Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. Toledo Cathedral, which took approximately 270 years to build, was formerly a mosque and today is the world’s 3rd most important cathedral and Spain’s main cathedral, housing the world’s most expensive works of art; San Martin Bridge; Damasquinos (Damascene craftsmanship); workshops and shops where gold handcrafting is done are among the places to be seen panoramically on our tour. GRANADA – (Alhambra Palace) – CORDOBA – (Cordoba Mosque & Cathedral Tour) – SEVILLE – (Flamenco Show)
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we organize our city tour in Granada. Granada, established on fertile lands at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is one of Spain’s most touristic cities. In our panoramic tour of the city, which throughout its rich history was largely influenced by the Romans and the Umayyads and is home to the Alhambra Palace, we will see among the historical Andalusian/Granada streets the Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus Statue, Grand Via, La Rambla, and the Town Hall Square, among relics from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods. Seville, the most populous and most developed city in Andalusia, owes its exotic and rich cultural history to the period in its history under the rule of North African Muslims, the Moors. We carry out our panoramic city tour accompanied by beautiful and magnificent cathedrals, squares, palaces, museums, towers, and churches. During our city tour, Plaza de Espana, where some scenes of Star Wars 2 were filmed, the octagonal Torro del Oro (Golden Tower), which was built for defensive purposes but later also used as a prison, the Seville Cathedral, which is the world’s 3rd largest Gothic cathedral and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987, the Giralda Bell Tower, and Maria Luisa Park are among the panoramic highlights. Governed throughout history under the rule of the Phoenicians, Romans, North African Muslims, and finally the Portuguese, Lisbon hosts many historical works with this history dating back to 1200 BC. During the tour we will carry out in Lisbon, the historic part of the city where Rossio Square and St. George’s Castle are located, and the Santa Justa Elevator are among the main places to be seen. After the city tour, we offer free time in the city center. In the continuation of our city tour, Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, built during the age of geographical discoveries and carrying symbolic significance for Portugal, will be seen and free time will be given for a photo break. After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we depart towards Obidos. Along the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Great Lisbon and Atlantic Coasts Tour program (80 Euro). The first stop of our tour will be the town of Sintra. Sintra will welcome us with its boutique shops, colorful and ornate houses resembling castles, and cobblestone streets. However, the most important feature that enabled the town to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List is its architectural monuments and buildings from the Romantic Period. After our Sintra visit, which we will carry out along streets and avenues surrounded by palaces and churches, our next stop will be Cabo da Roca, described as “The End of the World” and the westernmost point of the European Continent. After a short break for you to take photos of the famous beaches frequented by the ocean and surfers, our tour continues with panoramic excursions in Cascais, a fishing town, and Estoril, one of the most famous resort towns known as Lisbon’s backyard, famous for its SPA and thermal hotels, parks and golf courses, and also for its casino sections appearing in Casino Royale, the first Bond novel. In this program, we first reach Barcelona from Madrid by high-speed train in a comfortable journey of about 3 hours. Upon arrival at the train station in Barcelona, we start our tour accompanied by our guide. (On this tour, which will be organized depending on sufficient participation, the tour guide will accompany the guests who purchased the High-Speed Train Barcelona Masterpieces Tour program and will travel with them to Barcelona by high-speed train.) After breakfast, free time for the entire day. Within this free time, our guests who wish may join the extra Barcelona Icons Tour program (65 Euro). First, we go up to Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of the city, and visit Park Guell, designed and built by Antoni Gaudi. “Entrance fee included” We offer free time for photos and sightseeing in Park Guell, which found its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1984 and takes its visitors to a fairy-tale land with its vivid colors and figures inspired by nature. Then we will see Casa Mila, one of Gaudi’s most important works added to the city’s architecture (Gaudi’s House), and complete our tour by walking around La Sagrada Familia. Specifically for our guests joining the Barcelona Icons Tour, within the free time that will be provided, our guests who wish may join the extra Figueres & Dali Museum Tour program (75 Euro). In the first part of our tour, we will set off towards Figueres. After a short excursion in Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dali and home to the museum he designed from the theater building to house his works while he was still alive, we will visit the Dali Museum “entrance fee included” and, in the museum housing 4,000 works by Dali, we will go on an art tour accompanied by our guide. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel.
BARCELONA – (Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we head to the airport for our flight to Istanbul. Along the way, our guests who wish may join the extra Outlet Tour program (25 Euro). After our visit to the outlet center, which offers its visitors the opportunity to enjoy and experience pleasant and affordable shopping with many prestigious brand stores, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport and after completing the ticketing, baggage drop-off, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 16:10 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1094.
