Monasteries, Saint Basil’s Church, the Apple Church, Saint Barbara’s Church, the Snake Church, the Dark Church, the Sandals Church, and the Buckle Church, and receive information about them. After completing our visit here and meeting on the bus, we head to the Onyx Stone Workshop. Following our workshop visit, where we can see the processing of onyx stone extracted from Cappadocia, a volcanic region, as well as semi-precious and precious stones extracted from different depths, and the stages through which they are placed on the workbenches, we offer a shopping break for our guests who wish. After completing our shopping, we proceed to the restaurant where we will have lunch. After lunch, we bid farewell to Cappadocia and set off toward the Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Mausoleum. Upon arriving at the Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Mausoleum, we begin our mausoleum visit with our guide’s explanations. We visit the Üçler Fountain in the outer courtyard, the Main Courtyard (Kitchen, Meydan House), and the Final Courtyard (Pir House, Hacı Bektaş Veli Mausoleum). After our visit to the Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Mausoleum, we conclude our Konya Şeb-i Arus and Cappadocia Hacı Bektaş Tour with itctur.com and begin our return journey. We say goodbye after dropping our valued guests off at the points where we picked them up, hoping to meet again at itctur.com’s next event.

Tour Program and Times

Şeb-i Arus Program
Due to the high attendance in Konya during the Şeb-i Arus period, there may be crowds at the points of interest, hotels, and program venues. It is of great importance that guests attend ceremonies and events on time.
Extensive Walking Program
Walking is required at some points of interest during the Konya and Cappadocia tours. Therefore, comfortable and season-appropriate shoes are recommended.
Weather Conditions
Since the tour takes place during the winter season, weather conditions may be highly variable. Guests are advised to bring a warm coat, sweater, hat, scarf, and gloves.
Hotel Accommodation
For hotel accommodations included in the tour, rooms are generally planned for 2 or 3 people. Availability and a price difference may apply for guests who prefer a single room.
Şeb-i Arus Ceremony
Entry, seating arrangements, and participation conditions at the Şeb-i Arus ceremony and related events are subject to the rules of the organization. Due to the crowds, there may be waiting times in seating areas and during entry procedures.
Meeting and Departure Times
Guests must be ready at the departure points at the specified departure times of the tour. The vehicle may not be held for late guests.
Cappadocia Balloon Tour
The balloon tour in Cappadocia is not included in the tour program, it is subject to an additional fee. Balloon flights are conducted depending on weather conditions and civil aviation permits.
Photography and Video
Photographs and videos may be taken in the areas visited throughout the tour. Guests should be aware that they may appear in footage taken by İTC TUR for social media and promotional purposes.
Vehicle and Seating Arrangement
The seating arrangement inside the vehicle is planned according to the reservation and operational circumstances. The type of vehicle may vary depending on the number of participants.
Program Changes
Mandatory changes may be made to the tour program due to the operating hours of museums, archaeological sites, public institutions, or private businesses; weather conditions; and force majeure.
