İSTANBUL – BOLOGNA – SIENA – ROME
We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport Domestic Terminal 3 hours before the flight, then after completing ticketing, baggage check-in, and passport procedures, we fly to Bologna at 11:35 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1218. After arriving in Bologna at 12:20 local time, we depart for Siena with our private bus waiting for us. Siena is famous for its narrow streets dating back to the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant tour in Siena, where we will explore Campo Square and the narrow historic streets leading to it, we head to our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room check-in and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and therefore called the “Strawberry Village,” Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where the narrow streets opening onto the squares, the enchanting lake and valley views blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, known as Urbs caput mundi, meaning the “city at the center of the world”; a city that offers art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome can host even these crowds without feeling overwhelming, with all its beauty and elegance. During our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see, from the outside, the Colosseum, the ancient theater that became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire; the Roman Forum, which was the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times; the Fountain of Love, where legend says anyone who throws in a coin will return to Rome; the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists; Piazza Pietra; and Piazza Popolo, all as panoramic sights. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join the extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). We begin our tour by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, then visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time in St. Peter’s Square (Piazza San Pietro), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship, and where on special days the Pope comes out from his seat to greet the people, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with statues of 140 saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we blend in with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city ourselves, we will experience the true Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto area, with their cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops, as well as their naturalness and simplicity. The Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by two bridges, is among the sights to be seen panoramically. After a walking tour through the back narrow streets with small tables and a maze-like layout, we complete the tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (Amalfi Pearl Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, on our panoramic city tour we will see Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the city tour, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join the extra Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). We begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant, then visit Pompeii, stretching at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, which erupted in 79 A.D. and destroyed the city; as a result of archaeologists’ long excavations starting in 1748, the city was brought back to life in all its vibrancy. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii.
Or guests who wish may join the extra Amalfi Pearl Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). After our city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, famous for its small tourist boutiques, dazzling beaches, breathtaking views, and Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, where the past dates back to prehistoric times and it captivates visitors by combining Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, we offer free time.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Florence. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano, which has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, has earned its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural marvels that survived out of 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing tour in San Gimignano, where time seems to stand still and visitors feel as if they have taken a time journey to the Middle Ages in its narrow streets opening onto the town square, and in its squares where we can see the 14 magnificent towers panoramically, we continue our journey to Florence and organize our city tour upon arrival. On our city tour in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately stands out with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the most notable features of the cathedral is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” on which scenes from the stories of prophets, some of whom are also mentioned in the Quran, are represented. Next, the Bell Tower of Giotto, once used to summon the people to parliament; Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David is located; and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the sights to be seen. After the Florence city tour, we depart for Pisa. In our tour upon arrival in Pisa, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the baptistery, and Piazza dei Miracoli are among the places to visit. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region on Italy’s Ligurian coast, known for its colorful houses, terraced hillsides stretching parallel to the shore, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transportation between villages through hiking routes and train connections. After our sightseeing tour and visit in one of the 5 villages that give Cinque Terre its name, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses, inspiring songs with all its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean views in a scenery of remarkable beauty. MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces Tour) – COMO – (Lugano Tour) – OUTLET
After breakfast, we depart for Como. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Milan Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro). Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining. During our tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to see. After the free time provided at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Como. Upon arrival, on our tour, we will visit Lake Como, which hosts the summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and is famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo break accompanied by the lake’s unique scenery. After the free time in Como, we depart for our outlet center visit.
On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro). On our tour, we will take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, which will enchant us with its unique nature, wonderful scenery, and city park within the borders of Switzerland, and we will enjoy the unique views by photographing the magnificent nature. At the end of the tour, we continue our journey to the outlet center. MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set off for our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and also the home of the famous work Romeo and Juliet by the renowned English writer Shakespeare, which tells the greatest love story known in the world today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, where we will walk through Via Mazzini (main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and also see Verona Cathedral, we complete the tour and continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour (125 Euro – including Vaporetto transportation fees). VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, at the time specified by our guide, we depart for Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, ticket, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 13:30 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1218. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:00 TSI and the end of our tour.
