We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight time and, after completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Bilbao at 10:20 a.m. on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1113. Upon arrival in Bilbao at 12:40 local time, we depart to organize our San Sebastián city tour. In our tour of San Sebastián, located in Spain’s Basque Region and known since the 19th century as one of the summer resort centers of the European aristocracy, the panoramic sights to be seen include Playa de La Concha, Playa de Ondarreta, Bahía de La Concha, Ayuntamiento (City Hall), Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, Kursaal Congress Palace, María Cristina Bridge, Hotel María Cristina, the Old Casino Building, Parte Vieja (Old Town), and Monte Urgull. Continuing along La Concha Bay, we will see examples of civil architecture from the 19th and 20th centuries and historic streets along the coastline, and upon reaching the Parte Vieja area we offer free time for sightseeing and personal activities. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for Porto. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Leon Tour (40 Euro). Located in northwestern Spain, the city of León developed during the Middle Ages as one of the important centers of the Kingdom of Castile. Since the city has preserved its historic center, its architectural fabric has largely survived to the present day. During our panoramic city tour of León, where Gothic and Baroque works are found together, sights to be seen include Plaza Mayor, San Marcelo Square, Plaza del Grano, Basilica of San Isidoro, the Old Town Hall, Casa Botines, the Old City Walls, and the Cathedral of Santa María de Regla. PORTO – (Porto Masterpieces Tour) – (Óbidos Tour) – LISBON

We first proceed along Avenida dos Aliados. One of Porto’s widest boulevards, this avenue is among the areas to be seen panoramically with its granite historic buildings and views of the city hall. We then view São Bento Railway Station from the outside. The blue-and-white azulejo tiles on the station’s interior walls depict scenes from Portuguese history. On our route, Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto) will be viewed panoramically from the outside. Located on one of the city’s highest points, the cathedral area is one of the places where a short break will be given to photograph Porto’s historic center. We then continue panoramically along Ribeira District, which stands out with its narrow streets and traditional houses. Afterwards, the UNESCO-listed Luís I Bridge will be seen panoramically. The bridge’s iron structure creates one of the city’s most recognizable silhouettes. From here, we reach the Clérigos Tower and Livraria Lello area; the tower will be viewed panoramically from the outside and the exterior of Lello can be photographed. Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and like Istanbul a city on two shores, is also Europe’s 6th most visited city throughout the year. Governed throughout history by the Phoenicians, Romans, North African Muslims, and finally the Portuguese, Lisbon hosts many historical monuments with a history dating back to 1200 BC. During our tour in Lisbon, the historic district containing Rossio Square and St. George’s Castle, as well as the Santa Justa Lift, are among the main places to be seen. After the city tour, free time is provided in the city center. Continuing our city tour, the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, built during the Age of Discovery and symbolic for Portugal, will be seen and free time will be given for a photo break. Then we will see Avenida da Liberdade, known as Lisbon’s Champs-Élysées, famous for its cafes, high-end shops, and restaurants, offering us the opportunity to discover Lisbon from different angles. After the tour, we offer free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Atlantic Coast Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop will be the town of Sintra. Sintra will welcome us with boutique shops, colorful and ornate houses resembling castles, and cobblestone streets. However, the most important feature that earned the town a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List is its architectural monuments and buildings from the Romantic Period. After our Sintra visit among avenues and streets surrounded by palaces and churches, our next stop will be Cabo da Roca, called the “End of the World” and the westernmost point of the European continent. After a short break to take photos of the ocean and the famous beaches frequented by surfers, we continue our tour with a panoramic sightseeing of Cascais, a fishing town. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel in the Lisbon region and have free time to rest. In our tour, we first head along the Tagus River and panoramically follow the Cais do Sodré and Ribeira das Naus route. The illuminated waterfront road offers Lisbon’s modern face in the evening with a pleasant view. Then we will panoramically see the outer surroundings of the Alfama slopes, which are historic but not included in our daytime tour. The illuminated silhouette of the narrow streets allows us to observe the city’s traditional fabric in the evening. We then panoramically view the evening atmosphere of Praça do Comércio from the outside. The square’s yellow arcades and riverside lighting create one of Lisbon’s most impressive evening scenes. Built along the Nervión River, the city combines its industrial past with modern architecture. On our panoramic city tour, first, while proceeding along the banks of the Nervión River, we see modern structures intertwined with the historic fabric. After viewing the city’s symbol, the Guggenheim Museum, and the bridges over the river panoramically, we reach the Casco Viejo district, Bilbao’s historic center. In this center, which stands out with its narrow streets, buildings reflecting traditional Basque architecture, and small squares, the Santiago Cathedral will be our panoramic visit point.
